I drove into the parking lot and noticed The Habit which I haven't been to in a long, long time. They also have a kiosk where you order your own food. I opted for a steak sandwich w/onion rings and a tropical tea. My grandson the barbecue bacon char-burger w/fries and a blue wave milkshake. I stood at the counter hoping to get the drinks because I was a bit thirsty. I got my wish!!! I took our drinks to the last table inside, there is a lot of seating outside. We waited & waited & waited, I got up and walked to the counter to ask about our order and he checked around and found it. He cook/register clerk said, "they are still working on it!" Well it was another 10 minutes before we got our order. When I go out with my grandchildren I always make sure their food is ordered the way they ordered, I want them to be happy!!! Well, grandma wasn't too happy, first my steak was a little bit too rare and when I bit into it, it was a bit tough but I held onto the meat with my finger so it wouldn't all fall out!!! My opinion rings were on the burnt side. The only thing worth paying for was the tea for my liking. I hate returning food and I know they are on the shirt side so I kept my food. I didn't want wait another 30 minutes then have to eat alone, I do enough of that throughout the week!! The meal (lunch) was $45.09 I don't think I will be back. We noticed customers coming in and then going back out. They told them when they walked in that it was a 25-30 minute wait. They only had four people working behind the counter. I don't know about Lodi, there are only two places out of about two or three restaurants that have given me supreme service: The first:The Velvet Creamery Second: Brick House Restaurant I have tried Chili's, West Coast Sandwich and In & Out and they were terrible.

They were very patient with us when my gf was deciding which sandwich she wanted. When we received our food, the sandwiches were very tasty and were ordered to specifications to what we ordered. To say the least, the bread bowl definitely gives Boudin a run for their money. My gf is now a fan of sourdough bread bowls. As far as cleanliness, the bathroom was decent and sanitary. The dining area was wiped down regularly. The soda fountain area was kept up and neat. If you're looking for something different than Panda Express or The Habit, give this place a chance. Togos is now very pricey and for that there's an expectation that the food will be what I expect. Both days I have ordered the BBQ beef sandwich they have been cold, not lukewarm-cold as if it came out of the refrigerator. The first day I figured it was an error so reluctantly ordered another specifically saying hot. We live 5 minutes away it's summer there is no way a hot sandwich gets home and is cold again. My husband tried to call and you could hear the person on the other end trying to make excuses. I told him to go back and refund them. They ended up making new sandwiches but a different employee who recognized my husband made them. This sounds good except that over 2 days we paid 66.02 for sandwiches to get headaches and extra effort. Of California loses Togos I don't think I will be as upset as I once would have.

We rarely attend funerals/memorials for a 20 year old but we have known this family for at least 25 years. I reached out to the store the man had no idea what I meant by fly eggs but referred me to someone who would handle the complaint. After I reached out, I heard back for them to tell me that, the eggs didnt come from their restaurant.. but that they could refund me for the wings or give me a new order of wings. I chose the refund and I unfortunately will not be returning to this location. While helpful and an overall easy process, this was still very disgusting, unsanitary and made my stomach upset just thinking about if I wouldve eaten one. In no way could it have been my fault - again sealed with the tamper sticker in tact. So just be very careful when you order from here, check your food before you go or choose a different location all together!
