This is typically my go-to Jimmy John's location to order from. It's close enough to my job to make it there for lunch and back or to go to after work if I'm headed somewhere else. This year they have switched it up with their pickle sandwich. They are offering more than just one option unlike last year so I was able to try it. I decided to go with the turkey because typically the turkey tom is my go to and I figured that would be as close enough for me to see if I liked the pickle being the actual bread. I expected for it to be bigger but I guess pickles only come in so many sizes. The pickle definitely took away from the taste of the other toppings and the meat. So I can say it definitely was not for me because I am not a crazy pickle enthusiast. I do have a friend who loves it I'm glad for that. Staying true to the brand, this location is very fast with orders. I believe I only had one issue there and the manager corrected it for me. read more

My wife and I stopped in at Jimmy John's while traveling through Scottsbluff, NE. She ordered a little John, and I got a spicy Italian regular size. Mine was very good, but hers was a joke. One slice of turkey and half a slice of provolone, I went back in and got her a Beach Club which she liked. I wanted to like it here I really did. As soon as I walked in, I could see all the men that worked there their eyes were on me and they were giving me a strange look and looked very unfriendly. I had to use the restroom and I came back and asked for my sandwich. I didn't look as the guy was making it, but he kept looking at my face and looking at my eyes. It was really creepy and they all looked really Unhappy and just staring me down. I took my sandwich and left. When I ate my sandwich, the first part of it was good. The end part of it was good, but in the middle there was some kind of a nasty taste on the turkey like they wiped their ass on it. It was disgusting and I was in shock. I don't know why but every single time I go to this location, they screw with me either Mentally or with my stuff and I don't know why I don't know any of these guys. It's really weird. So if you like your sandwiches to taste like ass, feel free to continue to go here. But I'm not going to come here again. First time ever at JJ as I never thought I'd like a generic cold sub. Well I've changed my mind after ordering the bootlegger club (turkey, roast beef, and cheese). It was tasty and the regular size was pretty filling. There are several free toppings you can add for freshness and texture (the crunchy onions were great). Their chips are also pretty good and really crunchy. There's a good amount of chips in the bag unlike those 1-2 ounce bags with nothing but air. Will check this place out again read more

My company ordered from this Jimmy Johns location for a work lunch. I have to say I was really impressed with the roast beef sandwich I had. There were 5 other options as well, including turkey, BLT, and veggie sandwiches. Additionally, I'm happy to report I'm a BIG FAN of Jimmy John's chips. There were more chips than air in that bag. My recent experience here was very good. It's been a while since I've been here mostly because my local travel has taken me in other directions. I ordered a veggie sub with extra tomatoes, pickles, and Jimmy peppers. The sub was substantial. The guy at the register was nice. For whatever reason, other places don't understand when asking for extra that it means extra. The last few times I've visited other Jimmy John's when I asked for extra tomatoes, they say "it comes with tomato" I say I'm asking for extra tomato. anyway, it was a nice visit. So, my order is taken. I'm never asked if for here or to go. They make my sandwich as I'm ordering so within moments, I'm handed me sandwich wrapped in a receipt. No bag. The cashier never attempted to upsell, I searched around and decided on the combo alone. The kids & straws are not on eye level, so you don't know they are there unless you know there are there. They are affixed on the top of the soda machine. I'm 5'2" so, it's visible to those 6'. As I'm walking out the door holding my sandwich, a bag of chips & drink... I'm asked, do you want a bag? I'm already unimpressed by the basic service and lackluster eye contact. I say no and GTFO of dodge. I'm not interested in interacting or being there any longer than needed. I really wanted a deli sub, fresh. I got a sub. But it was pre-fab. Meat sliced too thick, cheese sliced too thin. They didn't offer and American cold cut. I got an Italian cold cut. The bacon was a very thin microwave version. The sandwich was unseasoned. This tastes like a prepackaged disaster and just gross. I will not come here again. I prefer Jersey Mike's. The meat is thinly sliced, it's fresh. The bacon is real bacon. They season and the veggies have flavor and aren't GMO. Compare my pics of the subs, this one just looks sad & unappreciated. I do not write many reviews but in this case I want to mention the poor service I received a week ago. I wrote to JJ headquarters and they said I would be contacted but never heard from anyone so I decided to write this review. Last week I had a house full of kids and placed a large order online. When I arrived 20 minutes later I was informed that there were no onions or tomatoes so my order was not started. THe manager would be back in 5 minutes with supplies but did not return for 20 minutes. One person started to make my order and the other was making food for walk ins rather than expedite my order. I asked and was told they have to service all customers. Stay away from this location of JJ. I plan not to go to any JJ stores after this experience. read more

The big disappointment this trip was the super duper spicy chicken sandwich they are offering, at $10 for an 8-in sub. Don't be fooled by the photograph on the menu. This concoction came up looking like a sort of insipid tuna salad sandwich. No sign of the avocado and other delights that were offered, and really hardly any chicken at all. My wife got a roast beef sandwich, which came with two whole slices of meat on it. Adding insult to injury, they somehow added a $1.50 bag of chips to my order that I hadn't intended to buy. i have eaten at JJ before and now I try this version in Columbia. I did look at the menu and I did not want bread. I am now moving to a Keto diet and decided to go for the lettuce instead of bread. I really like Jimmy John's, and they are super convenient to my office. I don't even have to wait at a red light to get there. I didn't realize that they were so close until about 3-months after I started working in Columbia, but they are hidden in a small center by the Hampton Inn on the SW corner of Ministrel Way and Snowden River Pkwy. This is a common go to as a lunch option near work, and I usually get the #2 Big John Roast Beef with a bag of the BBQ potato chips. The delivery service is HORRIBLE! My family has tried multiple times to give this business the benefit of the doubt. Each time we ordered a delivery, the delivery would take a long time pushing upwards to an hour. We found out that they use their workers to deliver orders and the system is broken. If they have 10 deliveries and your order is of those 10, their system will alert you that your order is 1 minute away. The problem is, the messaging is only for the first order. So, in essence, you will not receive your order until all others are completed unless your order is higher on their list. Thankfully, it was a cold-cut sandwich and not hot food. Another time, they delivered the wrong chips (sent plain when I ordered jalapeño). We dared to call and tell them that the order did not have the right chips. I expressed that I wished they called to inquire. Nothing more was done so I thought. Well, the next thing that happened was a Jimmy John's driver knocked on the door to collect the plain bag of chips . Keep in mind, we were not aware that they were coming. I mean, I paid for the food and, I let a family member have them. They were petty enough to come and repo the chips. Too many petty instances have happened at this location regarding online orders. It says avocado, but I fail to see any on more than half of this sub and the little bit that did have it is only visible on the wrapping paper.. Also asked for extra lettuce and cucumber since it is just veggies and I get one this ass layer of non-overlapping cucumbers. Mind you this fail of a sandwich cost 14 bucks. If you can't get that simple ass sandwich right that store has a problem. Subway is half the price and twice as bountiful in every way. Only reason it's not 1 star is because it is nicely wrapped. This store is the worst. I put in an order online and never received my order. I called the store and confirmed my order with an employee who said my order had just left. I waited 45 minutes and received nothing. I called the store again and talked to the manager and they said they had no record of my order and that in fact they did not deliver to me. I told the manager that one of their employees had confirmed the order and the manager told me that no one in the store would have done that.
