I'm a long term fan of Togos and until the last two days would have given a positive review. They currently brought back the BBQ beef sandwich, something that I remember from my younger years. Togos is now very pricey and for that there's an expectation that the food will be what I expect. Both days I have ordered the BBQ beef sandwich they have been cold, not lukewarm-cold as if it came out of the refrigerator. The first day I figured it was an error so reluctantly ordered another specifically saying hot. We live 5 minutes away it's summer there is no way a hot sandwich gets home and is cold again. My husband tried to call and you could hear the person on the other end trying to make excuses. I told him to go back and refund them. They ended up making new sandwiches but a different employee who recognized my husband made them. This sounds good except that over 2 days we paid 66.02 for sandwiches to get headaches and extra effort. Of California loses Togos I don't think I will be as upset as I once would have. read more

This TOGO'S has gone downhill for a while. I bought a regular sandwich, turkey and pastrami. The bun was no bigger than a hotdog bun. The pepper jack cheese seemed like it was old and brittle the veggies and lettuce seem like it was old. It was so disappointing. read more

My family has been coming to this Togo's for years without incident. At some point it looked as if it changed ownership and still had no issues. During 2023 holidays they were running a $50 gift card special and I bought it. I ended up keeping the gift card and only used it one time May 22 for the amount of $24.52. My husband went in today (8/5/24) and ordered the same thing and the cashier said there was nothing left on the card. I had the receipt from the first time I used it and they would not honor their gift card. My recommendation to anyone visiting that or any Togo's for that matter, don't purchase their gift cards. read more

The service was great ! But the food was semi-warm, in the past I've always gotten fresh hot food when ordered.

For some reason we were caught off guard once we were informed of our total for our two meals. Although we did both each get full size sandwiches two drinks and chips and somehow accidentally the cashier misunderstood us and added on an extra bottled soda our total came out to a little bit over $40. The music was a little lower than usual or would have liked in this particular location which I feel is what caused the misunderstanding in our order and the overcharging. The crew were friendly and they did have about five associates behind the counter. Before entering this location you can feel a little bit questionable or an easy as there are individuals hanging outside or around the location. Just always keep an eye on your safety and surroundings. The preparation of the food as well as the outcome of taste was made pretty well. We did sit down and eat in the location although I would recommend that a little bit more cleaning takes place here especially seeing if they had enough associates to attend to this need. We were in the surrounding area doing some shopping so this was our main reason for choosing this particular Togos location. read more

Poor customer service...I decided to come in for something quick after an afternoon shift. It was fine at first but suddenly the lady taking care of me stopped making my sandwich and began talking to her coworker in another language while also laughing and looking toward me and it made me very uncomfortable. It felt like they were gossiping about me or my order. Even worse was that they began talking for what felt like forever with my sandwich only half-made. just dropped into Togos 4 min ago. normally I really love this place but today it fried my patience. I ordered two sandwiches, salad and soup. the first a pastrami was slow because this place has only one microwave and nothing heated in advance, nor did i see at any time a thermometer being used to verify proper cooking temp. stiring it around in hot juices doesnt cut it. the second was a italian. asked for double meat. got single serve, normal. asked for vinegar and oil, got italian dressing.hummm. Then because the pastrami was in the microwave for multiple orders, my soup was hurried in the microwave, again no thermometer and as I parked around the corner 250ft from the store, found out it was cold to lukewarm at best. this store is going downhill fast. get another microwave, get some qualified people in place, not just your relatives, and cater to the customer, with proper food handling. seems your more about cutting food waste and labour costs than the proud tradition that this store one had. I do not often leave reviews, but I just feel as though this Togos needs one. I came in today June 28th to get some cold sandwiches for me and my family, and when I tell you it was grossly hot, I mean it felt horrible in there. It's a sandwich shop, so I imagine it should be far less hot in there. The poor employees looked so miserable and hot, I felt so bad. It was 81 degrees inside! How do they expect for their employees to safely work in these conditions?! And how do they think their food is gonna be safe for consumption at that temperature?! I use to come to this location all the time before they changed ownership, but it has gone downhill so much since then! I decided to not order from here today in fear of the meats and cheese and stuff not being held at proper temperature. Togos, do better! Treat your employees better! I used to love this place been going there for such a long time. Back when they open 1978 I've been going there it's gone to new owners the bathrooms were dirty.
