This is a fine example of the greed of middle eastern owners. What was started with a great motive has been ruined. I had the medium steamer. It lacked the meat pictured behind the counter and the fountain was dirty as expected. The Pickle was old and tired. The water to syrup in the fountain dispenser was too much water and very little taste. read more

I just ordered the Firehouse Meatball, provolone and red sauce Sub from GrubHub. They are offering a BOGO at this time! I must say, boy, was it tasty! The sauce was not bland, the meatballs were juicy with good flavor and the bread roll (white) was fresh and held together well with all the ingredients packed in there! I didn't know what I was missing! I just found this place and already I have been back twice this week. My favorite sandwich is their brisket and cheddar but they have multiple that I really enjoy. There is so much meat in every sandwich and the flavors are unique and tasty. The bread is fresh and delicious and I love the crisp pickle spear too! I feel like there are a lot of sandwich places but the quality and quantity at Firehouse so far surpasses most of the other sandwich houses we have tried. They are not even on the same level. That being said it can be pricy for a sandwich here but it is totally worth it! read more

Ordered the French dip and loaded baked potato soup and everything was trash! The sandwich had no meat on it and looked awful and smelled like dog food. The au jus looked like brown water with no flavor at all. The soup was cold and flavorless with no visible pieces of potato or bacon. My first time ever at this location I love how it's so close to Costco. The staff was super friendly. I got the jerk turkey sandwich or something like that. It's amazing I was in and out in the drive-through, but I think it's my first time ever going to a sandwich place with a drive-through I will definitely be back. I went for the Veteran's Day BOGO. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Upon first bite, the mayonnaise squirted out like from a squeeze bottle. I opened the sandwich to hardly see the ingredients but covered with mayonnaise. I didn't ask for extra mayo but for less mustard of which there was none. Eating through the sandwich all I could taste was mayonnaise, not the meat, not the cheese, not the vegetables at all, just mayonnaise. I couldn't even eat half of it as hungry as I was. We just door dashed a sandwich and it was delivered at 11:15am so I'm guessing we are one of the customers during lunch hours. The sandwich was dropped off and my wife opened it up and 2 good size pieces of mold just chilling on the top of the bread. After reading other reviews it looks like I'm not the first. With minimum wage going up for fast food workers maybe management needs to be blown out and bring someone new in to tech the workers what the hell mold is and that it should be thrown away. I walk into the restaurant on a Thursday afternoon at 12:45 PM (lunch time) and see the huge display advertising their wonderful meatball marinara sub. Ahhhh... that's what I'm going to eat today! I ordered, and the young lady behind the cash register said "we are out of meatballs. " Another employee told her very quietly that there were more meatballs in the back, but she quickly gave that employee a look equivalent to "shut up". I asked her, "so you have no meatballs at all?" she replied, "not at the moment." I asked, "what does that mean, not at the moment?" She replied, "it means not at this moment." Well, I was finished playing this game, so I had my lunch at Frosty's burgers on Benjamin Holt. Great fantastic burger joint if you love juicy burgers and crispy delicious french fries. read more

I've probably had it 20 or more times, but it's so good I just stick with it. I like how it's themed like a firehouse. Looks really cool inside. I be ordered delivery today from here and I'm very happy with the order. 1st of all the process was easy. It also helped that on the 3rd party app I was offered a free item if I ordered $25 of food. Plus I had a 40% off coupon that I was able to use. I didn't think I'd get to use 2 coupons but it basically did it all for me. I ordered 3 subs and my total price (including a $4.54 tip on the app, plus I always give a cash tip of $5 when the food arrives because where I live can be difficult to find if the driver doesn't read my directions. So if they arrive to my door that means they read the directions and that makes me happy.) Anyways the total for todays delivery was $30.38 on card and $5 cash for the extra tip, which seems about right for 3 smaller subs if ordered in person, but 3 bigger subs being delivered by a 3rd party app usually would be close to at least $40 and then add the tip, and I think I'm even still stating a lower dollar amount. Anyways I order a CLUB ON A SUB (this was the free sub that I was offered), ENGINEER, and SMOKEHOUSE BEEF & CHEDDAR BRISKET. All 3 subs were amazing. The bread was so soft. All were on rolls, the ENGINEER was on wheat and the other 2 white. They were considered hot subs. The SMOKEHOUSE was definitely a hot sub, they all arrived warm but they were perfect. You can tell they were toasted subs I guess is what I'm trying to say, not just the SMOKEHOUSE but all 3 were. I typically would have asked for no lettuce if they were hot subs but the way they toast their sandwiches is just perfect. The lettuce isn't wilted but yet the cheese is melted and everything blended together perfectly. I posted a picture of what each of our sandwiches had on it so you can see since the names don't explain it always. Anyways this is definitely one of my 1st choices now for sandwiches and I will most definitely be going back there again soon with or without a coupon. It was like a breath of fresh air for me, receiving a delivery order at such a great price and the food tasted amazing. It doesn't get any better then that! I know I had been curious about this place for a while and if it wasn't for the coupon I may not have tried it so I'm happy I did try it and you've been like me and wondering if you should try this place then now you know, YES you should give it a try because I promise you it was amazing. Wish I could give this store negative stars. I ordered a Brisket and it came with no cheese and I asked for bacon and there wasn't any which I paid extra for. The bread was totally soggy at the bottom and then I found mold on the bottom. I cant believe I paid over $30 for this. The customer service was awful and the lady taking my order had a terrible attitude. while waiting thirty minutes for a single sandwich I saw a roach in the lobby as well. No wonder the sandwich was also awful. I only ate the chips and drink (half of the drink options were unavailable and there wasn't even any ice) and I threw away the sandwich because it was so gross. So I didn't go crazy with the sandwich. I basically kept it simple. Asked when to give me a roast beef with everything on it. Now, let me tell you, for the record, that the sandwich was a good sandwich. Was it worth 14 bucks? The answer is no, but it was still a good sandwich; so it could have been worse. I could have spent 14 bucks and gotten a bad sandwich. The sandwich is actually pretty good. So if you go there, just be mindful that their food is expensive. It's like a glorified Subway. I didn't bother to take pictures of the sandwich because I ate it faster than you can say "cheese." But it actually looked good. It was well presented. It was in a nice carton, but you are going to pay for it. So in conclusion, is it worth it? In my book, the answer is no, it's not because it's just too expensive. Would not recommend ordering online, all 4 people in my house ordered a sub, chips and a drink. Ended up getting the wrong chips for all of them along with 0 drinks! Yes... 0! The lady did not have empathy and argued with me I will add condiments on the side and stated told the lady. Ordered a sandwich online order was incorrect when I picked my order up I called at 8 PM told them my sandwich was not made incorrectly. Went in to redeem my Birthday reward. The manager had no interest in being helpful when it would not work on the app. I even removed and put on the newer app and tried to order it that way and it still wouldn't work. The customer service and caring about their customers is horrible. I used to work in the food industry, so I know that they should have done something to make it right. I had an offer for a meat sub for free with purchase and last time, I had no issue getting all the meat removed and adding only olives!!! This is one of my favorite sandwich restaurants in town. My favorites include the Engineer, the New York Steamer, and the Firehouse Meatball. They have a great loyalty program that quickly adds up to free sandwiches. What I like about this restaurant is the small option. It's just a 4-inch sandwich, but for me, it's a perfect size for a not to heavy lunch. Some might find the 4-inch too small but for smaller appetites, it's perfect. read more

Wow the 2 sandwiches i ordered today were by far the worst I've had from any sandwich place. Before i go down the list of what was wrong, i must say LOUDLY that the 2 young ladies that i interacted with were very nice and polite and i have no idea who made the sandwiches or what issues might have been going on at the time but here it is from MY perspective. I pulled into the drive thru at 1:45 today( friday 3/5) and was happy to see that there was nobody ahead of me so i pulled right up and placed the order--- 1. Medium cheesesteak on toasted white no mayo 2. Medium veggie on toasted wheat no mayo 3.side mac n cheese ( tried to order a brownie but they were out, NBD) Asked for a side of their hot sauce as well Pulled forward and paid $25.30 and proceeded to wait-and wait and wait thru 7 songs and commercials on the car stereo, caught up on all the latest news on my phone and play 4 rounds of bingo on my phone after that and then just stared mindlessly at the traffic on west lane. At some point a car pulled behind me but other than that i saw nobody else. 20 minutes went by and suddenly the window opened and i was handed my order and after accepting the apology of the employee for the long wait i said no problem, have a nice day. And drove the 5 minutes home. By now its 2:15 and i grabbed some playes and napkins and brought everything over to my boyfried so we could eat. I would post pictures but i basically tore my veggie sandwich apart looking for the veggie part. The wheat bread was totally soggy on the bottom , it wasnt toasted, there was no cheese or grilled onions like it's usually made, the mushrooms werent grilled but were cold from a can( waxy and that weird taste that canned mushrooms have). In fact aside from mushrooms there was alot of lettuce and 3 slices of tomato. Thats it ...almost $10 for soggy roll, lettuce, tomatoes and canned mushrooms. I kid you not, im not exaggerating which is why i tore the sandwich apart because i just couldn't believe that this was supposed to be my lunch. The cheesecake was also soaked and soggy on the bottom of the bread, my boyfriend couldnt pick it up because the bottom half of his roll was just mush, worse than mine. Also not toasted and when he tried to just eat some of the meat( no cheese on it either) all he could tast was the wax peppers pr whatever they use) and then realized that they hadnt put the onions or bell peppers on it either...so again $10 for soggy bread, meat and wax peppers, He ate most of the mac n cheese and didnt say anything about it so no complaints about that although he did wonder if they had made the sandwiches and then they just sat there waiting for the mac n cheese because it was still warn when he ate it and the subs were clearly not made right before they gave me my order- things have to sit for awhile to get disgustingly soggy like outs were. Last time we ordered the same sandwiches and it was like night and day....unfortunately they lost our business because $25 isn't something im willing to pay when theres only a 50% chance of it being good. Even Subway makes a better veggie sandwich and thats not saying much ( literally) Go at your own risk or if you like to gamble...good luck! read more
