Felt like getting a sub today, and well, I always get the Italian and it was yummy. I smothered it with the Captain Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot Sauce and it was delicious. I just wish that they gave thicker pickles, since the ones they give are sliced so thin. My boyfriend got the sweet and spicy meatballs and he liked it, but the ratio was a bit off, since there was too much bread. Overall, it was pretty yummy. read more

If I could give this location and company a million zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. I placed an order on the app for a hook & ladder salad and a sandwich. The sandwich was correct, but the salad was a joke. There was no meat on the salad, the only cheese was a cut up piece of sliced cheese, but it's supposed to come with shredded cheese. There was a handful of tomatoes and cucumbers combined, and then the kicker was the bug found at the bottom of the bowl. I tried calling the store immediately, but the number is out of service. I went to the contact us link, only to find myself chatting with a robot. Finally the store manager calls me (on her personal phone), I wasn't able to answer at that time and when I called her back, she says she's at the store getting a phone upgrade and would call me back. After 2 days and no return phone call, I call her back - no answer so I left a message. She calls me back and says all she can offer me is a card for a free sub at their store. Well, that won't work for me, as I won't be going back there. I told her I wanted to speak to the owner, she supposedly called him and then calls me back. Supposedly the only thing they can offer is a free sub card, no refund. I try calling corporate, guess what........they aren't taking calls at this time. What is with this company????? They have 3 sandwich options small, medium, and large. Hot and cold options. Two bread options wheat and white. Lots of free add ons (veggies) Extras like bacon and pepperoni that you can add for a cost They also offer combos that come with a drink and chips. Similar to Subway but with a case, they donate money to firefighters. Make it easy for customers because you can round up your total and your change goes to firefighter charity. My sandwich was really good, steak and cheese, and comes with provolone, steak, bell pepper, and onion, and I added black olives. As you can see from my pic, they were generous with everything. The choices are fantastic. Most recently, the Thanksgiving Turkey Sub was really good...until it wasn't. We've had bad food that caused gastrointestinal acrobatics that can generally be attributed to dirty work surfaces or employees not washing their hands. It's unmistakable. About every third visit to this Firehouse ends with me, Pepto, and several rolls of Charmin. Sadly, I think I've learned my lesson. Firehouse is superior to the other sandwich joints, hands down. The unsanitary conditions are easily remedied as long as someone is listening and takes action. I'll miss the meatball sub but my guts need a break. Really expensive for what you get. I was given a large cajun chicken sandwich today with three slices of chicken on one half of the sandwich and the other have was basically a pile of goo. It had sauce, some wilted lettuce, multiple jalapeño stems and nothing else. $50 for one large one medium and one small with no drink, and a kids meal. Stopped in for lunch and meeting with some colleagues in the filming industry. I ordered the Hook & Ladder Salad (smoked turkey) and held the order of the Virginia honey Ham and order the oil & vinegar dressing and unsweetened tea. They use romaine lettuce, tomato, green peppers, and cucumber. The salad is pretty good. I liked it. Even though it's off the freeway there was plenty of room with chairs and tables to have meeting and conversation. I would not hesitate to go back for a quick lunch and meeting. read more

I sent in a screenshot of my receipt from the app and the email which matched the total but not the amount off I was supposed to get. My very first visit. I don't like writing negative reviews but i have no idea how they can call a sub "italian" when it's got no vo (italian dressing or vinegar and oil) or **LETTUCE** on it!!! So against my will my boyfriend took me here . Being the stubborn girl that I am I didn't want to go here at first because I thought of it more as a guy eatery and pretty heavy sandwiches. Contrary to my self built stereotypes, I really enjoyed my lunch here! I ordered the Hook & ladder on the lighter sandwich option. It was delicious! It all disappeared to say the least. The quality of the meats and veggies was pretty great for a chain and overall I think I may be hooked myself. I went to fire house around 3:15 today and it was a very unpleasant experience. The "manager" who was in there was terrible, she was aggressively yelling at her new employees! She was taking her anger out on a new employee who also got frustrated back at her and they had a loud argument while there was multiple customers in the shop. I feel so bad for both of those 2 new employees, I bet they will not come back because if I had to deal with that women I wouldn't come back either! I waited for my food for probably about 10 minutes and she made it extremely uncomfortable, slamming stuff, loudly saying passive aggressive comments to coworkers, and just being very crazy! I should have said something in person but I thought she'd yell at me next! I get everybody has stressful days but if you are in charge and have a problem with your employees you do not sit there and aggressively berate them in front of multiple customers, just completely unprofessional!! You have a private conversation and coach them on how to be better!! The lady was a shorter middle aged women with a high ponytail, I suggest upper management have a stern conversation with her because she was completely out of control and I do not know if I will come back to this location because of her!! I bought a sub earlier in the day and everything was fine. Didn't get enough to eat and was really enjoying the food so I decided to go back - I call at 8:29 pm. Jacob tells me no orders after 8:30. I tell him it's 8:29 Cupertino atomic clock time so all good. He tells me I'm wrong - it's 8:35. I've got the call log and am fully planning on showing Jacob he is wrong. Petty deserves petty IMO. When I get in (where I could have just picked up my food and left now I have to wait) I say that I called at 8:29 pm. Who is Jacob and why is he telling me one thing and doing another? Jacob who is mopping says the clock runs fast. I ask - so you know your clock runs fast but you are telling me I'm wrong about the time? I get it if I'm calling after time but I called right before and then I have to wait. I'm calling you before the time YOU SAID, and you are going to sit there and lie and say I'm wrong when you admitted your clock is fast? FOH. Jacob should fix the damn clock if he wants to be petty about the policy. Otherwise do what you said you do and take my order since it's before 8:30. See why this place is empty on a Friday night. It will stay one guest emptier from now on. Don't get me wrong I get the policy so people don't call in at 8:50 and make everyone re clean. I recently experienced my worst visit to a Firehouse Subs Restaurant I have ever ha. I have been a semi-regular customer at tje Burleson, Tx store for several years now. On my most recent visit I was told that unless I could produce my Service Dog, who had been there many times, certificate of registration I would either be denied service or could eat outside on the sidewalk. This us NOT the way the ADA law reads. The cashier said she was sorry but that was the policy according to her GM. We left and went to Arbys where we, and my service dog (who is trained to recognize when I am experiencing a medical need and respond, is certificated and duly identified with a vest, tag and patch identifying her as a medical alert service dog) were welcome. If that is indeed Firehouse Subs policy I will no longer be a customer of this or any Firehouse Sub establishment. read more

Never got served showed up at 12:10 there was a line about 7 or 8 people. After standing there for 20 mins everyone in front of me left because of the wait. They just told everyone they went taking orders. Then I got to front of line because everyone else left. Looked to be only 3 workers there. The lady said I can take your order but it would be another 10 mins before they would start. I said that's fine and then waited another 25 mins and they where just focused on making there door dash orders it looked like. They should serve there customers first in store. Subs are very good.but the crew this owner/GM hires leave a lot to be desired. They almost never change their gloves in between orders. This is a picture of the uncut lunch meat on a salad we got. My wife & I came in this evening with about 4 kids working In the back. We only eat turkey or chicken & there isn't one thing on the menu that doesn't have just turkey or just chicken. We can definitely "build our own" but it would be nice to have at least one or two options of different sandwiches that aren't from a cow or pig. Also, it took 10 min for our one sub. Seems as if there are only two of the four doing the subs. & they aren't even that busy. We enjoy the taste of the sandwiches just a few things I would check into for the future read more

Just moved to the area and this is one of our favorite spots to eat, the gluten free roll they have is amazing. I always order ahead on my phone so I can't speak to the customer service or what it's like to eat in the store but every time I've come in I've received a smile. Also I saw another person comment about how the staff is "always high" and first of all that person is a narc and second of all have you ever had food prepared by a stoned person? This place makes a great sub! I'm pretty positive my favorite is the Italian. I really like to add some Captain Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot Sauce on it. That sauce is so good I had to get a bottle to go. The sandwiches are always hot and taste very fresh. Add a bag of Sun Chips and a drink from the Freestyle Coke machine and you have an awesome meal. The location has always been very clean every time I have been in there and the employees have been extremely nice. I plan to frequent this place a lot more. read more
