Being originally from California, finding really great Mexican food has been difficult. My husband loves tamales and I can usually take them or leave them, but this placed completely changed that. Their tamales and birria are top tier! Absolutely phenomenal food and service. We tried this place for the first time yesterday. My husband arrived when they first opened at 11 and then went back at 3pm for more but they were sold out. Went there again today at 11 we are addicted. Was recommended this place from a coworker and my partner and I decided to come check it out. So glad we did! We ordered the tamales (birriaqueso, pollo verde, and rajas) and also the quessabirria taco plato! The wait wasn't long and the food was so delicious! I was excited to try a new birria place. Portions are generous with lots of meat. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The salsas are yummy. Unfortunately, the masa was gummy (like I read about in other reviews), and the tamale fell apart when I unwrapped it. This restaurant is rated 4.9 stars and I can see why-- their tamales are delicious and so are their birria tacos! We've eaten here multiple times, and I think I did a review before, but I decided to do one again because it's that good. The employees are really nice here, and while there's nowhere to eat inside, the parking lot is big enough for you to sit in your car and eat if you want to. I can't believe I work down the street from this place and never tried it before! This place was insanely good! Very limited menu but everything was extremely delicious. I had the 2 birria tacos y tamale special and added sauce, cream & queso fresco. Sooo good. The birria was delicous tender beef and the consome was good. The real star was the cheesy jalapeno tamales chaparita style. One of the best I've had. I wanted to try the pollo verde but they were out. Only thing to note is they do not have seating. The week before Christmas, I tried to place an order for a couple dozen tamales, but they were so backed up because it's a small and very popular family run business that I've heard have the best tamales in town, I finally made the drive from Henderson to try them on Thursday. You enter, place your order at the small counter space and take a buzzer number and wait for it to beep. There is a good selection of tamales, I ordered the quesobirria tamales, pollo, red pork, and rajas. All were amazing, now I have my go to spot for tamales for the holidays. Keep in mind they are closed on Sunday and Monday, I believe the pricing is better if paying with cash, one last thing if you preorder a dozen or half dozen a day or 2 in advance it will be cheaper. read more

I got the chicken tamale. Loaded with flavor and lots of chicken. The chicken to masa ratio surpassed my expectations. The chicken and masa were seasoned to perfection. I loved the crunch of the cheese while the cilantro and onions only added to the already amazing tasting tamale. When in ROME. I had to get the Birra tacos! Even though I was advised how filling the tamale was. The DUNK sauce was packed with flavor and I could have drank it after the tacos had vanished. $10 got me four tacos and a tamale that was more than I could eat. I shared the rest of the tacos with my coworkers and they were IMPRESSED with how good everything was. They loved meat ratio in the tacos!! The Consomé was packed with flavor and we raved about how amazing the food was. Tacos dunked in consome and tamales can be eating intimidating to eat in the car. Don't let eating in the car stop you!! The food is wrapped neatly in a sturdy cardboard box not the cheap styrofoam containers. You can easily cut the tamale and not break through the box(yay)!! The tacos were neatly packed in a larger to go box. We had room to dunk and eat without making a mess. I was given plenty of forks and napkins. Esmeralda is extremely polite and friendly. I felt like I was grabbing food with an old friend. She went over the menu with me in detail and I enjoyed the time she took to share her story with me. It feels great to support a family. It's really cozy inside and their order/pickup system makes everything easy. All their salsas were great and there was so much flavor in everything we tried. The tamales were so soft and moist & the birria was tender. Each taco had one of each salsa on it and I honestly loved both. So much flavor and the right amounts of seasoning the birria so tender and delicious. The consome is on another level. DO NOT WASTE IT DRINK IT ALL!!! This is our 2nd review as its the first time trying their tamales.We just got the Birria tamales and once again they didnt disappoint. There is definitely more meat than most tamales we have ever had i could almost say about double the meat. They are more expensive but you must take in consideration the amount of meat they give you. Been following them for years and now that they're in a location I finally got the chance to visit. I love nachos and these were the best I've had by far! I got them before going over to Broadacres Swapmeet across the street. They were amazingly flavorful. Service is top tier and very quick if you're in a hurry but it was nice talking to the owner. The inside is very simple with no seating but there's a table outside on the patio area but it didn't seem like it belonged to any specific business in this complex. Speaking of which there's a few other small food businesses in this same building such as Sin City Cheesecakes. They're all worth a try. I can't wait to go back. read more
