A weak, meatless, overpriced Jimmy John sandwich that I'll never eat again.

What a huge letdown this location was. The staff weren't very friendly at all, just a bunch of dudes who hate their lives or something, but the worst part, what a terrible ripoff! We paid almost $90 for my wife and three girls to eat lunch. And they barely gave us any meat in our sandwiches, and we all left hungry which is a huge no-no in my book. Won't be back here ever again!

The single lousiest jimmy johns I've ever visited. Ordered a full size #1 Pepe It was to be split into two similar ham and cheese sandwiches. The first was plain. No condiments, only ham and the cheese, done. The other side was with everything plus hot peppers. The pricing I realized after walking away and seeing the receipt was GIANT. SEE PHOTO. One photo is the as viewed, the other is opened. I didn't bother taking photo of the plain empty version because it's the same practically. When I inquired upon seeing the wrapped thin sandwich's why a full size #1 Pepe and what amounted to the other half, which was a "slim" That my sandwiches totaled +$20. I wasn't given an answer of any kind of satisfaction. $14 vs $20 was my estimated variance. It was when I was at my home that I saw the puny sandwiches and the receipt that it came clear. I made a error in ordering and instead of being a food service worker who has an interest in making the customer happy, the food service worker made the commerce aspect of the job the priority. This JIMMY JOHNS was a place, years ago I probably wrote glowingly about, today however I'm attempting to spread the word that this is a JIMMY JOB HNS to be AVOIDED. If there's any question about the actual store, it's the one in Federal Way near the Black Angus, along 320th.

Sunday afternoon, 12:30pm. One customer orders one sandwich ahead of our order of four sandwiches. Took 20+ minutes and came out pretty rough. Tasted fine, but won't be returning to this location.

I had a special, a chicken ceasar wrap. It was great! Fresh cooked chicken and lots of lettuce. Loved it. My other had a French dip. He said fir the money one of the best he can remember. I am leaving this one-star review because of an incident I experienced at Joe's Deli on 08/27/2026,…read moreat approximately 01:40pm. I entered the restaurant to pick up an Uber Eats order that clearly displayed my name, "Stephen Y". Shortly after entering, an Asian female employee repeatedly called out "Pua" while indicating toward me. I initially did not respond because Pua is not my name. I told her that I was picking up an order for Stephen and showed her my phone, but she continued saying "Pua" and then showed me my Uber Eats order. I accepted the order and left because I did not immediately process what she was calling me. Shortly afterward, I realized that Pua is the pig character from Disney's Moana. As a Samoan man, I found this racially degrading, humiliating, and extremely offensive. I returned to the restaurant and reported what happened to another employee. She identified the employee involved as Yun or Yung, or a similar-sounding name, and told me the owner would be there the following morning. I also told a Samoan colleague what happened. She called Joe's Deli and spoke directly with the employee involved. The employee claimed that she had said "Uber", not "Pua". However, I distinctly heard her repeatedly say "Pua," even after I showed her that my name was Stephen. The following morning, 08/28/26, at approximately 09:37am, I returned and spoke with the owner for about five minutes. He identified himself as the employee's son. He defended his mother, attributed the incident to a language barrier, and said she did not know that Pua referred to a pig or that it would be offensive to a Samoan person. He also said she did not know how to pronounce "Uber", apparently contradicting what she told my colleague. I explained that my name was clearly displayed on the order and that if she could not pronounce "Stephen," she could have simply said "Uber" or just waved me down and showed me my order. There was some back-and-forth, but the owner continued defending his mother and maintained that she was not racist. Even if I give her the benefit of the doubt and accept that she genuinely mispronounced "Uber" and had no racist intent, it does not change how degrading the experience was. A mistake can still cause racial harm. The appropriate response should have included acknowledgment, concern, and an apology, not immediately dismissing my experience and making excuses. I reported the incident because it needed to be acknowledged and addressed, not because I wanted anything from the business or wanted anyone to get in trouble. The so-called "language barrier" still ended up being a disrespectful experience. Anyway, should the owner read this, next time, advise your mother that Maui would have been better to be called than Pua.

I prefer freshly sliced deli meats over those pre-sliced, packaged cold cuts, hands down! Most of the meats are imported from the EU. The first thing I am definitely lost without a Google lens here. However I came here with a Russian speaking friend so I already had great guide. I actually loved the variety here - many unique tea - I will certainly try them next time. The Halva and chocolate assortment is really unique here. I got some Ukrainian Marshmallow - umm I don't know if I liked it - it was too sweet. However the eggplant jar - that was sooo good. Absolutely loved it. One thing is for sure I can go anywhere in world and food will be better than American and British. I wanted to try bread but since it was evening the stock was almost empty. I did got a buckwheat bread which is interesting. The place can definitely benefit from a ambience upgrade - feels little messy and can use some organization. Otherwise a top spot !

Pictured are my favorite sandwiches (the monte cristo and nutty chicken) and the complimentary side I always get (Caprese skewers). I always enjoy a good Monte Cristo but this one is especially tasty thanks to that creamy and dreamy Brie cheese that pairs so well with the turkey and berry chutney! It tastes heavenly! The nutty chicken is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else- it's chicken teriyaki with dill, peanuts, pineapple, lettuce and tomato on swirled rye bread and while that may sound wild, it is called the nutty chicken after all and it's wildly delicious!! Unless you're deathly allergic to peanuts or anything different and exciting, you have to get this sandwich at least once. If you're one of the unadventurous nay-sayers I guess that's okay...I'm sure Bigfoot doesn't believe in you either :P The little caprese skewers you can get with the sandwiches are so stinkin' cute and yummy as well ! Such a nice healthy mini snack. They also make a mean Nutella Banana Sammich for the kiddos...when I'm out of Nutella or just too lazy to make it myself, I like to order those for my triplets Simon, Alvin and Theodore. In conclusion, this deli makes sandwiches that'll have you asking "where have you been all my life?!?" So what are you waiting for? Go try one, or two, or three of 'em for yourself ;)
