My son and I came here for a Yelp Community Experience and bought an additional hotdog and a side of fries and a couple of drinks. There is something about a corndog just feels satisfying. No utensils needed, not too messy, great tasting and also fairly inexpensive. The menu is pretty simple with only 8 hotdog/corndog options and French Fries and Fried Ricecake Skewers. There are several dipping sauces and toppings you can add to these items. We bought a #3 Half N Half corndog sprinkled with Hot Cheetos for my son along with an order of French Fries sprinkled with Chili Cheese powder. The corndogs were tasty and satisfying and cooked expertly. The fries weren't as hot as they could have been and the topping was pretty bland for something with the name Chili in it. We got a variety of the sauces for dipping. I had the cheese sauce, my son had the chili glaze sauce and for the fries we got a creamy fry sauce style of sauce. Overall, this is a fun and different place to try for me. I enjoyed the corndogs best.

The best Korean hotdog in town! I'm a simple gal l ordered the mozza dog-which is just cheese, you can add sugar if you want to the outside. They have many sauces to choose from and taste yummy to dip your dog! My fav are the aHot sauce and sweet chili sauce, amazing separately or mix em together for a fun kick! I tried the rice cakes skewers they were very tasty. The sauce on them was sweet with a little spice . Definitely give em a try!

    7. Seoul Half and Half Hot Dog

Was surprised that the prices for a dog weren't insane. Wait time can be a bit long even if you're the onle ones in the store, but at least they make it fresh. I went for the best of both worlds, the #7 Seoul Half and Half Hotdog. Seoul Half and Half Hotdog - the only part missing is the potato exterior, but you get to try most of a Korean hotdog with one item. I wanted all cheese but needed some protein so I was conflicted. If going for taste, I recommend full sending the cheese! A beautiful cheese pull and just delicious too.

Seoul Hotdog is one of my guilty pleasures whenever I'm in the Federal Way area. I first tried them out because of a Yelp Experience, but have gone back a few times since then. The location is prime. It's close to the mall and Target (which is where I usually frequent out here) so it's not trouble to come across the street and get a hotdog. Parking is easy to come by since it's in a strip mall type of area. Inside is small, it's definitely not designed for you to eat here. You order, you're given a buzzer, and you wait for your order to be ready. I always get the Seoul Half N Half Hotdog, which is half hotdog and half mozzarella cheese. I wish they had one where it was a full hotdog covered completely in mozzarella, but I guess I'm getting ahead of myself! One of these snacks fills me up - I don't think I could have two. The breading is sooo crispy and goes so well with the dipping sauces - I always get the Ah! Hot Sauce which is creamy. Reminds me of a spicy mayo like you get with sushi. The hotdogs are always good, but my favorite part is the mozzarella half. The cheese pulls are insane and I feel like I'm eating a supersized mozzarella stick which is basically what dreams are made of. Aside from being delicious, these hotdogs are super affordable, making it an easily justifiable purchase. Keep being delicious, Seoul Hotdog!

I ordered cheese&beef sausage corn dog . Love the potato batter. It is chewy. The combination of cheese and sausage makes the corn dog more enjoyable.

My 14yo daughter just tried her first hotdog- and she loved it! After our shopping at Alderwood Mall for an upcoming trip to Japan, she had a craving for Happy Lemon (her own personal "happy" spot) and we passed Seoul Hotdog en route. Since we hadn't eaten lunch, I tried to persuade my extremely picky picky little to check out, and to my surprise she was willing. As much as I hate TikTok, I kinda love TikTok because somehow she saw the Korean dog trend on there and deemed it much "cooler" than anything dear old mom could ever persuade her to do. We shared the #7 Seoul Half & Half (w/ the spicy sausage and no sugar) -- the sausage options are: (1) all-beef or (2) spicy, 1/2 beef + 1/2 pork. It was basically a corn-dog with the top half of it pure cheese (a stick of mozzarella?), the bottom half the sausage of choice, then the whole thing wrapped in batter, coated with panko breadcrumbs, and deep-fried. I believe the sugar option is whether you want the outside rolled in sugar-- unclear if that is before/after breading, before/after frying, or ??? Dear little was in heaven and anytime she eats anything new, this mama's heart goes pitter patter. Little also wanted fries, with the chili cheese flavor. From what I could tell, this basically just involved dumping a healthy dosage of chili-parmesan powder on top. Just FYI-- anything labeled spicy or chili here is apparently for the gringos because nothing we ate (in the opinions of little and me) was remotely spicy.

So this is a favorite for my kids ahem and myself. Sometimes you want a very naughty corn dog that has some oomf So we usually get the half beef half moz with potato, sans sugar (we tried sugar, wasn't for me) but it's a no brainer for us Very little seating so be aware, you can also order before hand as they make it to order so you'll have to wait a little.

Went as part of a Yelp event but also took friends with me. We tried the spicy hotdog, the cheese dog, the rice cakes, and a regular hotdog with potato. It's a tiny place in a small strip mall near the Aldereood mall with space for about 4 seats at a bar; they do have 3 tables outside, each with 4 seats. It was a weeknight around 6 and they were hopping! We had about a 10 minute wait to order, and they use beepers to let you know when your order is ready. You can get hot cheetos dust as an add on, or have it dusted with caster sugar. They were super efficient and got orders out quickly. Everything was well cooked although the cheese hardens relatively quickly. That person said they would get a half and half next time. The dough was tasty. We will be back!

    #3 Spicy with Sugar

Fresh, crunchy, and delicious!! I would recommend the #3 because it has half cheese and half hot dog. The spicy hot dog was a mild spicy, I'd recommend! They will ask you if you want sugar and I thought it was an added a fun texture and taste. You only get one free sauce which isn't enough. I really liked the spicy sauce! The only downside is that it does take them awhile to make it but it's worth it to have it so fresh!

My smarty pants preschooler saw the word "hotdog," and negotiating another time with a hungry 3 year old equals a rough ride home I caved in and ordered him a "hotdog." Wow!!! What a great treat!!! Who would think a stick of mozzarella dipped in batter and potatoes would so good!! Definitely order a few sauces as it gives every bite a varying experience. Customer service was excellent, I highly recommend Seoul Hotdog!!

It's a shame on me that I didn't know till now there is a Korean hotdog shop right next to Alderwood Mall.  I was very glad when I found this place because I presumably thought I would need to go to Seattle downtown to get a Korean hotdog. I was greeted warmly and was able to place an order quickly because I knew what I wanted to order.  I order #3 SEOUL HALF N HALF POTATO HOTDOG.  I think #3 is the best option if you would like to taste a little bit of everything from their menu. As they had some orders that came through mobile prior to my order, I had to wait a while to receive the food.  The hotdog was pretty warm as it was prepared as soon as the order was placed.  The surface texture was unique with potatoes being all over the hotdog, and I liked their AH! BaGo sauce which was made out of Gochujang sauce.   Parking is easy as there are many lots available in front of the shop.

Such a fun place to grab a South Korean street food favorite. You definitely want the sugar finishing touch for your hot dog! The staff are friendly and helpful with selecting something yummy. I wish there was a bit more seating options but it's still a great place to eat especially outside on a summer evening.

The cheese dog is super yummy! Just like a giant mozzarella stick. I feel that $5 per corn dog is reasonably priced!

Figured I'd have to wait a bit bc I got there within 5 minutes of ordering, but everything was already packaged and ready to go. Decided to try a few different things. The mango jasmine green tea with tapioca was helllaaa refreshing. Who knows, maybe it was just bc I lost 83728lbs of sweat working out but. Whatever. I got it w less ice + half sugar and it was honestly still a bit too sweet IMO. The bubble waffle was aight. Tbh I just wanted to try it out. I got the OG w some puff cream or something. The lil balls alone are pretty good. The puff cream just adds a bit of sweet/salt flava to da mix. The texture of the actual waffle was pretty airy/light. The Korean corn dog was busssin. You can't go wrong w whatever variation you get. I got mine with the honey mustard sauce and ooooowee. Overall, solid. I'm sure I got like at LEAST 10g of protein from this meal lmao. Alright peace

Before the closed down, I paid for two Korean dogs and after paying, their machine broke, so the employees then wrote me a "gift card" for me to bring back and get my two Korean dogs at a later day when they fixed it - all of us thinking it would be just a few days. They ended up closing for "maintenance" and then stayed closed for a couple of months - when I suppose this is the time it changed hands. I went in today with my "gift card" and ordered the two Korean dogs (which I had already paid for with the old owners) and ordered some other items as well. The employee took it to her manager. The manager then took it to the new owner, who was literally sitting 5 feet away from me. She said NO! Then after I explained the situation again, she said that she give me one. Not the two on the card. I totally get it. I could have been absolutely a liar and taking advantage. BUT I am not and was not. So, yes, it would have been nice for her to honor the words and obligations of the previous owners (she didn't keep any of the old staff either which made me sad because they were incredible staff and known for their great customer service), but she chose not to. Then the electronic menus were not working so the staff member had to read to me about a few things. Then I paid cash and they didn't even have coins to give me correct change. Looks like it's a rough start to what used to be a great mochinut store to go to. And she would have had made a long time customer had she trusted me, the card I brought in, and honored it. Today, I'm leaving with kind of a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't even taken a bite of anything yet. Hopefully the food tastes better than the service.
