The employee at the sandwich station repeatedly made requests for essential components, specifically bread and the initiation of fry orders, which seemed to be consistently overlooked or delayed by his two colleagues. This apparent lack of responsiveness directly impeded his ability to efficiently assemble orders, leading to noticeable disruptions in the workflow and affecting the overall pace of service at that station. It conveyed the impression of either a considerable communication breakdown or a lack of familiarity with standard operational procedures among the two supporting staff members. This situation appeared to place an undue burden on the primary sandwich maker, whose productivity was visibly hampered by the unfulfilled prerequisite tasks. Wife liked her steak one, but said it needed ALOT is seasoning, it almost had none. She didn't just want to add salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, paprika. I don't think she was thrilled with it. The chicken salad, however, was really good. We were disappointed that bags is chips were the only sides with combos. Just like Subway. Nothing unique? TBH, my order is one that annoys some "sandwich artists" and I am always extremely grateful when I don't get a dirty look or a grunt of annoyance when I order. The folks handling my food made my 12" Veggie Delight on Whole Grain Flatbread, toasted (with the green peppers and jalapeños already on it, please) without being phased! They were awesome! My food tasted fresh and great, and they remembered to offer me chips and a drink (I usually only get it when they offer), so I left full and satisfied. Their unsweetened iced tea was fresh and tasted great - this is a weirdly common thing for restaurants around here to do poorly... I think they don't always bother rebrewing regularly since it's not very popular. Their tables, floors, and even the bathroom were much cleaner than last time. Much improved! A gentleman (I'm not sure if he was the manager or owner) kept apologizing for the wait and even offered me a free cookie for the inconvenience. I've always chosen Jason's Deli because the food is consistently great and the customer service has always been excellent, but today they went above and beyond.
