I order Jimmy John's frequently when working, because in the medical field lunch is a suggestion. Jimmy John's is pretty much exactly what you would expect, they are very three star sandwiches. I qualify them as sustenance, but not anything astounding to the taste buds. If you like any amount of spice in your meal these sandwiches is not for you. However I would not say they are bad, just uninteresting. Delivery times vary, I would say expect a 15 to 20 minute delivery time depending on where you are. Ordered a couple of sandwiches on the app. Yo be ready when I arrived. At 230 pm . When I got there it was not very busy there were about 5 people in the store. I saw what looked like 10 sandwiches just sitting on the counter not in bags or on a tray. I waited a few minutes and then asked if they made my order they said they were working on it. After 15 minutes and still not hearing my order, I looked at the pile of sandwiches and noticed mine being amongst the one pushed off to the side, I then asked for a bag to put them in and this seemed to upset the cashier. I'm honestly kind of shocked to see that this location has a 2.6 star rating on Yelp. I've had nothing but great experiences here. This Jimmy John's in the highlands is my go to after a workout or a long day at work. The staff is always super friendly, the place is spotless every time I walk in, and the service is consistently fast. I usually order online for pickup, and not only have they never messed up my order, but it's always ready in like half the time it says it'll take. I've also eaten in a few times and had no complaints just quick, easy, and solid food when I need it. Not sure what other people are running into, but for me this location has been super reliable. Walked in on a Sunday at 2 pm with no other customers in the restaurant and tried to order 7 sandwiches for a bunch of hungry kids after a basketball game. Was very rudely told by an employee that it wasn't allowed because they didn't have enough bread and I can't be taking all their bread. I see a rack full of bread with way more than enough to make 7 sandwiches (more like dozens of sandwiches) and I said "do you guys already have orders to fulfill and you've run out of bread for those?" Because then maybe I could understand. The curt answer was "no- we've been busy and you can't order 7 sandwiches and take our bread". I asked if I could at least order 5 for the hungry kids and they said "fine but you're pushing it". Then other people proceeded to walk in behind me and their orders were taken without any sort of comment about too many sandwiches or running out of bread. Ordered a sandwich for delivery and waited 45 minutes (I live about 5 minutes away). Eventually I called the location and they said the delivery is out of their hands because they use DoorDash, and that I should contact DoorDash to find my order. There is no way to contact DoorDash without having an order in progress and it wasn't registered to me in the app. The location voided my order and refunded me and sent another of the same sandwich - which also never arrived. They claim they have no way to contact the delivery driver or customer service. So basically, if you are a DoorDash delivery driver, this would be a great way for you to get a free sandwich because no one will ever be able to figure out what happened. read more

I work nearby and stopped into this Jimmy Johns to pick up a sandwich. I was the only customer in the store. As I walked in I was immediately asked what I wanted. I said I'd be ready in a minute. A second worker asked me what I wanted seconds later. I was still deciding as I perused the menu. I'm not a frequent customer and don't have the menu memorized. I said I wasn't ready only to be asked a third time in a matter of seconds. When I said I'll be right get with you, the gentleman said "why don't you order one of everything on the menu. His counterpart assured him that I could manage to eat every sandwich on the menu they had a good laugh at my expense. I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I do t expect to be mocked. We'll I put my order in for ONE sandwich. I almost walked out but I was hungry and short on time. I was then questioned about my employer as I was wearing my work ID and I was asked if my employer had recovered from their craziness? Odd question but in its usual manner, the sandwich was delivered with alacrity and I was on my way. About 12 dollars for a sandwich. Steady but not spectacular. So today is "Customer Appreciation Day" at Jimmy John's, and most subs are being sold for a buck. What a deal! So I decided to venture to this site in the Issaquah Highlands on my lunch break (my office is by the Issaquah Post Office, and I'm not familiar at all with the Highlands area). I found it! (Thanks, GPS!). There was a long line outside the store, but it was moving fast, and for $1 subs, hey, who can complain? Once inside, I ordered my BLT and I have to admit, they move super fast here: not only did the line move fast, but watching the guy make my sandwich, I had to wonder, how on earth does he work so fast and not sever an appendage or something with the sharp knife he's wielding? I for one could NOT work that fast without risking life and limb. I looked around. The restaurant was large, much larger than other JJ's I've been to. And clean, with a lot of light from the windows. And the gal who took my order, and the guy who made my sandwich were really nice. How they could all be so pleasant on such a busy day for them defies logic. My sandwich was great, too! Fresh bread, very light mayo, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, good bacon, extra cucumbers. Delicious. And the fact that they have these special days where they sell their subs for $1 is incredibly nice. Staff lied. I submitted my order at 6:45pm. I called 30 minutes later and was told that my driver was out and I was the next stop. No food. My family and I were super impressed with their above and beyond customer service! We placed an online order for 4 sandwiches and a 1/4 pickle. A few minutes later we got a voicemail letting us know they were out of pickles and they were going to comp the whole order! I would reiterate some of other reviews that there are sometimes longer than expected rates for Jimmy John's, mostly during lunch and dinner rushes.
