    Delivered and delicious!
    Jan-Michael T.

First and foremost, I have to clarify this review for Jimmy John's located near Melbourne High School is for their delivery service. I will be honest and say I've never eaten at their location whatsoever. However, I have ordered numerous times for delivery when I was working for AIG in the past and currently as security for Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. All and all, I am more than satisfied with it. Jimmy John's menu is very simplistic. They only serve sub sandwiches, drinks, chips, cookies, and pickles (you read that right, pickles). I have ordered their turkey, provolone, and avocado sub, their double roast beef and cheese sub, and their tuna subs in the past. All of them have been good. Are they as good as Subway or Jersey Mike's, that is debatable as I believe it comes down to preference. However, for what they have, it is good. There are two details about Jimmy John's that truly stands out from the rest though. The first is the "unwich" option. I'll be honest and say that over time, I am losing my taste for bread. I don't know why but most bread for me just feels like I am eating filler (which technically it is). Ergo, I love the "unwich" option in which they the bread is replaced with numerous leaves of romaine lettuce. Secondly, I love my pickles and I love the fact the pickles are huge! I just found this out recently as my most recent order with Jimmy John's, I ordered two. They were huge. Ergo, I will only need to order one next time. Ultimately, Jimmy John's to me does not stand out in flavor or variety. There are other sub places that actually do a better job in those categories. But the speed of making their subs to delivery and the option to replace bread with romaine lettuce leaves are major pluses to me personally. Jimmy John's, the one located near Melbourne High School, easily gets four out of five stars. The only reason why they are missing a star is that my review lacks any critique of their actually restaurant.

Freakin sub is in competition with Publix. Good stuff. Best part was the bread is fresh according to my family! They had a unwhich (no bread) that was delicious and didn't make me miss any of the bread. Tasted super fresh!

    Sample sandwiches delivered

The store I work at orders from Jimmy Johns multiple times every day. So many times we get caught up with customers and only have a few minutes to eat before the next one arrives and we can always count on Jimmy Johns to be there quickly. Thanks so much for the sample sandwiches today!

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the restaurants still in business in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area of the Space Coast, the one that has truly lasted the test of time is The Burger Inn. Located on US-1, The Burger Inn is a testament to the city's history as the restaurant was first founded back in 1952. That was a time when Melbourne was the eastern point for cattle herding in Central Florida. US-1 was still a dirt road back then. As a matter of fact, The Burger Inn is one of the five-oldest restaurants still in business in Brevard County. By age, it is the second-youngest (Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, FL is younger while Ashley's, Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and the Old Fish House Bar & Grille are older). The age The Burger Inn shows is more a testament to its delightfully tacky charm more so than be dated. In short, their age equates to experience and wisdom that still makes them a popular choice amongst restaurant-goers anywhere, both locals and tourists alike. The Burger Inn is located on the eastside of US-1, just a little ways north of the Eau Gallie Art District, but just a little ways south of the Big Orange roadside attraction. Take note that the entrance into The Burger Inn is a "right turn only," so patrons going south will need to turn in at the light before or after The Burger Inn and take the residential roads to it. The Burger Inn, as mentioned earlier, is delightfully tacky in its charm. It has the updated design of a 1960s drive-thru diner with its bright colors of the time. Think of a lot of red and yellow, neon lights, and black-and-white checker floors. If it further helps, think of movies like Grease. The majority of seating is outdoors with stone chairs and tables which were famously used in old-school garden parks of the 1970s with their tile mosaic designs. The seating is shaded and have roll-down canvas covers to block sunlight and wind just in case. The bar area is still intact with all the old-school cookery right in front of you. But take note people were "smaller" back then so if you are bigger or taller person, sitting at the bar will be uncomfortable. This is a burger dive bar so most of your food will be of that preference. But unlike other places, they still place precedence on their classic burgers, sides, and milkshakes. You can truly attest to the rest of their menu if their basics are delicious, and I will say their regular cheeseburger, fries, and shake are more than good, but have that satisfaction from eating a good ole' fast food meal back when such was done with actual care. That doesn't mean The Burger Inn has not kept with the times. They have updated their menu to include present day offerings such as chili-cheese fries, onion rings, mozerella cheese sticks, and much more. Finally on the food, they do have a challenge in which you eat a 10-patty cheeseburger, a large order of chili-cheese fries, and a 32 oz. shake in less than 30 minutes, you will get a free t-shirt and your meal is free. If you fail, you pay $40 for the attempt (which is not bad for a price if you think about it). Actually, everything on their menu is priced decently. A burger is about $5, which is fair given inflation, but worth it when you are eating a wholesome old-fashioned burger. Probably the only Issue worth addressing is the restroom. Remember how I said the bar seems to be made for people at a time when they were smaller. The same goes for the restroom. It is literally only a single unisex room that somehow is smaller than the space in a portable potty. The toilet literally runs under the sink. Talk about a tight squeeze. Despite that minute details, I have never been disappointed eating here at The Burger Inn. They've always been consistent with their food, especially during a time when specialty groups seem to naysay on what we can or cannot eat. Ergo, I am giving them five-out-of-five stars. Definitely give The Burger Inn a chance.

Full Disclosure - this is a take-out review…read more.. Decided to give this place a try after surfing on a Friday afternoon and working up a good appetite. Placed my order on-line and it was, for the most part, easy. I took advantage of their Chimichanga Friday special and was glad I did. A massive chimi with rice, black beans, greens, guac, sour cream, and a side of queso to put it all together. The entire dish was delicious, no complaints. Though I did not eat at the locale, I did look around as I waited for my turn to find it very airy and inviting. Looks like a nice relaxing place for some really good Mexican food.

I only used the drive thru and the order board had a lot of selections, and some prettt good descriptions of what was in/on the food items. Service: Was pretty disappointed with the service. After the girl took my order and I drove up, she literally opened the window and handed me the bag of food. She didn't say anything. I asked her if it was everything, and she said yes. Where is the customer service... how about "here you go" or "thank you, come again", or something. It's so rude to just hand the food and not say anything at all. Food: we got a few things to try: Burro Loco Dry Burrito - 3/5 This was ok ... I wouldn't run right back for this, but I still ate it. It was a good sized burrito. Had ground beef and chicken, rice, beans and queso. Carnitas - 3/5 These were just ok too ... the meat was on the dry side and the plate was full of more "filler food" than anything else. There were literally 3 types of onions on the plate... white slivers, red pickled, and chopped onions as a garnish with tomato and lettuce. I don't even really like onions. LOL! The plate also had rice and beans, a dollop of guacamole, a couple radishes, lime slices, and came with 3 corn tortillas on the side. Queso and chips - 5/5 loved the queso and chips, but it was a pretty small serving. Also, we tried to order tamales but they were out of them. Overall: I would come back with other people if they were coming and try some other menu items, but not sure if I'll be back for take out again.

What's the order was entered into the computer and paid somebody came out from back of the kitchen and began to make my food. I'm not sure if he even said hello to me but he did his job perfect. Once it was done he put it up in the window and I was able to take it. The store is a great paint shop inside it's just so weird that you can't sit there and eat your sandwich. Now the chicken sandwich itself seemed like it was massively over size. I had chicken breast hanging out both sides of the bun. And it wasn't a crappy Patty that you're used to at normal fast food places. It was pretty good a nice juicy and a Buffalo wasn't too spicy it was great. Only question is that these chickens at their serving up have such big boobies that I'm wondering if this is a Turkey breast. Of course it's not a Turkey but it's so big it'll make you think it was. Overall I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some more menu items.
