I recently came here for breakfast with some of my family. We were a party of 6. After about 10 minutes, we were seated. Our service was great from start to finish. The menu is a standard diner menu, but they also have a lot of really fun specials each week! I was here for the massive pancake and it did not disappoint. It was bigger than my head (and I have a big head! lol) I also got some savory items to try like the bacon, potatoes, and eggs. The food was good- nice greasy diner food. Definitely worth the drive for me, I will be back!

Deer Creek Diner is a local restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch seven days per week. Breakfast foods include combos (with eggs, meats, home fries, and toast), several flavors of omelets (e.g., pierogi and Mexican), several flavors of huge pancakes (e.g., banana-walnut and peanut-butter-jelly), several flavors of French toast (e.g., pecan-banana and apple-butter), biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito, etcetera. Lunch foods include several flavors of burgers (e.g., mushroom-Swiss and blue-cheese), several specialty sandwiches (e.g., reuben, chicken-parmesan, and fish), hotdog, meatloaf, pot roast, salads, wraps, quesadillas, etcetera. My husband and I ate one breakfast here. We could sit at a table of our own choosing. Our waitress served us promptly and politely. We enjoyed the old-school diner decor. A band played music outdoors. I ate half of a pizza-sized (huge!) triple-berry pancake, and my husband ate a Lorraine omelet (bacon, Swiss cheese, and onions) with home fries, toast, and chocolate milk. We very much enjoyed the flavors of everything.

The Deer Creek Diner has really easy access to places like Deer lakes High School and No off-season Sports Complex. We have gone in the past and the breakfasts are huge and really tasty. We recently visited while my son was playing a soccer tournament at Deer Lakes. This time I got a coffee to go for my wife and myself. We tried a regular and a cold brew. There were about 15 different flavors to try for the cold brew. The hot coffee was standard. I really like the coziness of this place as well as the friendly workers and service. We will be back next time we are in the area.

100% hidden gem! When the pancake was brought out to me I said 'that's as big as my steering wheel'. The waitress commented 'driving right in to nap time'. Unless you are up for the personal challenge not need to order a stack of pancakes! One is enough. Even if your are a football player! Omelette-Mexican was delish. The crème brûlée French toast was a game changer. Delish typical French Toast with the crunchy glaze that just made it taste 1000% better. Do go and go hungry! Also expect to bring a to go box home! It's a lovely little diner.

I got the reuben and it was delicious, however i recommend getting fries instead of the chips because they were quite chewy and not chip like. Service was good although she didn't really check up on us too much. And the place on the outside is beautiful! Same with the inside it gives very much old diner vibes!

I have been out this way many times over the past seven years but until this week never had the pleasure of dining here. I liked it so much for lunch on Wednesday, that I came back for breakfast on Thursday, and by today (Friday morning) I was basically a regular haha! The staff is super friendly and engaging, the atmosphere is great, and the food... well the food isn't only delicious, it's enough to feed a family. I was actually really apologetic that I couldn't finish yesterdays meal but I was told that food scraps ended up being used on a pig farm and not simply trashed. Whether or not that's true, it made me feel better. Now about today's meal... it was supposed to be 2 eggs, bacon, home fries and a small pancake. I don't have particularly small hands but I put one in the photo so you can see what their definition of "small" pancake is. Then the other photo is the biscuits and sausage gravy I had yesterday, which was also of a size that puts the cheesecake factory's famously large portions to shame. If you're in the area to fish or play disc golf, I can't help but give a huge recommendation to this small local business!

I've been back recently. Same place, though I feel like the menu has shrunk to breakfast only? Still good eating!

The waitress was really nice and said one table was leaving soon and she put some tables together for my large group. She was pretty attentive for serving almost the whole bar alone. My mom and I split the burger and mesquite butter wings I think they could've been a little more saucy, I didn't mention anything, but I'm sure she would've brought me more. If I asked. I heard a lot of good things about the ranch and it was good once I really really tasted it. I didn't find it that flavorful off the top but once I really tasted it, it did have good flavor. Maybe this was a fresh batch that needed to sit. My dad got the buffalo chicken eggrolls. They were good, but we didn't realize it would just be chicken dip in the eggroll wrapper We were expecting shredded chicken with hot sauce and cheese or something similar. I came to celebrate my granddad's birthday just to try something new and he generally likes bar food. He enjoyed it as we sang happy birthday to him. The other patrons and the waitstaff also joined in and someone even offered to buy him a drink. this is a really nice bar if you're looking for good food , good vibes and nice people.
