I've been a fan of Jimmy John's for over 20 years. Since I don't eat fast food, this is one of my go-tos. The app is easy to use and my sandwich is ready before I arrive. I love the huge pickle as it's really flavorful. I mainly get the #12 (turkey/ beach club) but sometimes I opt for just plain turkey so I can add the peppers which are fantastic. I decided to write an overall review for this Jimmy John (JJ) location because I stopped going. The initial greeting is okay however, after that it goes downhill. The staff during the week day was who I am referring to and they had attitudes and did not have that welcoming customer service feeling. During the time period of 2023. I tried my best to endure the attitudes however, the straw the straw that broke the camels back was a turkey sandwich. When I got the sandwich home it had one skimpy piece of turkey on the sandwich and full of lettuce. I now frequent the Jj at the west end of Craig they are a great group. I will write a reverse for that restaurant to reflect the disparity in locations. Unless the day shifts attitudes have changed and the skimpy sandwiches are more desirable I would not go to this JJ location. I'm only being nice giving this review a 3. My hubby and I decided to get something different tonight. That's how we ended here. The customer service was just as dry as my sandwich. We were very specific as to what we wanted on each sandwich and I still had to come home and add mustard ,oil and some vinegar on mine and mayo on my husband's. If I wanted to make us sandwiches I would have done this and not spent $21.45 here. I'm not expecting any service worker to be upbeat and overly friendly all the time but at least act like you want to be at work. Offer some options for new customers. This is the worst Jimmy John's! Multiple times I've ordered through the app for them to call me and say "there is no driver, you can either pick it up or cancel" (but it takes 2-4 days to get your money back. Multiple times they have charged me twice. Every time it takes 20 minutes to get your food. The reason I go back. The food is normally really good! This time, the usual, took 20 minutes to get the food, the service was rude, but the food wasn't even good! I emailed Jimmy John's about the issue. They said they'd have the franchise owner call me. I used to order frim this location very often, at least once a week. Food has been uneven, but the staff is nice. My sandwhich last week got delivered and sat on my desk for a minute as I still had some work to complete. A few minutes in, I noticed an unpleasant odor. I zeroed in on the bag my sandwich was sitting in-ya'll, it REEKED of cigarette smoke. I had to throw away the bag in a different room it was so bad. Sprayed air freshener but the smell persisted, the sandwich wrapper smelled too. I unwrapped my sammy, threw the wrapper away. At this point, I'm just staring at my sandwich wich, sitting on a paper plate. I knew what was coming, yet hope lingered. I took a bite. Ever licked an ashtray? That's what it tasted like. It killed my appetite. I threw it away. I complained to the shop, sent an email to corporate. More than a week later, still no response. While I have no desire for anyone to lose their job, this makes me wonder how long my food was sitting in the delivery driver's vehicle long enough to marinate in cigarette smoke smell, or if he was actively smoking while delivering. I remember being a young and modest college student back in the Midwest, I had a friend that worked at Jimmy John's and would give me free sandwiches. One sandwich isn't enough to fill me up so, I'd pay for another one. I normally get Bootlegger (turkey and roast beef) and Hunter's Club (roast beef). When I'm trying to eat less bread, I'd get these to as an Un-Wich (instead of getting bread, your sandwich is wrapped in lettuce). I usually hate mayo but for some reason, I don't mind it on JJ sandwich. I'd still have a JJ sandwich once a year just to reminisce on the good ol' days. But the sad part about this location is that they're not big on customer service at all. They're pretty rude and they mess up your order. We just went through the drive through and ordered we were not given a total when we got to the window the girl handed us the credit card machine and said it will ask you a question. The screen Said is $23.00 and change okay I pushed yes assuming that was the total however when I got home I looked at receipt the total was $20.00 and change so she added her own tip which is stealing. I used to love Jimmy John's. I don't know what happened to their business model but customer service doesn't seem to be a priority anymore. There is usually some young kid with an attitude working the register. The last time I went into this location I asked if they could warm up the turkey for me (I am pregnant and can not have cold cuts).. the kid looked at me like I was crazy. Then I was greeted by another young kid with an attitude that told me "he could not warm up anything because it was against corporate policy?" I am not sure if that's true but instead of finding a solution to my request (they could have packed the turkey separately and I could have warmed it up at home) - they told me that I could not be helped there. Definitely NOT Freaky Fast.... Ordered 3 times and never will again. Order #1: Ordered 3 sandwiches. Delivered 1 hour late missing one sandwich and the drinks. Order #2: Took 1 hour 30 minutes for food to arrive. No one picked up phone when I called to check the status. Order #3: Called in after order was 1 hour 30 minutes late. Was told the driver had my order and it was going to deliver shortly even though I told lady it shows on their tracker it has not shipped. Called back 45 minutes later and found out it never shipped out. Hungry and Angry I Canceled order and bought food somewhere else. Driver showed up 5 hours later with the food and when we said the order was canceled they took it with them. This is the only Jimmy John location that has never been consistent, client friendly, or reliable that I have ever gone too. I think Jimmy John's Franchise Management needs to look into this location as they are terribly managed and a poor representation of the Jimmy John Franchise. read more

I'm actually kind of surprised to see the comments about poor service here. We stopped in about a week ago, and service was spectacular. Maybe there has been some turn around since the negative comments, or maybe we just caught everyone on a good day... I love Jimmy John's, but we don't eat here very often. No more McDonalds, no more Del Taco (please god, no more tacos for a minute)...my husband says "Isn't there a Jimmy John's somewhere around here?" So, I pulled out my trusty Yelp app, and found this location, a mere 6 minutes from where we were. We got our usuals: The Bootlegger for me, with oregano, and the Gargantuan for my husband. We also applied the 5% off with Yelp check in...which was actually pretty comical. It took 4 people looking at the offer to figure out what to do with it. Apparently its either new, or people don't really take advantage of it often. They were nice about it though, I tried to say that it really wasn't a big deal, but they persisted. Everyone we spoke to there was very nice. The food was great. i love JJ's bread, so much more than other sandwich places. Second time was later the same day and nobody was inside and one employee was sitting on the bench outside and didn't even bother to raise their head. I think they were on drugs??? GOOD This place is FAST...I mean really fast. If you want to grab a sandwich on the go or want to sit down and grab a quick bite. This is my current go to spot for a good sandwich at lunch. The service is friendly and I have never experienced what the "scorned" casual past reviewers had experienced...and I've been here plenty of times to base my review on good service each of the times I've been here. Tables and decor are clean and up modern...not much wear n tear like some sandwich shops Ive been in... BAD Would've given a 5 star to this place but came in one time this month....it smelled like somebody used a dirty mop on the floor. I blame a lazy employee and not the business as a whole for this one time occurence. This location is terrible and the mangers name who is supposedly "AUSTIN" is the worst manager I have ever dealt with and has absolutely the worst customer service. They thought I was on hold but I heard everything that was said. When asked to speak with the manger, he didn't want to get on the phone and said I can come in. So, I work at a hospital down the street from this location- our doctors order food from here daily, and we always sign their credit receipts for them. We just had an order delivered, and the guy honest to god said, in a front of a lobby full of people, that he didn't want us to sign, because "She hasn't left a tip yet, and I want to make sure I get my tip" when asked if he was serious, he said, "Yeah man, I gotta get paid" Wow.
