I frequent this location a lot within the past year and I have to say that some of the reviews I've read here don't reflect my experience at all. The restaurant has always been clean , my food has always been well made and fast. I typically eat at the restaurant because the tables are clean. The staff has always been great , specially the manager , she's a tall Hispanic woman who is always working hard and she's very courteous. We came to this location on Sunday 5/18 and were greeted with the worst attitude I've ever seen. The girl working the drive thru was rude, rushing us through our order and sighing, trying to end our order. We got to the window and they refused to enter our phone number for rewards and then gave us our food, both bags of chips had food on the OUTSIDE of the bag and all 3 sandwiches had mayo/mustard/other food on the outside of the wraps. our soda was also spilled all over the outside of the cup and they gave us attitude when we asked for napkins. I would have gotten past all of this if the food was made correctly but unfortunately we spent $37 and had inedible food because we asked for no mayo and there was GLOBS of it overflowing out of the sandwiches. We went through the drive through at 9:15. The girls working were not the image of customer service at all. The one taking the order was rude. We have rewards through JJ and when we went to claim rewards the window girl stated "we don't do rewards here". Compared to the rest of the fast food garbage in Benbrook this JJ's is a decent option. Unfortunately that's the best I can come up with. As far as JJ's goes, this location is my least favorite. Seems to be a high turnover of staff, and not very friendly. I appreciate the swift sandwich assembly, but the vibe here is a bummer. It's a 50/50 shot that they will mess up my order so I'm usually adding or subtracting something from my sandwich. Lately, I've been scraping off all the lettuce because it's old and yellow. I get it....they want to maximize the use of veggies and not waste any inventory, but the cut off for freshness needs to be re-evaluated. My company orders from this location 4 to 5 times a week, sometimes more. It is typically pretty good but lately has been declining rapidly. The last time I ordered, the delivery driver was a heavy smoker... my entire order had to be thrown out. It was as if she blew smoke directly into the bag and quickly closed it shut. I wanna start by saying I'm THRILLED to have a healthier option in Benbrook. I went in tonight for a quick sammich before I had to go to work. I placed my order at 6:38 pm and left with my order at 6:50 pm. So, maybe 12 mins seems fast but I watched 2 cars leave the drive-thru before I got my sandwich. They had a big order bc I saw them making a crap ton of sandwiches before mine or the other walk-in patrons. So, my advice is to either call in ahead or go through the drive bc I didn't have that 12 minutes to waste. The staff was great and welcoming but it just took a little too long for a walk-in order; especially when I watched them complete the drive-thru before me when my order was first. Their tea is AWESOME. I don't know what their magic is but I would drive there just for that. JJ, if you speed up your walk-in orders just a smidge, I would give you 5 stars. read more

I was a fan of this sandwich shop, although my family does not like it, until May 12, 2020. I purchased a #13 on May 9th. The total was $6.60, order #80. I requested no veggies or condiments except mayo. When I got home the sandwich was covered in mustard. I had only taken one bite. I placed the receipt and the sandwich in the bag and put it in the fridge. Sunday was Mother's Day and I was busy. On May 12th I called and asked to have another sandwich made and I would come pick it up. I told them I bought it a couple days ago and the man on the phone said their policy was no remakes or refunds unless you call the same day. OK, so if I return the sandwich to you on the same day I bought it what will you do with it? Resell it? Give it to someone else? Let an employee eat it? Really? You would have thrown it in the trash!! If I return the sandwich, in the bag, with a receipt 2 days later what will you do that is different? Nothing, you would have thrown it in the trash. So why such crappy customer service? Why the need to be rude and not friendly? I see this is a common complaint with this location. I can for sure be stubborn and I know losing my business is not much but I buy for our soccer teams, basketball, football and baseball teams on away game days so you do lose that as well. Good ingredients, quick and fresh. I always get the #6 with Vito meat (a veggie with meat...makes sense :)...I gave a 3 because they didn't put avocado spread on my veggie and that's a key ingredient on that sandwich and the main reason I get it vs the regular Vito. read more

We live in Benbrook and we ordered Jimmy Johns the other night for dinner for the first time. I just want to say if you are wondering about how fast they deliver, I can tell you right now that we had our sandwiches at our door step 15 minutes after we ordered. The online app for them is very detailed and drawn out which I like a lot but made me worry how well it would transfer onto our food. EVERY SINGLE small detail we picked on the app was on the sandwich, it was really awesome! I will be ordering again especially since the sandwich weren't soggy or anything. ***STEER CLEAR PEOPLE*** A nice, fresh sandwich was calling my name. I've always heard good things from this joint, so I ordered the sandwich of my choice. I guess it was my lucky day because the gentleman in front of me bought my lunch! My lucky day, went down from there really quickly. I ate about 4/9 of the sandwich. It was mediocre. Not amazing, to be exact it was below average. That's not the issue here. As I was trying to enjoy my meal, I heard a buzzing sound coming from the meat and veggies wedged between the bun. Believe it for not, I fly popped out of my sandwich and plopped itself on the paper wrapper next to the sandwich. I was appalled and felt disgusting. And, the worst part is... it was ALIVE. Wow. I have never wanted to throw up more (except one time when I drank too much... hehe!) Jokes aside, I had an awful experience here and will not be returning to any Jimmy John's. Not Sanitary. I will never order from this location again. I placed an online order, and after 40 minutes and no delivery called the store. I explained what was going on and was very rudely told that it would be another 15 minutes or so. At that point I explained that I just wanted to cancel my order, the girl who answered told me that she had no way of contacting the driver to cancel the order or to reverse the charges on my card. This is the second time I've had this happen with the Benbrook location. Horrible customer service, no sandwich and charged for it anyhow. read more
