    Bottom of the Big Mac

I don't usually write reviews, but this McDonald's has pushed me to do so. Despite its convenient location, it's consistently disappointing. My last visit was the worst yet: indifferent staff, a supervisor who didn't care that my order was incorrect, and an overall lack of professionalism. Sadly, this has become a pattern. Fries are unsalted when you ask for them fresh, burgers are poorly made when it's not busy.

Box proving how much grease was dumped on my burger.

This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. The first time it was bad, I was like okay maybe they were having a bad night. Second chance, still bad, brought the food back to be replaced and the manager on duty acted like it was my fault the food was bad. He replaced the food, and it was STILL bad. Everything cold, fries had been "refried". Terrible experience. So I didn't go back to this location for like 2 months. On the way home from work today, my daughter wanted McDonald's, so I stopped at this location. I figured it had been a couple of months, maybe they have gotten better. Absolutely not. Have you ever used an air fryer and then seen the grease when you dumped it out? Well that was what was in my burger box. The entire burger was covered in air fryer grease. After one bite I gagged and threw it away. If you are really dead set on getting McDonalds, just drive a few wxtra miles and get the one in Great Bridge, because this one is the worst!

They do not salt their fries. Been here multiple times and they never salt them. Yuck. Why not?...

Not a great experience during our 18October2017 visit at 7:50pm. The shift manager was about as unprofessional as they come. I was told her name was Kia. The entire 10 minutes or so we were there she was using the most vulgar language in front of the customers as it gets. Especially f-bombs. Didn't matter that my 11 year old daughter was right there and heard it all. She was also laughing at "the ridiculousness of the customers". And she was doing that in front of other customers. The young fella at the register wasn't very helpful either. He said his name was Kobe. Of course, nobody had name tags so I took pictures so everyone can see what poor customer service looks like. When asked for numbers and the store manager and owner's names he played dumb and didn't know anything. When we got home and opened our food most of it was smashed flat like a pancake. Sad. :(

    The standards need reviewed.

Battlefield Boulevard, just outside the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. Having visited their Summit Pointe location before, we were pleasantly surprised by just how spacious this café is. The Great Bridge location offers plenty of comfortable seating, making it an ideal place to meet friends, catch up on work, or simply relax with a great cup of coffee. Their retail area is also much larger, featuring an impressive selection of branded T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, coffee beans, and other merchandise for those who want to take a little piece of Pale Horse home with them. We arrived just before the Saturday morning rush, which proved to be perfect timing. No sooner had we settled into our seats with our lattes than a group of nearly thirty people walked through the door. It didn't take long for the shop to become a lively gathering place. Despite the growing crowd, the atmosphere remained welcoming and unhurried. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to enjoy your favorite espresso drink or simply stopping by to grab a coffee on the go, Pale Horse has created an environment that encourages you to stay awhile. In addition to an excellent selection of coffee, espresso, and handcrafted lattes, they also offer a variety of fresh baked goods if you're looking for something to enjoy alongside your drink. One piece of advice: arrive early. Word has definitely gotten out about this place, and it's easy to see why. Even if you happen to visit during a busy period and have to wait a few extra minutes, the quality of the coffee and the friendly atmosphere make it well worth your patience. Pale Horse Coffee continues to prove that great coffee is only part of the experience. Comfortable surroundings, friendly service, and a welcoming community are what keep people coming back--and after this visit, it's easy to understand why. !

I decided on a cup of medium roasted blend. Staff was great and also useful assisting with my choice. They provide samples. They have space to enjoy your cup too. But I got mine to go. I was very happy with the taste and a good price point too. This was not my first time trying them as they offered at some area restaurants like American Brew in VB. I would love to return

There is lots of seating - bars and high tops - and it's a great spot for a morning gathering. There was a meeting in the upstairs loft happening during my visit. The barista who assisted me was working solo. She was super friendly and happy to answer my questions. I was glad to hear they offer decaf espresso. I opted to try one of their seasonal lattes - the Mounds Bar latte with almond milk, mocha and coconut cold foam. It took only a few minutes for my order to be prepared. I did find the drink to be slightly sweet for my taste and would ask for half sweet on my next visit. For the lactose intolerant, they have almond and oat milk options. They also have several pastries and some hot food options to choose from like overnight oats and breakfast burritos from Burrito Perdido. I was really pleased with my recent visit and I'll be happy to come back soon!

I truly enjoyed the Belgian Waffle that comes with their house made mixed berry compote and powdered sugar, along with pure maple syrup, and house whipped cream. I liked how the chilled compote, syrup, and whipped cream were served in separate containers so that I could dip! Nice touch! The Belgian Waffle was fluffy and tasty! The environment didn't appear to be well maintained, and it made the experience feel unsanitary. Good coffee is important, but cleanliness and proper food handling are just as important. I hope they address these issues because the coffee itself has a lot of potential.
