I found out about it while enjoying lunch buffet that it's a separate stand-alone café in its soft-opening phase. They offer fresh made modern Vietnamese coffee, sugarcane juice, coconut water, and Bánh Mì. I ordered the Matcha Sugarcane ($6.49), which was refreshingly delicious, lightly sweet, and balanced, even though I'm not usually a matcha fan, this was a pleasant surprise. Super attentive, friendly service, and so patience with all my questions about their drinks since it's still in soft opening phase. Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you, check them out! Location perks: about a 15-minute drive from both The Strip and Chinatown, and close to UNLV. Parking: free in the strip mall lot. Opens 7 days a week which is convenient for your craving. I was told by a staff member of Kusina Ni Lorraine Buffet that Manny Pacquiao's and Jo Joy eat their buffet every time they come to Vegas and their photos with the owner are posted on their entrance wall. I asked to see it and only saw what supposedly Manny's mother. I can't confirm it since I don't know what Manny's mom looks like so you have to find out about that yourself. Great sandwich! I have to come back and try the coffee!! I got the chicken Banh mi which was stuffed with chicken! The employee hooked me up! It was delicious!! I couldn't even finish it and had to save for later. Service was quick! Staff was nice. She knew the menu well and let me even have a taste test with the drinks before I committed. I love that! Very friendly! Ambiance is only but a bit confusing. They are like giving classy vibes but don't really have the cash flow vibe. It's next to kusina ni Lorraine..and it's in front of the Kusina's little mart. The furniture is dirty which needs to get cleaned or replaced! The location is not the best. It's in the plaza of Kusina ni Lorraine...trying to be classy in the neighborhood is not going to work. This place needs to be in spring valley or southwest. That's just my opinions. You'll find them across the street from Boulevard Mall, at the Regency Plaza, they're next to Kusina Ni Lorraine Filipino Buffet. The strip plaza has a one way limited parking. Inside the shop is a casual atmosphere with a few seating and EDM music playing. Menu offers flavored drinks for Vietnamese coffee, sugarcane juice, coconut water, matcha, as well as egg rolls, banh mi sandwich, chicken curry, and beef stew. They have a good selection of banh mi sandwich, and Sin City is their most popular item. I wanted to try a sandwich but they sold out on the small bread ($6.99), and only have large bread ($9.49) available which I know is a big portion and can be very filling. So I chose a light snack instead for Chicken Eggroll ($1.95) and Crab Eggroll ($1.95), both egg rolls are nice and crispy! I paired the snack with Matcha Cloud Coconut Water (12 ounce, $6.50), this drink usually comes with heavy cream to create the matcha foam, but Kailey made it without heavy cream, so that matcha blends nicely with coconut water, it's very light, smooth, and refreshing! I also tried Hot Vietnamese Coffee ($4.95), very rich, creamy, and sweet with condensed milk. I kindly asked Kailey for a cup of ice and then poured in the coffee. Vietnamese coffee is pretty strong but has good flavor, and adding ice actually helps cut through the richness making it pleasant and cooling, it's good! Service from Kailey is kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly. She is so polite and courteous in answering questions about the menu. I also met John, and asked if he was the owner, he was nice and open to feedback. John recommended crème brulee and banana Vietnamese coffee, it's one of the popular drinks to try! read more

This is my second time coming here. I fell in love with the banana coffee and beef stew I ordered last. I went to get my coworker and I a Banh mi sandwich. Off the bat, the smell was rancid. I'm not talking about the daikon that's layered but the meat. I ate about 1/3 of the sandwich. The chicken smelled spoiled. I had to stop eating it bc idk if the meat was old. The portion is huge but something is off about the meat. I'm monitoring my health to ensure that I won't get sick. My husband and I stumbled across the new location of whip x on accident but I'm glad we did. We're familiar with the Chinatown location so we already knew what we wanted as far as banh mi's. The staff (who I think were the owners) were so kind enough to offer us a free sugarcane drink to try and it was delicious! (Would choose it over the banana matcha I got. The meat was good. The pork belly skin was crispy and the sauce was delicious. The problem was the pickled carrots and daikon, which was not tangy at all. Did they forget to add vinegar when pickling them? Not sure, but good pickled vegetables is such a non-negotiable in a banh mi to me. It tasted like..nothing :( Please check your pickled veggies are pickled before using them. The salted egg coffee was VERY sweet, and the coffee itself was not strong. Vietnamese coffee is supposed to be strong! It tasted like a dessert more than a coffee. I went here with a banh mi and vietnamese coffee craving, and left dissatisfied. :( read more

Let's start with the fact that I'm Vietnamese. This coffee and sandwich shop was horrific. The smell inside was rancid which should have been when I walked out but I didn't want to be rude so I decided to order. I got the classic small sandwich, my sister got the pork belly sandwich. We also got the Bo Kho with baguette on the side and two drinks. They forgot the vegetables on my classic sandwich, the meat smelled old, no flavor, and I threw the whole sandwich away after one bite. The pork belly as you can see in the picture looks awful and tasted that way too. There was only 2-3 pieces of meat, also tasted old. The sandwich bread was not fresh and cold. Basically everything was terrible. I spent approximately $48 for 2 people and ended up throwing everything away. I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses, especially Vietnamese owned, but this place was absolutely the worse I've tasted in Las Vegas. read more

My go to sugar cane spot is in Garden Grove, CA so I've been looking for a good sugar cane spot here in Vegas but haven't been satisfied with what I've tried. I was excited to see this spot connected to Kusina Ni Lorraine. I already planned to get drinks after eating, but the locations are connected so the owner came by a drop off a menu which made it easier to figure out what I wanted. After talking to the owner, I learned that the coffee and sugar cane is from Vietnam. I got to try the kumquat sugar cane and pandan coffee and they are very great quality drinks.
