I placed an online order for pickup at 5:00 p.m. and arrived at 5:05. The restaurant was busy, so I waited to get someone's attention. When I told the employee I was there to pick up my order, he called out my name. I hadn't checked the sandwiches before leaving because I trusted the order instructions would be followed. One sandwich was supposed to be a regular Italian. The other was an Italian with no tomatoes, onions, or cheese. After I got home and opened the packages, I discovered both sandwiches were regular Italians with all the toppings. I immediately took photos of both sandwiches, my receipt, and the online order as proof, then called the restaurant to report the mistake. The response I received was unsatisfactory. I was told I needed to return the sandwiches for them to remake them. I found that unreasonable because the error was theirs, not mine. The employee I spoke with--who gave his name as Sergio--said they were training a new worker who had been making many mistakes. If an inexperienced employee is causing repeated errors, orders should be checked before they leave the restaurant. I told Sergio I wasn't lying and that I had photos and the receipt. He checked and apologized, but said the restaurant policy requires customers to bring incorrect food back in. I explained I live 15 minutes away and had ordered online to avoid the wait; I also noted the cost of gas. I asked for a refund or for them to prepare a corrected sandwich for me to pick up later, but he refused. I asked for the supervisor; he said her name was Amanda and she was not on shift, but might be in tomorrow so I could try then. This situation is unacceptable. The policy and the way the staff handled my complaint should be reconsidered. read more

I have had excellent food and service at this Jersey Mike's, where I have usually ordered a Regular Tuna Sub (#10) for lunch on White Bread, sometimes with cheese and other times plain. But most recently I treated myself to a Regular Original Italian (#13) on Rosemary Parm Bread. I observed that the bread was denser than the traditional White or Wheat Bread, but it had a nice cheesy flavor to it, and some added crunch. I added a few Banana Peppers and pickle chips, plus "Juice" (Red Wine Vinegar & Olive Oil Blend). And I selected a combination meal with Zero Sugar Pepsi and Miss Vickie's Sea Salt & Vinegar Chips. My sub had great freshness and taste. The restaurant was noticeably clean, including a restroom. And in the brightly lit environment I enjoyed reading a magazine as I ate at a table inside. read more

So today was double points day, so of course I had to stop by. I recently saw the apparent viral video of the "Vin" tuna sandwich at Jersey Mike's. I got all the ingredients from the video added to it except for honey mustard (this location doesn't carry it) People on the internet were saying it's the best tuna sandwich ever!! I wouldn't say it was the best because I felt the pickled products over powered the sandwich. However, a tuna sandwich is delicious and I don't feel you can mess it up to be horrible. So while I enjoyed the sandwich, I wouldn't make it like the overrated viral video on the internet again. It was simply too "pickle" tasting. DAMN IT!! Our Nevada Army National Guard group needed 30+ sandwiches prepared on the spot, and not only did Chris and Sam jump right on it, they handled it with professionalism, speed, and great attitudes the entire time. What really impressed me was that they continued to serve walk-in customers with the same level of great service, never missing a beat. They also were able to get us out the door in under 25 minutes! She was so upset she sent me this message: "I literally hate jersey mikes because what the heck do you mean that my sandwich is soggy every single freaking time like oh my gosh I need to go to the place myself and say that the way they made this sandwich is trash and they should not even be considered a place anymore. The sandwich was amazing the first time I ate it and it went so far downhill to the point where it's so disgusting to even eat it. It's like someone drenched the bottom half of my sandwich in water and thought "Yep! This is definitely what the people who order here want!" That is ridiculous. I was even thinking about ordering something else this time but I thought that I would give them one more chance of making my sandwich but NO. I pulled up at 8:45 pm and there was a worker smoking outside the door. As I was walking in behind him he didn't hold the door let it shut in my face and went straight to the back grabbed gloves and was about to make my sandwich. I asked him can you please wash your hands before you glove up, you just smoked. He was mad and threw the gloves down on the floor, washed his hands then threw the napkins he dried off his hands with on the floor. I don't know if he was trying to be intimidating but I asked him "are you ok" he said back "you have 8 minutes. This was an older man caucasian with arm tattoos.
