I don't have a jimmy johns near me where I live, but a disgusting sandwich is not what I expected. My order was made completely wrong (didn't open it until I got to the beach) and when I called to see what they could do they had a terrible attitude with me and offered me a new sandwich. But the first one was so disgusting I couldn't even go back in there. The restaurant itself was disgusting and there's literally a sign to tell people not to spit (who needs that reminder in a restaurant?). I live .2 miles from this location and my last four attempts at ordering have taken over 45 minutes for delivery for two sandwiches and a couple bags of chips. My car got the boot for being parked for 30 minutes in a jimmy johns only parking spot. Who wants a cold, overpriced sandwich when you can have Salsa Fiesta (shout out! they never disappoint!). Jimmy John's is alway empty but today I found out how they make their money... The manager watches the cameras to see who parks in the jimmy johns customer only spots and doesn't walk into the jimmy john's. Poor guy can't compete, so scams his competitors customers. So then he calls buddy to stick you with the boot within minutes. I mean I saw it in action, management is in constant communication with this guy that he hired to do this (who is also rude!). Today I had the most unpleasant lunch in my life. This Jimmy John's encourages a, I would like to say, illegal policy to tow your car if you park on their spots and, (God forbid!!!) go somewhere else besides this place. You may end up paying $89 dollars, which seems to be the way JJ is getting some profit for a business that, at 1 PM on a Friday afternoon, had around 6 employees and only ONE customer. The manager of the store was super rude explaining that the company hired a booting service to enforce that only JJ clients park on 5 specific spots on an area where parking is chaotic. My complaint wasn't for the locking and towing of the cars, is why does Jimmy Johns has to use this sneaky policy where other business like Starbucks (right next to it) decided to open parking after the complains of customers. And trust me, we called the police and mine is not the first time this happens. Apparently they are called several times a day because people are robbed $89.00 every time they get a car locked. I have no idea why other options like a Pay-By-Phone parking have not been explored. At least someone wouldn't paying almost a 100 dollars just because the owners of the place haven't found a way to make customers try to park on other businesses places to go to their store. I wonder if this is basically a new way to profit from workers like us that just have to go back to work and won't have the time to fight back. read more

For a quick sub place, this spot is pretty good. Fresh ingredients and tasty subs. Im so glad they opened this location next to my job. Its scary fast by the time i put away the card i paid with, my sub is ready. My favorites are the #15 Tuna and the #11 Country Club on Wheat. Wheat bread is a bit too thick i prefer less bread on my sub. My other complaint is I wish they had more cheese options. I'm such a snob when it comes to cheese. Their service is really friendly and helpful too. All smiles and cheers once you come in. Little things like this helps customers return. Beware of the boot!!!!!! It's widely known that this location will boot your car if you park in a JJ's spot but go somewhere else. See the other numerous reviews to that effect. Today, however, I was booted DESPITE walking back with a JJ's bag in-hand. The reason? I had also swung by Starbucks to pickup an online order. Yes, the 30 extra seconds I spent in Starbucks was apparently enough to be boot-worthy. After flashing my JJ's bag to the attendant, along with an infuriated stare, he took off the boot for no charge...this time. But not before issuing a stern warning and informing me that by parking in a JJ's spot, you can ONLY go to JJ's. If you wish to also drop by Starbucks or pickup a quick taco at Salsa Fiesta, a mere 10 steps away, their policy, which is NOT posted publicly, would require you to move your car and re-park in the appropriate lot. Anyone familiar with parking in this area or who has also tried to come here for a quick lunch will appreciate how difficult and insanely ridiculous this request is. JJ's - I have no assurance that my next lunch won't cost me an additional $90. Until you iron out these kinks with Elite Booting, Inc., you've lost a loyal customer. To anyone looking for food in this area - do yourself a favor. Park in a Salsa Fiesta spot (same parking lot) and pay them a visit. Always looking for new lunch options and decided to try them out. I always hear their radio commercials but I've never come across one by where I live. Their subs are so fresh, and the breads they use are so delicious. They also have cookies, if you need a sweet fix. The triple chocolate is my fave! Asked to speak to a manager they gave the phone to a Man name dj that wasn't even the manager. He told me it was on the way. I lived across the street from a Jimmy John's years ago, so I've eaten many a Jimmy John's sandwich. I was glad to see them open up nearby to my office. Jimmy John's only has two kinds of bread and one type of cheese, but still their sandwiches are pretty good. The Club Lulu is my favorite. I also like that they have sprouts. Everything is between about $6-$10. And yes, the delivery is ridiculously fast. I am about 6 blocks away. After I order, the food is usually in my hand in about 6 minutes... sometimes less... and never more than 10 minutes. You can almost hear them start making your sandwich while you are still completing your order. Not the best sandwiches ever, but pretty good and super fast and convenient. So we ordered two subs and asked them to be delivered down the street. All good so far. Then the very polite rider knocks on the door and he was given a tip and we thanked each other. Next I open my sub and find out that the item is missing some items requested. I now make a call to the store and reach Ronald the store manager. Ronald asked me several times to look under the cheese and lettuce for the missing peppers which I did however they were not there. He stated "sorry" but offered no cure for this. I then said "sorry...what that's it". at which time he stated that he can make me another sub and they will then pick up the mistakes. This would be fine except I am in a hurry and hungry. There is nothing wrong with the food in front of me but it is missing items. Perhaps a discount on future order or a cookie or something next time would have fixed the issue. Now I am being asked to wait another 30 min before I can eat or leave my home until the delivery person arrives. I stated to Ronald that I would prefer at this time to just receive a refund for the mistake. He can come and get the sub if he desires but I will just find something else to eat here at home as I do not wish to wait so long to eat. Ronald stated that he will not issue me a refund. I said ok I will just contact my credit card company then and dispute the charges at which time he said go ahead in a very rude manner. I asked Ronald for a customer service number which he refused to give to me. I asked him for his name including his last name which he told to me however it was a long difficult name and I can not recall the name. This is why I asked if he could spell his name. Ronald refused to spell his name even though I asked him if he could spell it four times. Each time I asked if he could spell the name he just continued to pronounce it again. At this time Ronald actually hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked if he will be coming back to get the subs. Again I asked for the spelling of his name and he refused. About 40 min later there was a knock at the door with another kind rider with a replacement sub with him. I took the sub and give him the other. Upon closing the door I threw the sub in the trash as I was not sure if I wanted to eat it at this point and I had already found me some leftovers in the frig to cure my hunger. I had also called customer service after looking for the number online. I assure you that Jimmy Johns on Biscayne Blvd in Miami will never need to worry about our orders again. Ronald who is actually the General Manager has see sure to that. Customer service this day with Ronald was garbage. I would hope that the owner of this location would be more concerned then Ronald is about customers and their business. read more

I went home to visit my family and my cousins were raving about this place so when I got back home and noticed one up the street I decided to check it out. The service is creepy fast and friendly but my socks weren't knocked off as I was expecting by the dramatization from the fam. It could be because I don't eat meat that I didn't get the full effect idk. It wasn't bad, it was actually really good but I guess I was expecting something else. If I had my choice of subway next door and here I would definitely go with Jimmy johns but in my opinion Publix blows everyone out of the water. Sprouts! Sprouts on everything! I love Jimmy Johns. I visit this location at the very least once a week. I'd only ever tried them in Orlando so I'm happy to have one near work. My fave is the Beach Club with sprouts, hold the mayo. Fresh bread, lots of lettuce, avocado (my fave ever), turkey, sprouts. Can you tell I love sprouts? I think it gives sandwiches pizzazz! I would give 0 stars if I could. First of all Jimmy John's subs, with processed fake meat and raw bread, are gross. But this location is particularly foul because of the guy they hire to boot your car if he doesn't think you actually ate here. He claims to check inside the restaurant but that's a lie. Complaining to the manager is pointless, he could care less about losing customers. He just gave me the number of their corporate office. I wish Jimmy John's would leave. Today was my first visit to Jimmy Johns. I walked here from my office and we're going to have a little turkey sandwich. There was a sign on the cash register that said cash only. When I asked about it, the young lady told me that the system has been down for a couple of days! I asked for manager. She pointed out the manager and I went and spoke with him. I asked about the system and it being down and that I had walked here with no cash only my credit card expecting to be able to get a sandwich. He didn't surprise me and made a good judgement call and gave me a free meal because I did talk to him and told him that I walked here and this was my first visit. Good call!
