Ok, so I order at 8:12 on Sunday night. Store closes at 9:00. Hail butt from Bush, Louisiana(17 miles away through construction) . Arrive 8:40pm to have the staff tell me they tried to call me twice to let me know they were out of French bread. $30 order. No food. Canceled my order but they offered to make it on wheat bread. If we wanted wheat bread, or an unwich we would have ordered that. No missed calls. No voicemails. No actual communication with to me what so ever. Absolutely furious. Wasted 34 mile round trip. $7.00 in fuel. More importantly 50 minutes of my life I can never get back. Allegedly processed refund. No evidence of it but never again 1111 Greengate Dr. I eat Jimmy John's a lot as I travel for work but my hometown store is pathetic. Avoid! Hopefully management sees this. I don't know how the hell you mess up this bad. I spent nearly twenty dollars on a sandwich, drink, chips, and their kickin ranch, only to wait nearly an hour for it to be delivered. I called to try and find out the issue, only to learn they don't have their own delivery drivers anymore!? Then when it finally arrived, my sandwich was missing everything but the bread and the meat! I called AGAIN trying to see if I can get a refund, since their app doesn't have an option to report anything wrong with your food, but they said all they could offer was CREDIT! This location is hands down the worst experience for Jimmy Johns. Every time i order ahead for a pick up, i show up at least 15 minutes later and the staff is standing around talking and have not even started my order. I have seen clocked in staff on their laptop at a table doing homework and they have gotten up to make my sandwich without washing their hands. Overall staff is rude, unprofessional, and unsanitary. Lobby closed, had to wait 20 min in drive-thru line for online order...no warning on app. Not the end of the world if my order...but wait; One sub I asked to be cut in half and added bacon and paid for it (confirmed in order history)...no bacon ND not cut in half. The second sub I added avocado. I could just make it out with a magnifying glass. Too many better choices in town to put up with that. read more

Have been to jJ in Muriel's locations. The staff on hwy 21 are very polite and our orders are always correct

I experienced 2 employee errors from one order at this location on 9/29/22. Prior to leaving town for the weekend I ordered on the JJ app. At the drive-thru I told this location that I have a mobile app order for Matthew. I drive away and realized I was handed an order for Matthew J. (not Matthew B.) which was a Club Lulu and not my order of the BBQ Ranch Chicken Crunch. I called the store and was I told to return for the proper order. I picked up the BBQ Ranch Chicken Club and got back on the road. I soon realized that my Wrap was devoid of ANY chicken. No meat! Also the Guacamole Spread I added for additional cost was not in the wrap. I was on the road for vacation and not returning to this location for a third time in one day. I'm a Freaky Fast Rewards member that orders weekly at this location. I am requesting a refund for my purchase because I never actually received my proper order. Staff is trash. I went to order for the first time in Slidell location and the girl at the front who was taking my order was more concerned with another woman's issue instead of letting the other 2 girls handle it. She then walked away saying insert your card(not what was done to the customer in front of me) then I went to the side to get my food where someone else was waiting; same girl offered her a bag multiple times until she got it but with my food she just slammed it on the counter and walked away. Then two other girls were so in depth in their conversation about needing a therapist they didn't notice me standing at the counter to where I had to yell "Where are the napkins?" An adult is definitely needed at this location preferably one with customer service knowledge. I won't be back. read more

I mean no wonder this place has two stars! The fact that these businesses are still requiring you to wear a mask when you walk in is the most ignorant thing imaginable! I think that's what happens when you pay employees minimum wage. Wake up people!! When you really think a little clothe mask is protecting anyone from a "deadly disease?" The funniest thing to me is the fact they ask you to wear a diaper on your face when you walk in and order but yet 4 ft on your right someone is sitting without a mask. Jimmy John's the franchise has great food but this particular location forgets something almost every time I go and they're freaky slow unlike every other jimmy johns I've been to. When asked if the 3 most recent missing items can be brought out to save us from sitting in the long slow line, they replied "we'll try" and never came out. Currently sitting in the line for another 15 min bc, if you choose to park, you'll be blocked in by cars in the long line. read more

Love Jimmy John's. I've never seen a sandwich made any faster. Usually I place my order and by the time I'm done getting my drink the sandwich is ready. They have many different sandwiches as you can image. I can't believe I have never had anything besides the #9. The Italian Nightclub. Salami, capicola and smoked ham. Sooo good! Their bread is fantastic. I could eat here a couple or three times a week. I will say I have started ordering my sandwich WITHOUT oil. They really sop that stuff on and a lot of times you will end up with an oil sandwich. lol The kettle chips are also good. This is a really nice and clean restaurant. I've never seen a dirty table here. The employees are also friendly. They greet and welcome you, and thank you when you leave. They also deliver! It's like they rush only to always screw up! If you can't work effectively and efficiently fast...SO DOWN! I've had Jimmy Johns several times over the last 10 years in several different cities. They have always been consistent with quality and quantity. So when I saw one opened in my hood, I couldn't wait to take my taste buds on a trip to Chi-town. The Covington location did not have the same quality and quantity of the other locations I've visited (Chicago, Philadelphia, etc). My all-time favorite, #9 , Italian night club was more lettuce than meat. Very disappointing. My sandwich was considerably smaller than any other I've ever had at other locations. The guy working the register wasn't the friendliest either. Not mentioning names . None of the garbage cans had bags in them. I was forced to leave my trash on the table. Maybe it was a fluke or bad timing? Lunch time?! I'll give it another shot oneday when I get over this experience. Bread was good, but it was shorter than usual. read more

Today was my first visit to a Jimmy John's as there are so many restaurants to choose from in the Covington/Mandeville area. I let the employee know it was my first visit and she gave me a primer on most popular sandwiches, which ones had more meat, etc. She was very personable and made suggestions. I got my sandwich, chips and drink to go and when I got home, the sandwich was better than Subway with regards to quantity of ingredients, but not as good as what I have had in a comparable sandwich at Which wich. The bacon on the sandwich was soggy instead of crisp. Bottom line: I probably wouldn't go back as there are other sandwich places I like better, although service was very good. read more

My coworkers and I were so excited when this location opened up. It's less than 3 miles from our office right up the road on hwy 190. We tried to call and order and they don't deliver "this far". They don't go north on 190 past the racetrac. We are less than 3 miles away and they don't deliver??? There are tons of office buildings around us and that's lost business. Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered online super fast and easy delivered within 10 minutes to my work very nice! However the food itself was average. I got the "Big John" and with a name like that I expected more... Great tasting but for $10 after delivery charge and tip I would have thought more meat would be on it.. Tasty but not what I expected given the BIG name.great service though. read more

The customer service was awful, to start. The guy who took my order was so unhelpful and unfriendly. My sandwich was totally unworthy of what i paid. The bread was cold and hard and the only thing that gave my sandwich any flavor was the Italian dressing that was on it. Other than that it was completely plain in taste. I basically ate a lettuce sandwich. I also asked if it was possible to heat my sandwich, as they advertised hot sandwiches on the door, and was told no, they couldn't do that.
