Carolina pulled pork with vinegar sauce, cheddar jalapeño sausage, fries and watermelon. Delicious! Sausage was really good!

Service and wait staff were good. Dining room was clean and pleasant. Kids especially enjoyed the cheddar biscuits/muffins our server brought out. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and everything was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are a little steep for sodas, but overall enjoyed our outing and will return.

8.9/10 Great place I think we were here for their soft opening or grand opening not sure - came 10/9/24 and the place was poppin- not overly crowded but a good amount of people which made us excited to try it. You order first at the front here then sit down with your number and they bring you the food. Not my favorite system but it works cause their whole pitch is quality BBQ "done the hard way", fast! And they deliver everything was tasty that we got they start you off with cheddar biscuits once you get seated. And they are tasty I think I ate 5 or 6 I had the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket. Mac n cheese and a cheddar jalapeño sausage- the ribs are on my list for next time! Service and vibe were great! They really manage to class up the fast food experience. Definitely worth a trip!

Love the new building with outdoor seating, we don't have enough of that here in Dothan. The food was amazing, service at the bar was top notch. Can't wait till they get their beer and alcohol set up.

Brisket was all fat and Mac and cheese was fair and small portion and overpriced. Would not recommend. The onion rings were good.

Turned a family of 9 away from dine in because we wanted to order two family feasts as opposed to 9 individual plates. A ridiculous policy.

We got here just as they opened on Saturday and a few larger parties had just come in. We started…read morewith mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and I had a diet Dr Pepper. Was super excited to see they have that good crushed ice! The mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh and they served them to us with their homemade ranch. My sister and I both got the breadsticks. Mom had a loaded baked potato and my fiance had the pulled pork sandwich lunch special. The good: mom's baked potato with all 3 meats was super good. The chicken was smoky and super tender and moist. Next time we would all probably choose just the chicken. It's a huge portion so have a big appetite if you order this. There's also a large variety of barbecue sauces on the table. We loved the mustard based one. Amanda's sauce is also smoky and a little sweet but super tasty. We didn't try the others. The okay, but I wouldn't say bad: the loaded breadsticks are good but they aren't as good as Mama Rosa's and it all comes down to the crust. Mama Rosa's are softer and cheesier. A little more buttery too. The ones at SJ's were good, but not great and the cheese seemed like it was probably pre shredded and bagged so it didn't melt down too good. No brown/caramelized areas of cheese on top, ya know? The bread was bland and sort of hard. It took a fair bit of sauce and ranch to make it have much of a taste at all because the bread really overpowered the taste of the meat and cheese. The quality of the meat on our breadsticks vs what was on mom's potato was night and day and they were almost the same meats. My fiancé's sandwich was okay but he said it wasn't anything special. We had been here quite a bit in the past for family parties, and I definitely recommend them for those. They have party rooms and great service for those parties. Food quality just seemed a bit less than what I'd had from here before.

Service was friendly, and it seemed like a nice quaint restaurant. I absolutely loved their fried…read moreokra and fried green tomatoes (they also provided some ranch to dip them in). I had their 1/2 chicken and tried some of the pulled pork too which was also good. Loved the mild bbq sauce the best with the meats.

Dinner tonight was a mixed bag. The restaurant was very busy, so we had to wait a while despite our…read morereservation. We didn't mind because KCB is such a great place. Our server was great but harried as she had to wait tables on both sides of the restaurant. We started with the trout dip, which was delicious. There was a long delay between appetizer and entrees, but again, busy! I had the snapper Ponchatrain, which was honestly one of the best fish preparations I've ever had! Blackened snapper on a bed of delicious grits with a topping of crab and an amazing sauce made for a spectacularly yummy dish. My husband had a disappointing experience with the country fried steak. The steak was overdone and the breading didn't stick to the steak. Just not at all satisfying. We will be back but will choose our entrees more carefully next time. The food is top notch, but pay careful attention to what you order and you'll be happy with your meal!

It had been far too long since we were here so we decided to make a weekend trip of it and come to…read moreone of our favorite restaurants. We made reservations online and I would highly recommend you do especially for the weekend nights. Their bar area is first come first serve, but we've definitely been there when it is completely full so I wouldn't count on it as a backup plan. It is all street parking in this area and on a busy night. It can be hard to find parking unless you go down a block or two. We started with the okra, french fries and they were delicious! They come with a Sriracha aïoli which gives a little bit of heat, but it balances nicely with these perfectly fried okra fries. It also feels like there's cheese inside of the fried so you get kind of those gooey us along with the okra. Important to note no sliminess! My husband got the steak frites. The steak was definitely thinner than we recall having in the past, but it was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was great. The grits were also really delicious as well, although he wished they would've been just a little bit creamier. I opted for the southern fried steak, which comes on a bed of horseradish mashed potatoes. There were a ton of mashed potatoes on that plate and honestly kind of overwhelmed the steak. But the steak was really tender. I love the breading, although there were certain portions where the breading felt, it was almost too much as it was super crunchy. My husband got the KBC old-fashioned. He always asks for a little bit of cherry juice in his cocktail and the first round, It definitely was more cherry juice than it was liquor. The second one he asked him to just bring the cherry juice in a small container so he could control it and it was much better. I had their peach cocktail and it was absolutely delicious. Very easy to drink, but full of flavor with peach and ginger.
