    a sandwich and chips

Normally I love a Jimmy John's sandwich but it was terrible today. My bread was rock hard and way over baked. Not worth the price tag at all today.

    Freaky fast frontage.

I've been to JJ's three times in three different locations. All three times were "freaky fast" from ordering to food arrival and they were freaky good too. Their menu seems simple and straight forward with the typical "order by number" process, but as I started to review each sandwich's ingredients, I became fascinated by what seemed like a whole lot of variety, but in reality 80% of the differences were meat types--the included veggies remained relatively consistent through the menu, but not exclusively so. Thankfully, the drive-thru lady was very kind and patient and allowed me to indulge in this analytic exercise. Once I placed my order, my sandwich was in my hands in less than 60 seconds. Freaky.

Can we SCREAM SANDWHICH!!!!!! LOL! I sooooooooo love Jimmy John's!!! I can't wait until customer appreciate day next year! $1.00 sandwich.... Lol! I was craving bread and had to stop at this location since it's the closet to my job. The only sad part is that they don't deliver over the bridge on battlefield. Sad face!!!! But this location is always clean and the staff is always pleasant. But my gosh gully!!! The prices have went up up and away! The prices seem to have gone up over the years. Or probably I just needed glasses. But overall my Turkey Tom is always the bomb.com. You have to eat it right away though. Cause once the bread gets soggy it's kind of gross eating it. Just sayinggg.

    Italian Sub #9
    Kathryn M.

I was at first silently boycotting this chain because of an article I read about the owner killing endangered tigers in the jungle. No, I'm not joking. I decided to give them a chance today since I did not get to eat on my lunch break. I chose the drive thru and ordered a #9 Italian sub with a cherry coke. I was very surprised. They made my sub absolutely perfect. The bread was yummy, however not as soft as I would prefer, but still delicious. The meats, lettuce, and tomatoes were fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

Great service, great food, very clean, all around great experience. I would highly recommend stopping by for great, 'freaky fast' service.

Having "NY Bagel" is literally, sacrilegious to those of us that know WHAT a true "NY Bagel" is. Their name hold true to form, what a NY Bagel is. I initially wanted Bagels & Lox, but changed my mind when I saw what I was also craving... PASTRAMI. I got "The DON," pastrami piled high (NOT "Katz" high, but a Chesapeake high, with Cold Slaw and a pickle. When I tell you delicious!! The WATER's PH balance is the same as NY, making the bagel, an authentic "NY Bagel." The Cold Slaw... my god today... I haven't had slaw like this since I left NYC!! Ambiance, basic, not very reminiscent of NYC, BUT, every menu item is named after an area in NY. So pleased. I'll be back!!!

A Longtime Favorite That Has Started to Slip I love this…read moreplace and have recommended it often, but the quality of one specific sandwich has noticeably declined over the past few months. What Made It Memorable Photo 1 shows the Reuben sandwich from October 10, 2024, and it was unforgettable--the kind of sandwich I could not stop thinking about. Since then, my family and I have returned at least once a month. When family visited from out of town, this was one of the first places we wanted to take them. What Has Changed Fast forward to 2026, and the quality over the past few months has gotten worse with each visit. The sandwich no longer feels like the same thoughtful, well-made item that made us keep coming back. * The bread seems different. * The ingredients feel sparse. * Today's sandwich was burnt. * The dressing was missing. Overall, the quality control just does not feel consistent anymore. I truly enjoyed this place, but I cannot justify paying $17 for a sandwich that is so clearly not what it used to be. A Hopeful Note The employees are kind and friendly, and the service is usually quick even when the restaurant is busy. The food used to be amazing, and I am genuinely hoping this is just a bump in the road and that the team can make a few adjustments to bring the quality back to what it was.

Consistency--both in the kitchen and in the dining room--has made this longtime favorite a reliable choice for those who value substance over flash. The service reflects that same steadiness. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing--always ready with thoughtful suggestions for anyone navigating the menu. I began with the garden salad, a straightforward but well-executed mix of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet Vidalia onions, finished with housemade croutons and a balanced balsamic vinaigrette. It's a simple dish done right, which sets the tone for what follows. The she-crab soup--an award-winning staple--delivers exactly what you hope for in a classic rendition. Rich, velvety, and deeply satisfying, it's best enjoyed in a cup unless you plan on making it the centerpiece of your meal. For the entrée, the French Dip stands out as a clear highlight. Built on a soft roll and filled with thinly sliced prime rib--slow-roasted to achieve both tenderness and depth of flavor--it's served with a properly seasoned au jus that brings the entire sandwich together. It's a dish that leans on quality ingredients and careful execution rather than unnecessary embellishment, and it succeeds because of it. Court House Café continues to earn its reputation the right way: consistent food, thoughtful service, and an atmosphere that feels rooted in the community it serves. In a dining landscape often chasing trends, this is a place that understands the value of doing the fundamentals exceptionally well--and doing them every time.

Court House Cafe's reuben is THE best reuben sandwich I've ever had. The pastrami is tender and doesn't get caught up in between your teeth like other places and just enough sauerkraut to not be overbearing. The steak fries are always hot and crisp. My only gripe is that I prefer Heinz ketchup with my fries which they do not have. The service is always top notch and the girls there are always friendly. My drink was never empty. Now, wait times may vary but it is worth the wait.

Service is always pretty good but if you want excellent above and beyond service, you're going to want to be served by Anton. Unfortunately, it ended up being a pretty disappointing experience. When we arrived it wasn't busy at all. My husband ordered a cocktail and we ordered a few appetizers to share. Even though there didn't appear to be any other bar drinks being made, it still took about 15-20 minutes for his drink to come out. We were watching the bar area and neither bartender seemed to be doing anything, so we were confused about the delay. When our food arrived, our waitress noticed both of our drinks were empty and said she'd bring refills on her next "round" but she never came back until it was time for the check. The food itself was also disappointing. It took quite a while to come out and when it finally did, it felt rushed instead of cooked correctly. The volcano shrimp was delicious hot shrimp, but the sauce on it was ice cold, like it had just come out of the refrigerator making it not that appealing. The steamed shrimp were very overcooked and difficult to peel. The fried pickles and calamari were both undercooked, leaving them soggy instead of crispy. We really wanted to love this place, especially after hearing such good things, but we left disappointed. I called the restaurant twice now and was told a GM would return my call and no one has. This restaurant genuinely doesn't care if you're happy or not, they just want your money.

The Yardbird sandwich was pretty good as well. The jambalaya on the other hand not so much (the chicken was hard). The fries were delicious as well. They had jenga, cornhole, gliding dinner tables, a fire pit, an entire other bar. It was a great surprise.
