Jimmy Johns has never failed me. Their delivery is extremely fast! When I visit this store, the sandwich is usually made by the time I pay and pick out my chips. I just ordered delivery for lunch and our order arrived in RECORD time! Literally less than 20 minutes from when I called in the order. FOOD: Fresh cut meats and cheeses, tons of free veggies to choose from (including sprouts), the most wonderful bread (don't forget to try the wheat bread out- it's my fav). They have a great selection of sandwiches to choose from. SERVICE: SUPER FAST! SUPER FRIENDLY! They do not charge a fee for deliver so I tipped well. ***My only long time gripe with them is they do not have horseradish sauce or any kind of horseradish mayo. This would really complement the #10 Roastbeef . ***Also, if you are in a crunch to feed a relatively large amt of people 50-150, give them a call. Jimmy Johns is NOT following and safety precautions for delivery drivers. My food arrived nearly an hour late and the driver was holding my fountain drink in his bare hands with his hands all over the bag. Instructions were to leave food at the door but he needed me to sign for a tip which I'd already added to the bill online. Very unsafe ! This needs to be posted everywhere as an unsafe restaurant during these times. read more

It's crazy to see so many negative reviews. We order takeout or deliver from here at least a few times a month. Service has always been accurate and delivers quick. Food quality is on point. This is my first time here. I figured with all the Yahoo banner ads I would stop in. I enjoy a good sandwich. First impressions? Better like Provolone cheese. It is all they have. The staff who were working around lunch time when I rolled up, all looked like a bunch of hung over frat boys. I tried to get help with the menu, only to be responded back to in glares and grunts. I have had better subs at Jersey Mikes, or Delware Subs. Quiznos is even a better place to get sandwiches. Jimmy John should have spent his money on hiring better staff and perfecting his menu, instead of billboard and internet ads. I was hungry and wondering what I could get for delivery, so Jimmy Johns came to mind. The delivery was slow. It took 30 minutes, even though I'm literally right down the street. Here's why- whatever stoner took my order wrote down the wrong building number, and from what I gather the delivery guy walked around for quite awhile before actually calling me to find out which building I'm in. Stoner guy who took my order also forgot to out two of the 5 items I ordered on the actual order. So, I had no chips, and I had no pickle. As for the food, I ordered the Vito sandwich. The bread was not only nothing special at all, but I feel it actually took away from the sandwich. The meat was good, but sliced oh so thin, and used very sparingly. The hot peppers were also used sparingly. I opened up my sandwich to add some salt and pepper, and I counted 8, eight tiny pieces of hot pepper on my sub. The peppers did taste good, though. The giant chocolate chip cookie was NASTY. Just stay away from that. It was rock hard. Like, tooth breaking hard, and tasted terrible. Even the chocolate sucked. Will I order from them again? Yes. But, I'll have the guy read the order back. To me, and I'll ask for extra meat and peppers. I'll also try the 7 grain bun, maybe that one's better. read more

When I want a fast sandwich, Jimmy Johns is my go-to sub shop. They make the sandwiches pretty fast and deliver fast too. Their bread tastes so good! It's not your standard italian/white bread, something about it lol. There was one time I ordered a sandwich for delivery on the same day they had customer appreciation where it was like $1 a sub? I ordered my food online bc I was just in the mood, wasn't expecting it to be super speedy delivery bc I'm sure the place was packed with customers... got a call like 10 mins later from JJ apologizing they haven't delivered my sub but they were adding a free cookie on my next order!!! Wow, that's awesome. Usually if I don't have time to call in an order I do the online order system and personally I like that way more, its more personalized (with the options to go "EZ" on lettuce or add "XTRA" mayo etc). read more

The sandwiches are OK. The bread is super flat (if you know what I mean.) However, they are fast! I do have a big problem with the delivery, however. If you ask for NAPKINS you will NEVER get them. This has become a pet peeve because as this is one of the only places that delivers, it is also a place I order from often. I keep asking for napkins...and never get them. Now each time I order and don't get napkins it sooo annoying! So annoying it motivated me to come here and write a review. In addition, I asked for mayonnaise and mustard to be included in my order. Nope. Just a sandwich tossed in a sack. But hey! They are super fast! If you want fast, this is where to go. However, don't go here if you want anything special. I placed an online order at 12:23 pm and around 1:15 pm realized that Hey I dont have my food. This is very unusual for Jimmy Johns. I mean they are freakishly fast and good right? Not this time. I proceeded to call and was told that my order was second in line to be delivered. The lady apologized and said they were really busy. Which happens right. Well around 1:30 I get a call from Jimmy Johns, which my coworker answered because I was on the phone, saying another 15 mins. Finally at 2 pm I call and ask for a manager. Ordered Jimmy Johns cause cafeteria was closed by the time I got to eat at work. Not especially impressed by the "freaky fast." I mean.. I'm not freaking. Well ok yeah, - freaking hungry. Called to ask where my order was after 35 minutes, and they said that there had been a mix up and it was going to be on its way. I felt they should have offered to comp my sandwich because of their mistake, but instead the manager offered to give me a free cookie (which I did not order). I've gone in here and have had it delivered a few times. It's been super fast either way. Sometimes they deliver in literally 10 mins. I don't think it's ever taken more than 20 mins or so which to me is pretty fast. They are a little weird about their peppers. I wanted a slim with peppers on the side and they could not do it. I didn't want the peppers free.... but they just could not do that for some reason. I had to order the regular sandwich with nothing on it to get peppers on the side. I think of this as being a bit quirky more than anything bc it's about the same price either way. Just sort of silly. I love ordering online and won't order from places where you can't order online. Their system is great and really easy. The delivery people are always really nice. They've always gotten my order right even though I usually order a custom sandwich. I was scared of the bacon at first but once i tried it, it's actually really good! I am disappointed bc their chocolate chip cookies seem to have changed and now they are kind of gross. Nice staff. Subs seem to be consistently good and made pretty fast when ordering in or take out. Someone below said something about the music, I agree that it is a bit loud but never had a problem talking to someone over lunch though. Delivery is usually really fast, I hardy ever have to wait more than 15-20 minutes. Andrea D. is complaining below about how she had to wait for over an hour to get her food. I had the same thing happen to me around that same date. After an hour I found out when the kid finally got here that he had just started. Big deal, cut the kid a break. read more

I like Jimmy John's, but the service here is just bad. I walked into an empty place and the cashier says "hi welcome." So I approach him we make eye contact and i tell him my order. He suddenly puts a finger up after I finished telling him the order and says "hold up one second." He talks to someone in the back of when they came in or something like that. Comes back to me and asks for my order again.. maybe he was in a bad mood and wanted to feel like he was in a position of power? I thought that was odd, but not expecting great service at Jimmy John's... So I continue to try to pay and he eyes my card and asks for ID. I guess he thought i stole this credit card and ran to buy a sub? I tell him a picture is on the back of the card and he tells me "well you can never be too safe bro" and still asks for ID. I give him my license as I'm shocked at this guy's behavior as he rolls his eyes at me. The receipt says Taylor is his name, but maybe you should stick to the back and not such a customer facing role. Seems like friendliness or customer service is not your thing. read more

I happened to be near this location at lunch so thought I'd stop in for a sandwich. It was right at 12:00 on a Friday and there was a line, but nothing crazy. After a few minutes it was my turn. I had a hard time hearing the guy helping me because the music was so loud. He also had a hard time hearing me apparently. I thought he repeated back "no tomatoes, add mustard" for my order (I got the turkey tom), but that's not how my sandwich was prepared. I have never eaten at this Jimmy Johns, and I never will. Today, one of their drivers hit my friend (she was riding on her bicycle) and KEPT GOING. He didn't ask her if she was okay or apologize to her until a police officer managed to get him on the phone (at which point he apologized for scratching her bike and not for scaring her half to death). Luckily, my friend is okay, but maybe "so fast you'll freak" is TOO FAST. ANY driver should be aware of whats going on around them on the road, and a driver that represents a company should be all the more cautious! More than that, the manager had the gall to call my friend back and basically question her validity with something that strongly resembles "well it's his word against yours". Had Jimmy cater an event this week. The sandwich buns were hard and dried out, there was only one slice of meat on each sandwich and alot of lettuce. These sandwiches were made two days ahead of time, it seems, as the sandwich wasn't as fresh as if u order it that day. If you're at the Domain and you're hungry and you want a quick, delicious sub...no place will make it and get it to you faster. The delivery fees are fractional and there's no minimum to have it delivered. They even have a way to fill out your order online, that way they have your info on file...like your address, number, and what you've been ordering. Totally legit on the technology. Love it almost as much as the #9 with hot peppers. Oh, and did I mention $.50 day old French bread? Great for bread sword duels.... read more

It probably took them about 20 minutes to bring our sandwiches; granted, we did order near closing time. On the bright side, we did adjust our order quite a bit and they didn't make any mistakes! The veggies aren't very fresh, and when I ordered a sandwich online it took 40 minutes to arrive (the store is 2.7 mi away...and it's a *sandwich* for crying out loud, not a cooked gourmet dinner for 12!). I have never had a bad experience here and the sandwiches are consistantly great. They deliver to my office all the time and I also walk in frequently. Today February 16th I went in at 1:45 and got my usual bootlegger add onions and peppers, I got in and out in literally 30seconds!!! I was slighty perturbed at first when I found out they dont deliver to my apts even though they are 2 miles away. But, I live on 360, in can take 25 minutes to go 2 miles in traffic. I think its smart to not promise freakishly fast delivery to an area they cant get to quickly. read more
