They ignored my reference picture, which was annoying, but I could have lived with it. They gave me short little wispy bangs, when I asked for curtain bangs, and I would have pinned them to the side and kept on going. What makes this the worst salon experience I've ever had is that they cut one half of my head at least half an inch shorter than the right. It is noticeably crooked, in addition to being way shorter than I requested overall, making it impossible for me to even put it up until it grows out. If you reach out to get assistance, you'll be a priority in 72 hours. Until then, they're super duper sorry that you're sad, but that sorry doesn't translate into any actual concrete assistance. 74 hours later...I contacted customer service again. I had to simultaneously chat with two agents and speak to one on the phone (in addition to at least two agents abandoning the chat) before I could speak to a supervisor who explained that I was such a priority, and she understood my concerns, but they couldn't do anything for me because the store wasn't responding to the concerns that had been brought to them. I should have known when I walked in and saw 7000 employees, all hanging out and chatting and not a single one to help a customer that this was not the place to go. I spend so much money on their website, and I guess I'll be switching to Sephora because Ulta could not care less about their customers. They aren't even making a financially sound decision in refusing to speak to me because my haircut cost $47, but I spend (without including the salon) close to $2500 at Ulta each year. So, that means that not only is the customer service bad, but their understanding of how math works sucks too.

But today when I went in they had not a single item I was there to see. More of a *shrug‍* I also had a return and there was an issue with it as well. Took two people to figure it out. So no I can't say I recommend this location and will avoid it in future if at all possible. There are definitely worse locations in the metro area but this one is by no means "good"

The salon is small but was busy on the Saturday i stopped in. I first requested a consultation (no fee) to talk about my color and cut, Roberto took his time to hear my concerns, asking a lot of questions about my hair care, products, styling habits etc. I left and looked forward to coming back and wasn't disappointed. Proceeds to cut off my hair it looks uneven and unblended, and throughout the appointment is extremely negative and makes fun of my hair color and my haircut from before. Her salon is in the cute little house on Maple Dr. Make sure you look closely as there are only yard signs in the front of the house. There are a few parking spots out front, but more around back. She greeted me when I walked up and I was shown to the wall of polish. She also offered me some water. I always have a hard time deciding on a color. I told her the turquoise I had in mind and she was so helpful is pulling out all the shades of turquoise she had. I then sat in this comfortable massage chair for my pedicure. She even turned on the massage options for me. With the scrub and warm towel wrap, the pedicure was wonderful. We moved onto the gel polish. Again she was so helpful when I showed her what I wanted. She paid much attention to applying the polish and made sure it had plenty of coats on and it looked great. She also offered nice conversation during my visit. I went on vacation for 2 weeks with the nails and one finger did start to chip a little after the first week, but all the others lasted for the duration of my trip (see photo). It's terrifying going to a new eyebrow threader because every time I've tried, they get the shape wrong and mess up months worth of shape correction. Even when I just ask for a clean up, people get it wrong. Not Jabeen though. She was very warm and welcoming when I walked in and made me feel comfortable from the start. She sat there and listened to my concerns, analyzed the photo I gave her, and gave me the option to pause in the middle of the threading to give feedback. When she finished one eyebrow, she gave me the hand mirror to take a look... it was PERFECT. Super precise lines and shaping to match the photo I wanted. And it was very quick! Most people take a million swipes of the thread to clean up eyebrows, she took less and slower swipes. I'm so happy with my eyebrows. Thank you Jabeen! I'll definitely be coming back. BONUS: She has online booking that's so easy to do. The other salons I've been to didn't allow appointments for eyebrows, so I'd end up going and then told that I have to wait an hour for a wax appointment to finish (after driving 45 minutes to get to said salon). Jabeen seriously gives a great and easy customer experience. I'm going to try mani & pedis with her next!
