This location is in a shared shopping center and surrounded by great businesses but also means parking can be limited. It wasn't busy when I walked in. The staff was friendly and made the orders pretty quickly. I came specifically for the picklewich. I had the TiVo which seems similar to an Italian sub. I enjoy sandwiches and pickles, therefore this was a must try! I really did like it! The pickle had a good crunch to it also!. It was hard to keep the contents from shifting with each bite making for a messy consumption. Even the pickle chips was delicious. Star deducted because I ordered and paid 60 cents for the pickle ranch and I didn't get it. I should have double checked to see if I had everything before I left but was preoccupied on how I was going to carry my items and my newborn in the carseat out and into my car. There is plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside. The soda selection isn't big but I really wasn't there for the drinks so not a deal breaker for me. It shows online all day long combos for 899 medium sandwich, drink and chips. I walk in there and order medium sandwich chips and a medium drink and now it was 1497 and I question them and told them it should be 899 and all of a sudden the price came way down to 899 and they tried to tell me because I added cheese. Terrible service & communication! A first time Jimmy John visitor here & working in the area. I walked in. Now I have need to this chain alllllll over the US! I ordered my sandwich and was not asked what I wanted on it. As I tried to tell them what I did want on it I asked for extra mayo and was told by the young man making my sandwich that was all the mayo he can pot on it, yet there are clearly gallons available?!?! (See photo) I had to stop them mid way through making and tell them I'm allergic to tomatoes! I was not told of topping options like Jersey Mikes or Subway or even the other locations I've visited in Boston, Utah etc.! I was not asked what kind of cheese I wanted! They put nasty provolone on it! The menu is very vague in regards to what toppings are available. The young rude sandwich maker has longer hair and no hair net making the sandwich's. Honestly, dealing with this store is a huge annoyance. We live within delivery range and the last 3x we have ordered it's taken more than 45 min to deliver. I end up having to call and they say "we're short drivers..." So much for "freaky fast delivery," right? Also, the last 2x I've ordered on the app and it doesn't go through as a delivery and I had to call and wait for them to cancel and re-place the order. It annoys me because we basically only use Jimmy Johns for their delivery connivence except they're always inconvenient. This is dumb, but I always order my toddler a slim and they say it's policy that you can't get any mayo added. I would rather be charged .25-.75¢ for mayo then be told I have to put my own on. Who eats a dry sandwich anyways? So instead, I have to pay for a full Turkey sandwich and remove all the toppings to get a Mayo topping OR pay for Mayo packets. What?! Also, every time there is an issue- they say "we're short on drivers." In this day there are multiple delivery options available and Jimmy John's is not it! Who wants to wait longer for a SANDWICH than you would have for a restaurant meal? They only deliver within a mile radius sooooo should not be that challenging. PLEASE READ!!! I visited a @jimmyjohns location in Houston on Saturday and I witnessed horrible negligence by the a food handler! He handled the bread with bare hands, did not wear a mask, used his phone & scratched then went back to handling the bread without gloves. Terrible service. Walked in and the cashier ignored and didn't acknowledge us for at least 2 minutes. We asked for pickles and I know they normally come in spears. We got a tiny cup of sliced pickles. We were getting our food to go (which we were never asked) / and upon our sandwiches being ready we asked for a bag and the guy just opened a bag and set it beside our sandwiches. They are friendly most of the time, but the quality of sandwich is hit or miss. I ate it alone on Friday and he sandwich was perfect with lots of avocado spread. We both ordered it tonight (for ease of delivery) and waited nearly 15 mins for them to deliver two blocks. My sandwich had two spots of spread that hadn't actually been spread out in my sandwich. I gave them four stars anyway, and I've checked in here 14 times. I must eat lo-carb, and it turns out they have the best lettuce wraps (unwiches) around. The Hunter's Club, unwich, extra mayo, add hot peppers. $6.14. This is my go-to place now when I want to get a quick lunch and take it back to the office. Wow! This place is lightening fast in getting your food out, even when crowded with engineers from NASA across the street! I always get the #12 Beach Club, and I make sure to ask them to scrape the inside of the bread out so as to make me feel like I'm being good. Their bread is always tasty, never stale so that's a plus! The meat is not too salty like most sub places and not slimy like it tends to be at Subway. #12 Beach Club comes with turkey, provolone, avocado, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and mayo ... but I opt for mustard instead of mayo. But sometimes I have to go for convenience and this place lives up to its reputation of freaky fast. More importantly, I always get good, friendly service and receive a tasty sandwich for a good price. I think it's important to recognize that even these chains provide good service because there are locations that aren't so hot. I always get extra tomatoes at no extra charge. My work offered a "lunch and learn" and this is where we decided to get lunch for the office; I was super excited as I had heard rave reviews about Jimmy John's but hadn't ever tried it. Just for the record, this is just for a pick up group order. We ordered online, and although our office is literally 3 miles away...yes literally, I Google mapped it...they wouldn't deliver to us. Which was a pain, but okay, we'll pick it up. Irritating, but fine, everyone says they have great sandwiches, so it will be worth it, right? Um. That's a negative, Ghost Rider. We got there yesterday and told them we had a pickup order, and they handed us a box with sandwiches. No chips, no cookies, no pickles, no drinks. When we asked about them we were told the chips and cookies were "at the counter". So all you guys will do is give us the sandwiches and we have to figure out what else we need? We finally got one young kid to help us out and get us the sides. We had to ask them for a cup holder for the drinks, and the mustard and mayo packs that were ordered, and then we asked for the manager to let him know that we had a another order the following day. He didn't really seemed like he cared much. he apologized but it was more like he felt like he should than he really was sorry that it was a wait and a pain in the butt to get our order. My bread was burned (I got a turkey slim on wheat bread), so that was disappointing. They were definitely skimpy on the meat; I know it was a slim but still...turkey isn't that calorie laden! The pickle was good and the Thinny Chips were decent. I didn't get a cookie (that just seemed counter productive...like a Diet Coke and a cupcake. Although, okay, okay, I've totally done that! Don't tell me you haven't!) But really, I wasn't impressed. I know it was free, as work paid for it, so that's pretty much why it didn't completely suck. Today was a different story, as they had everything ready but it really was too little, too late. However, I had a disappointing customer service experience with them on my last visit that has put me off returning again. I was enough of a regular customer that I finally filled in all of the punch holes on their frequent diner card. I came in to redeem the free small sandwich that it entitled me to, and was suddenly told they don't honor them anymore! I can understand not continuing a punch card program anymore moving forward, but why wouldn't they honor a card that a regular customer has gone to the trouble to complete up to now? For all you Houstonites that haven't been to Jimmy John's, check it out. Long Story Short: As fast as you can put in your order, it will already be done! They truly are freaky fast. I dont know how subs that look so easy to make end up tasting so good.. but it always hits the spot. I really wish places would ask if we have ever visited their establishment before so they could give me some pointers! I wanted roast beef, so I ordered the #2 Big John. I nixed the mayo and got Dijon mustard. Tastes so much better with roast beef! M got the #8 Billy Club with roast beef, ham, Dijon, lettuce and tomato. We each got a bag of BBQ chips and a drink. The sandwiches come on their famous french bread that is soft and tasty. You have a choice of sliced 7 grain bread, but I really liked the french bread. The lettuce tasted dirty to me, so I scraped it off. The sandwich was just eh. I am not compelled to go back tomorrow and have another (and I am in the mood for sandwiches every day!). The BBQ chips were tasty, a little spicy and sweet. The sweet tea was good, but they ran out and I had to have unsweet. The staff was just there, nothing outstanding about the service what so ever. I love Jimmy John's! This place is great for a quick lunch. Every sandwich that I've tried has been awesome. The french bread is so good!! However, when I want to cut back a little on carbs, then I'll place my order as an "Unwich" (Lettuce Wrap). Even though the bread is my favorite part, an Unwich is still excellent. This last time I went, I ordered a #11 Country Club on French Bread, and added hot peppers and onions. By the time I had placed my order and finished paying, the sandwich was ready in less than a minute. Since the sandwiches are made so quickly, sometimes the lettuce gets a little messy, but it's not a big deal. Other times that I've gone here and ordered an Unwich, I was surprised by how good it tasted. Like I said, the french bread is delicious, but the lettuce wrap is great, too! I have never placed an order for delivery, but several of my co-workers have, and they have always been pleased with the service. And yes, they are fast.
