Fried rice. Ordered crab fried rice however I received a side of soft shell crab.

I ordered from Thai House Street Eats a while back on Uber Eats, and I had an overall okay experience. While the food wasn't necessarily anything to write home about, the spice levels were definitely outstanding compared to other Thai establishments. I personally love anything and everything spicy, so I was able to overlook the dry pad see ew and the overall bland flavor of the fried rice because the spiciness of the food was right on par with my preferred spice level. I'd possibly reorder again if I'm craving Thai food and my usual spots aren't available.

These crispy spicy Thai wings are not smoky at all and seem to be bagged freezer wings. No bone even. This is a box of nuggets for $15. That's a rip off. Bummer. The crying tiger is pricey but the steak was very tender and huge! I would order that again.

This is my second review for Thai house street eats... we ordered the beef salad minus the basil and it was fresh and had a good flavor. The lunch special green curry with chicken was very tasty , I just wished it had more eggplant than chicken. The overall experience of eating there is awesome, so cute and cozy. I'll be back to have my favorite Phad Thai next time!!!! Oh and the customer service???perfect!

Not sure what I expected when we walked in to Thai Street Eats. Sat down and found it interesting that they actually have a happy hour still going on a Sunday night. We decided to go with some crispy dumplings that was entirely reminiscent of the frozen bagged versions from 99 Ranch market not too far away. Disappointing to say the least. I went with the Chicken Pad Thai, which I perhaps ignorantly feel defines a Thai restaurant. Overall it had all of the elements to a good pad thai. The noodles were well cooked with a nice chew to it and the sauce was not overly "peanuty". Touch on the sweet side but what flavor there was, it was not terrible. In my opinion, where this dish lacks is depth, almost like everything was just combined at the last minute and served. This sentiment carries over to the Panang Curry that we also had. The chicken within was over cooked and just lacked any seasoning or flavor. The service was really great. Cordial and pleasant we were asked if we were okay several times and checked up on. We were fine, just disappointed. A three star to me means I won't be back but if they were at an event or some sampling place I would give them another taste.

Definitely worth going. This will become my go to Thai place. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is very nice. My favorite where the sausage and pad see ew. Great portions.

I had lunch here two weeks in a row, and both times were great! On this visit, I ordered the curry lunch special ($14). It came with yellow curry (I chose vegetables as my protein), rice, a salad, and two spring rolls. The curry was flavorful with the perfect spice level--I ordered it spicy, and it had just the right kick without being overwhelming. The potatoes in the curry were slightly undercooked, but overall the dish was still enjoyable. The salad was fresh, the spring rolls were a nice addition, and the portions were filling for the price. Service was excellent as well. There was only one lady working the whole front of the shop, but she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the food was good, reasonably priced, and worth coming back--I've already been twice!

Back again! I just can't have enough crying tiger and the sauce these give! The curry is also very delicious! Great job cooks and staff!

DoorDash had a BOGO deal on Green Curry, which was perfect because I need at least two to be full. I got both with chicken and they were perfect. The eggplant, bell pepper, and basil were equally delicious, but my favorite was how tender & flavorful the eggplant was.

This is my Thai food place to go. Outstanding service, Excellent food quality. Generous serving. Will come back soon.

Seriously the smallest portion of chicken I have ever been served. Pad Thai had almost ZERO chicken. For $18.77 this is not acceptable.

I had been wanting you to try this place for a while now. So I uber ordered some food from my job and omg! The food is as I expected! On Uber they had this offer of by one get one free. I got two padthai chicken dishes and crispy chicken dumplings! Amazing! I had leftovers for 3 days and shared some of it! Still good the next day! If you physically decide to eat there I'm sites you'll love it! Very clean and very attentive. Very chill vibes!

I was craving mango sticky rice and this place definitely satisfied that craving . The mango sticky rice rice was 10/10 and the server was really nice . I always uber eats food from here but today I went and sat inside it's so cute and has some much authentic culture inside I would love to go back and bring some friends and eat a full meal here

Service was great! Food was fresh, well seasoned and portions were good. Perhaps it's what I ordered and should have stuck to the street food. I'll give it another try, this time I'll stick to the street food

Thai Original BBQ, Cerritos -- I am awash with nostalgia whenever I visit the Artesia/Cerritos area…read more-- home to a vibrant Filipino community, and where I lived on-and-off for nearly a decade. It's here that I welcomed the familiar comfort foods from home, and I'm in one of my favorite restaurants: Thai Original BBQ. Its name says Thai, but over time its food has evolved to skew subtly toward a Filipino palate that balances sweet, sour, salty, umami flavors, with a mild level of spice. I wondered: how far has it veered off Thai Town's flavor baseline? Entering the place is like getting into a time capsule -- its décor is exactly the same as when I first ate here 41 years ago. The long saltwater aquarium is still there, as are the same red vinyl cushioned booths. But the carpeting is noticeably threadbare, and the starched white table linens are long gone, revealing washed-out Formica. Thai Original BBQ is known for its single-plate meals featuring proteins and vegetables over sweetish rice stir-fried in Nam Prik Pao, resulting in its orange color. Tonight's dinner was our time-tested reliables: the Combination Soup, Satay Dinner, and Chicken Ruby Dinner. The combination soup was served in a fire pot. Its comforting stock is translucent, with no visible scum - packed with umami from the fish sauce and heaped with pieces of chicken, pork, shrimp, and vegetables. So comforting, even on a warm night! The satay dinner consists of eight skewers of thinly sliced flank steak, grilled to perfection, with a sweet-spicy and creamy peanut dipping sauce. And the Chicken Ruby dinner was impressive -- a whole Cornish hen, stuffed with a sausage made from a mixture of pork, rice, and glass noodles, then deep-fried whole. This delectable dish will make the "Colonel" tap out. These dishes are how I remember them -- and they bring back so many fond memories of family get-togethers. Eating here turns every meal into a mindful event. My wife and I hardly spoke to each other while eating - it wasn't being rude at all. The silence came from a quiet joy -- from something familiar, from something comforting. Thai Original BBQ did not veer as far from what we've always welcomed as Thai as I had wondered. In many ways, Thai food is similar to Filipino food: a balance of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy elements. Fish sauce is foundational to both cuisines, providing saltiness and umami, while coconut juice, palm sugar, and tamarind bring sweetness and sourness. Thai Original BBQ is really a taste of home. Five stars -- no asterisk, no hesitation.

The Pad Thai is honestly the best I've ever had. Even looking at the plate, the color alone makes you hungry. It has great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The chicken curry is also excellent. The flavor is rich and deep, and the chicken is incredibly tender--it practically falls off the bone. The service is another reason I came back. The staff checks on you regularly, and anything we requested was brought out right away. The restaurant is a bit small, so there may be a wait during busy times, but it's absolutely worth it. I also noticed a steady stream of to-go orders, which says a lot about how popular this place is. Definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants, and I'll be coming back again!

This is defintely the best Thai food in the area. It hits your tastebuds harder than Hulk smashing Loki. The curries are rich in flavor and the noodles are perfectly cooked,, the texture is just spot on. I feel like Doctor Strange when I eat here just experiencing all the different flavor timelines at once. The Pad Kra Pow is superb and the seafood is just divine! But here is the real superpower. they can make dishes with absolutely no sugar! I usually keep a pretty close eye on carbs and sugar, so finding a spot that does this is huge. Most places can't do that cause their curries are pre-prepped like mass-produced Ultron bots. But Original Thai makes it to order from scratch. It is like Shuri customizing your gear right in the Wakandan lab. The ladies here are super friendly and treat you like family.. Prices are very reasonable so you don't need Tony Stark money to eat like a king. Food and service are wonderful. Highly recomended.

I've been coming to this location for the past 4 years and have tried many different dishes but my go-to dishes are the Yellow Curry and Garlic Pepper Chicken. The portions are big enough to share and the rice is always spot on with the meat dishes. They have the pickled chili on the table and offer additional hot sauces if needed. The location is on the smaller size with limited seating but the turnaround wait for food is quick so whether you wait to dine in or take it home it'll be worth it.
