Great sandwich! I have to come back and try the coffee!! I got the chicken Banh mi which was stuffed with chicken! The employee hooked me up! It was delicious!! I couldn't even finish it and had to save for later. Service was quick! Staff was nice. She knew the menu well and let me even have a taste test with the drinks before I committed. I love that! Very friendly! Ambiance is only but a bit confusing. They are like giving classy vibes but don't really have the cash flow vibe. It's next to kusina ni Lorraine..and it's in front of the Kusina's little mart. The furniture is dirty which needs to get cleaned or replaced! The location is not the best. It's in the plaza of Kusina ni Lorraine...trying to be classy in the neighborhood is not going to work. This place needs to be in spring valley or southwest. That's just my opinions. No one was there during lunch! You competing with kusina's buffet next door!! lol

Really good drinks! Stopped by after we had Malatown next door and it was really good. I got the sugarcane drink with coconut water and also the Pandan cloud. Sugarcane drink was interesting but good. And the Pandan cloud was my favorite. Overall very good drinks and good service.

This is my second time coming here. I fell in love with the banana coffee and beef stew I ordered last. I went to get my coworker and I a Banh mi sandwich. Off the bat, the smell was rancid. I'm not talking about the daikon that's layered but the meat. I ate about 1/3 of the sandwich. The chicken smelled spoiled. I had to stop eating it bc idk if the meat was old. The portion is huge but something is off about the meat. I'm monitoring my health to ensure that I won't get sick. I really like this place and hope it isn't the case. *Update: John was attentive and took in my concerns. Thank you for assisting me and recommending me more flavor coffees to try. Definitely try the salted egg foam coffee!!

Hidden gem alert! Whip X Bánh Mì absolutely nails the balance between modern flair and authentic Vietnamese flavor. The bánh mì was next-level -- crispy, airy baguette, packed with juicy grilled pork, crunchy pickled veggies, and that perfect drizzle of house sauce that ties everything together. Every bite had texture and punch. Hubby LOVES The Sin City, what's more proper name than that whole in Vegas, right! He devoured it in a heart beat. Their Vietnamese coffee was rich, bold, and slightly sweet, exactly how it should be to kickstart a Vegas morning. But the real surprise? The fresh sugarcane drink, ice-cold, naturally sweet, and add passion fruit, voila, so refreshing in the desert heat. The space is cute and modern with a fun local vibe, and the staff are genuinely friendly. You can tell they take pride in every drink and sandwich they make. Perfect stop for anyone craving a quick, flavorful meal before hitting the Strip again. Vegas needed this kind of authentic-meets-trendy spot. They also DoorDash too, perfect hangover food and drink, also so pack with rote in and veggies! You will thank me later :-)

My husband and I stumbled across the new location of whip x on accident but I'm glad we did. We're familiar with the Chinatown location so we already knew what we wanted as far as banh mi's. The staff (who I think were the owners) were so kind enough to offer us a free sugarcane drink to try and it was delicious! (Would choose it over the banana matcha I got. Overall, I enjoy eating whip x's banh mi's. The bread is soft but crunchy and holds all the fixings! Would recommend if your in the area of Maryland parkway or Chinatown!

    They just opened last week.

I was at Kusina No Loraine and notice this new spot so I dropped in for some sugarcane juice. It was very refreshing and quick service. I have been to their China town location. This is nice to now have them on this side of town near UNLV. I'll have to come back and try their food because I'm full from the buffet this time.

Bo kho. The meat was tough and no flavor at all

Let's start with the fact that I'm Vietnamese. This coffee and sandwich shop was horrific. The smell inside was rancid which should have been when I walked out but I didn't want to be rude so I decided to order. I got the classic small sandwich, my sister got the pork belly sandwich. We also got the Bo Kho with baguette on the side and two drinks. They forgot the vegetables on my classic sandwich, the meat smelled old, no flavor, and I threw the whole sandwich away after one bite. The pork belly as you can see in the picture looks awful and tasted that way too. There was only 2-3 pieces of meat, also tasted old. The sandwich bread was not fresh and cold. Basically everything was terrible. I spent approximately $48 for 2 people and ended up throwing everything away. I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses, especially Vietnamese owned, but this place was absolutely the worse I've tasted in Las Vegas.

Whip located across from BLvd mall on Maryland Pkwy. It connects to the Kusina Ni Lorraine. It has a waiting area and chairs to enjoy your food. We meet the owner very friendly and help us with recommendations. We ended up getting Sin City small and Vietnamese coffee. I would definitely be back to try other drinks and sandwiches they offer.

My go to sugar cane spot is in Garden Grove, CA so I've been looking for a good sugar cane spot here in Vegas but haven't been satisfied with what I've tried. I was excited to see this spot connected to Kusina Ni Lorraine. I already planned to get drinks after eating, but the locations are connected so the owner came by a drop off a menu which made it easier to figure out what I wanted. After talking to the owner, I learned that the coffee and sugar cane is from Vietnam. I got to try the kumquat sugar cane and pandan coffee and they are very great quality drinks. Very tasty, not overpowering and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. I'll be coming back again. :) thanks for a great experience.

    Creme brulee coffee

A bit challenging to get to because of the construction on Maryland. They had a nice menu with coffee's and sugar cane drinks, bahn mi's, too. I got the creme brulee coffee with almond milk. And they don't charge for alternate milks!!! Big plus compared to the mermaid shop. Taste: OMG!!! So rich and creamy. Similar to the dessert with a kick of coffee. Flavorful without being overpowering, nice balance of sweetness and caffeine. Will be back to try one of their sugar cane drinks.

Our first time coming in we received great recommendations! I'd recommend the kumquat sugarcane drink. Good service and atmosphere!

    Menu

So good!! I got the tiramisu coffee and it was delicious It came with a cookie you can dip in the soft cream top so that was neat. The service was 10/10 Will definitely be coming back to try the banh mi.

We got the sugarcane (far right) Banana (left) Crème brûlée (second left) Tiramisu (second right)
    Kiarra M.

John recommended the creme brûlée and banana and they were sooo good!! The energy was warm and welcoming. I'm a sucker for Christmas music so expect some tunes through this winter season. Def will have to try their sandwiches next time!!!

Teach your baristas to put a little more care into explaining the coffees on bar and what's available on pour over. I wanted a single-origin coffee so I asked the barista taking my order. She said the espresso wasn't single origin but said they offer single origin pour overs but told me it would take 10-15 minutes. She then handed me a laminated sheet with all of their offerings and I chose the Mexico but she said that's what was on espresso....? I got confused because she told me there wasn't a single origin on espresso? Anyway.... the paper she handed me stated that a pour over will take 3-5 minutes, yet she told me 10-15 minutes twice. So I called the bluff. The place was empty. I ordered the pour over anyway, sat down, and sure enough, my coffee was ready in about 3-5 minutes. It almost seemed like she didn't want to make the pour over because she recommended an americano. Specialty coffee needs more transparency, more education, and more passion. If you're a coffee roaster, your staff should be excited to talk about the coffees they're serving--not discourage people from ordering them. I sensed laziness. If you see a customer struggling to pick a coffee, recommend something that's fruit forward or something that's more classic. Don't wait for the customer to ask, ask THEM what they like and work off the customer. Care a little bit more. This was my first and last impression. Vesta Coffee will be my go-to.

For a coffee shop breakfast item, the big bang burrito was huge! Filled with eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, tater tots, and cheese. The crema sauce served with it was amazing and had a nice spicy kick. They have multiple tables inside, along with a couch in a smaller lounge corner. There are a few tables outside and some concrete stadium seating, but when it's 100+ degrees outside, ain't nobody got time for that! Reviews of this Korean coffee shop were impressive enough for us to give it a try. This "hidden" coffee shop had "speakeasy" vibes as it was a bit hard to find. Online photos led us to a massive, unmarked medieval-style wooden door with an "open" banner. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the interior featured antique furniture, a glass atrium, soaring trees, and a 3-level wooden bookshelf-reading area designed like a grandstand with seating you could climb on. I suggest staying here awhile and enjoy the F&D inside as it is definitely social media worthy and a gem in LV's Chinatown. After saving our spot, the gang proceeded to order from the long queue at the bar area. Took photos and marveled at this cozy cafe while waiting for our assortment of coffees and baked goodies to arrive. I had The Gäbi (dry cappuccino topped with raw sugar and espresso grounds) while my wife opted for the velvety Einspänner. We shared a Berry Ricotta Brioche. I was able to taste the other artisan pastries (Ube Mille Cake, Tiramisu Croissant and Strawberry Shortcake to name some) from our group and they were as good as they looked. The only complaint is the pricier bill than what other coffee shops might charge. I guess this view is at a cost then. First time trying in a Korean coffee shop and we loved it! We would definitely return if we're in this neck-of-the-woods again.

I didn't even bother reading reviews beforehand, I just went and honestly I'm so glad I did because this ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the trip. The parking lot itself was pretty quiet, but there was a steady flow of people going in and out which is usually a good sign. Inside there's plenty of seating and it definitely felt like one of those cafes that could easily become a study/work spotor casual hangout place. I was also really impressed by how big their menu was. They had acai bowls, sandwiches, burritos, toast, milk teas, espresso drinks, and even a jasmine mule that immediately caught my attention. Their mint mojito latte sounded really good too, but I ended up deciding to try a couple drinks from the seasonal menu instead. We got the tiramisu matcha latte and the banana foster latte. The employees were super friendly and checked in to see if we needed help deciding, which honestly felt extra appreciated after being in the car for that long. Our drinks came out pretty quickly and the very first thing I noticed was the cream-to-drink ratio. When I say these drinks were loaded with cream top. I mean loaded. My tiramisu matcha was probably like 20% cream and the banana foster looked almost half cream at first glance. The cream itself is super thick too, not one of those light cold foams that disappears after two sips. But honestly? That tiramisu matcha latte might've just blown a lot of the matcha spots I've tried in San Diego out of the water. The matcha itself was bold, earthy, and very matcha forward, but that thick tiramisu cream on top cut through it perfectly. It made the drink taste rich without becoming overwhelmingly heavy. I literally kept thinking about this drink for the rest of the trip. The banana foster latte was good too, but definitely more of what you'd expect flavor wise. Caramel banana vibes, smooth espresso, solid overall, but the tiramisu matcha completely stole the spotlight for me. My only complaint is honestly just how thick the cream tops are. They're so dense that you kind of have to stir everything together. I'm usually someone who likes to sip both the foam and drink together at the same time, but that wasn't really possible here because the cream barely moves. Still delicious though. I genuinely wish I grabbed another drink on the drive back home because I have not stopped thinking about that tiramisu matcha since. Next time I'm back in Vegas, this is absolutely a spot I'm returning to.
