I read an article comparing Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, and Subway, tuna sandwiches. Great review. Super high praise for Jimmy John's, everything from the fantastic tuna to the bread being the best. In the photos the regular sandwich from JJ was beautiful. Much larger than Subway and more impressive than Jersey Mike's. My husband loves tuna sandwiches and as both Subway and Jersey Mike's are much closer to our home, we eat these often. Tonight we decided to drive across town to try Jimmy John's. We were so excited to try the tuna sandwich based on the review. What could go wrong? It sounded far superior. I considered getting the Little John, but didn't like the look if the thin bread, so I opted for the regular roast beef. All I can guess is that they used the Little John bread. The fully made sandwich was barely 2" across, super thin. You can see my ruler in the photos. It did taste good, but that's where the good ends. The tuna sandwich was also 2" wide when fully prepared. Granted we avoided lettuce do to recent issue with bacteria (not at JJ's but why chance it.) I don't think lettuce would have made the sandwich any wider. The tuna was almost inedible. After trying all three chains, this was by far the worst. It was dry and hardly enough to cover the bread. Nothing like the pictures in the article. Also, the menu board said that it comes with provolone. There was no cheese on the sandwich. Actually, this worked out because my husband doesn't like cheese, but he was just going to pull it off. That said, if someone wanted the cheese, they would not have received it. While friendly, service was painfully slow. I will preface that we were the only ones there and they didn't seem to be making any to go orders. Despite this, they stood around chatting awhile before ever even starting on our order. This was just extremely disappointing after making a special effort to go there based on a glowing review which we can only assume was written by Jimmy John's marketing, an owner, or other executive. The sandwich is good. Customer service at this location is ok. Been twice in the last month for lunch, and wasn't impressed. It was defiantly not FreakyFast waited about 7-8 minutes for mine. Sandwich is decent. Service is lacking. I spent over $50 and wasn't offered a receipt or a bag for my sandwiches and chips. They yelled out my order and I struggled with grabbing it all until I ultimately grabbed a bag over the counter myself. Asked for water when I ordered and didn't get one. As I left I asked for water again and she gave me a small cup, my son got water and took a sip then threw it away as he said it tasted bad. I went in with my best friends and my friend ordered a number 1, just ham, provolone and lettuce. She is allergic to tomatoes and they still put tomatoes on it and she requested no tomatoes. She went in to have it remade. They didn't put tomatoes on it however they put mayo, mustard, and pickles on it when it wasn't requested. I ended up going in and making sure it was made correctly in front of me. I even went as far as checking the sandwich there in the store, in front of them. This is honestly upsetting because every other location I've been to has not messed up this badly. When I swear that I'm never coming back to a location, I usually end up returning eventually. I ended up here after a trip to another Jimmy John's close to Shoreline didn't go as planned. But that's another story. The service here was okay tonight, nothing special and I was told by the employee that I had a reward for a dollar off, so I accepted it. I honestly don't know if it was applied. It didn't seem that way on the receipt, but it was too much trouble to argue with them about it. I had planned on getting their Italian wrap, since I'm trying to cut down on bread and I got an email from them saying that their wraps are offered all the time. As usual I wasn't able to order on my phone. The ap always gives me problems, so I just went in. By the time I arrived, I was pretty stressed out from the runaround I had trying to find the other location, so I ordered a Tom Turkey on regular bread. I also got their Skinny Chips and a Powerade. I honestly don't know what happened. The sandwich was satisfying enough, but when I got home, my stomach was all torn up and things didn't go well after that. New Zesty Garden Turkey Club Turkey, bacon, slow roasted tomatoes, herb aioli, pickled red onions & cheesy croutons. You really taste the herb aioli right away! It tastes a lot like pesto. Which could be good or bad. I love pesto, so it was good for me! But since it's an overpowering flavor, I could see a lot of people disliking it. The slow roasted tomatoes had a great flavor but their skin is a little bit tough. I was expecting the pickled onions to have an overwhelming flavor but you couldn't really taste them at all on half my sandwich. I wish they had more on the whole thing. I asked them to add cucumber to my sandwich, which they forgot, to my disappointment. I think they also forgot the croutons. If they didn't, you can't tell they are on the sandwich at all & add nothing. I could really taste the turkey and bacon in some bites, and not so much in others. I would probably order extra turkey next time (if I got it again) which is disappointing for the $10.05 price point. I had it delivered to my house, and it got here in less than a half hour. But, the store is only like a half mile away, so keep that in mind. It may be way less speedy for you. Overall I really enjoyed the sandwich. read more

Came here on a Saturday around 2pm. They have 7 people working that I could see and it took 20 min to make 2 regular sandwiches. My husband and I are weekly Jimmy John's customers and this is a new location for us since moving, but I have never been to a location where it took this long. There was also a lady that came in and ordered after us that received her order before us. We enjoy the food, but since there are a surplus of options in the area we will choose other options for our Saturday lunch. read more

Stopped in today for the first time in literally years. Checked out the menu board and chose an 8" Caesar chicken wrap and a small pack of chips, nothing else. Didn't see a price on the board, and I should have asked. The total for that 8" sandwich and the chips was $15.24. That sandwich was placed on the counter, I wasn't handed napkins or asked if I'd like a bag.No smile, no thank you, no nothing. Reached over and got my own napkins. The worst part was the sandwich itself which was poor. The chicken was bland, the lettuce and tomato were bland. The dressing that was swiped on the wrap had plenty of garlic but wasn't particularly flavorful otherwise. I ended up tossing out about 3/4 of the wrap. Well, if behave always had great service here at the lynnwood location. I always order the same thing and today I received a sandwich with very little meat. When I specifically added more meat. I paid $23 dollars for the picture below. I called and the manager insisted he made it himself and this is the correct way. My order history shows I have ordered the same thing. Since it is an "unwich" I make it extra meat to feel full and have protein. However this isn't the fault of the lovely line workers at this location, but actually of the order taker who seemed to be having a bad day. She couldn't be bothered to speak clearly, be friendly, or even ensure that our order was taken correctly. This resulted in a sandwich being made wrong and having to ask for more ingredients. Once the sandwich was correct it was delicious but having to dress a sandwich ourselves was a hassle we didn't pay for. Always quick service. I will say though multiple times Ive walked in this location and had to wait for workers to stop their conversation to order a usual. I only mention this because I honestly don't remember a time that I didn't have to wait a couple minutes for someone to just pivot themselves and take my usual order for 10-30 seconds and continue their conversation. Otherwise haven't had a problem! Nice enough folks, not sure if their the same ones each time, but a nice fast crew. Without any upselling pressure. They want you in and out and on your way. Also... ill say I live in Brier (yelp says 2.7 miles away) and they won't deliver here sadly! (Have told me twice on the phone its too far, without actually asking my address.) its fine. My boyfriend speaks highly of Jimmy Johns and says it can't even compare to Subway, so I had high hopes. I was a sandwich artist at subway and I loved it, except the amount of bread, too much. So I ordered the #15, the Tuna. & he had to have a pickle. The pickle was fine, not bad but not the best I've ever had. Can there be "the greatest" of a pickle?
