I'm allergic to jalapenos and my sandwich was a custom order. Those little buggers are in there and this is very painful that I was not expecting them in my sandwich. I order a lettuce-wrapped club tuna with extra onions and banana peppers- you guys should call if you don't have specific items. I had to get 3" down munching on my sandwich just to get tuna and whoever mixed the tuna today totally displaced the tuna with too much mayo. This is the first time they messed up my order and the poor delivery guy probably pissed that I only tip 10% One of the store managers called me up and asked me where to send a gift card for $10 because they made the mistake. I don't live to far from the restaurant and it took about 40 minutes to get to me. The food is very expensive compared to subway and they don't toast your sandwich if asked. They also are trained to ask you if you want to add cheese and avocado making your meal even more expensive. Fast food is fast food it should be cheap otherwise I'd go to like Applebee's and get a steak for the price of your subs. read more

Sigh! I'm not impressed, but I was hungry and I just needed the sandwich from here to fit it's purpose which was to make me not hungry. Everything is extra to add if you want to make the sandwich alternate to the way it's listed on the menu. The veggie sandwich barely comes with anything on it and they ask if you want cheese for $1 extra which basically makes it into the "gourmet" vegetarian sandwich....what makes a sandwich "gourmet" by just adding Provolone cheese?. They used to put bean sprouts on the vegetarian. The veggie has cucumbers, tomatoes, provolone, lettuce, mayo, and avocado spread all which are relatively tastleless. I actually went to the Subway after I got my sandwich to ask for some pickles just to give the sandwich a little pizzazz. Subway was also nice enough to give me some onions as well for free. There is nothing special about the sandwiches and Subway is actually in the next shopping center and has more variety and is less expensive and has better bread. $11 for a meager sandwich and a medium drink. I have been a fan of Jimmy Johns for years, but the last 3 years we haven't lived near one. I was very excited to see one in Puyallup! My first experience was not a good one. The woman who appeared to be the manager was very rude when I asked where the napkins were and made me feel like i was an idiot for not knowing...then even after i had gotten some napkins from a more friendly employee and returned to my seat, she made a point of ' proving how obvious it was'. This 'point' may have been relevant if I had actually received my sandwich from the place she indicated. She continued to glare at me several more times before we left. Since then I have gone back, but used the drive-thru, those have been great experiences. Fast, polite and accurate! read more

My bf and I absolutely love Jimmy Johns. It's a breath of fresh air from having only Subway and Quiznos around. I always get the Italian Night Club and my bf always gets the Gargantuan. Both sandwiches are very tasty, plentiful and priced right. After reading a few of the reviews, I too have seen a high number of employees in the restaurant, but it never once affected my service at JJ's. My first experience with this place and they may do it fast, but if you are unsure what they offer they don't have time to give you any assistance. FYI---they don't let you choose your toppings unless you tell them quicker than they type in your order. My office ordered Jimmy John's for lunch and they completely screwed up our order. We called to say that we were missing sandwiches and they asked that we give them back the sandwiches that were not ours, which we did. They came back to deliver our new sandwiches (which some of which were STILL wrong) and didn't offer us a discount or coupon or even an apology for their error. Then about 20 minutes later, they showed back up at our office, claiming that we had placed a 3rd order. They had gotten their orders mixed up because all of our employees had been together in a meeting. So they actually screwed up yet another customer's order. They don't make a 12 or 16 inch sandwich. You have to buy two 8 inch sandwiches to feed a family. The sandwiches seem to be smaller in circumference than their competitors. The sliced peppers makes the Vito so much better. The bread usually has a crusty exterior, that at times cuts the roof of your mouth. I love that there isn't any cornmeal or anything on the loaves of bread. The only thing I don't like is when they put mayo on the sandwich and it causes the meat to slide from between the bread. read more

Not too bad. My sandwich was great. Got the country club and added capicola and peppers. Good size for the price. The 7 grain bread is good. I got my wife the tuna club. It's the kind of tuna that keeps on giving, ie...tasting onions all night long. Don't get it if you don't like onions. My suggestion for this place is to get a decent kids menu. Normally love JJs! First and last time at this location. We in with family to order and almost left with all the food on floor by garbage and watching employee throw bread and miss garbage. The back side not in picture was covered. We Ordered 4 sandwiches after asking about rewards now and if I could sign up first. She said yeah just after go online and do it. While waiting about 15 min for sandwich's, receipt 1154 and picture took 1206.. went back to register to see how to apply the red wards for 4 sandwiches. I got the response of umm I don't know, don't know if we can do it. She asked someone else and they said nope you have to do it before purchase. Asked if there was a way they could do it as that is why i asked and the lady said no. She said sorry it's new and not able to do it. Would not assist, food was was wrong but at that point I didn't even want to choose the battle over missing ingredients especially for lack or caring. Literally between 8 employees stepping over garbage, not even trying to help with rewards and food wrong will not go back to this location. Hopefully management will address it. read more

I went through the drive thru today and ordered a giant sub for my husband and I. When I received my order they gave me an original. We paid $14 for a giant sub size!!! We come in here all the time and get an original usually so I know exactly what an original size looks like. The woman helping us was named Elizabeth and we told her our order was incorrect that she had given us the original size and we ordered and paid for a giant and she said she had given us the biggest sub size they had. She argued with me continually till I gave up and drove away. My husband will never go there again. Make sure you train your employees better. read more

I don't feel as if they question sometimes when i am there to pickup several mobile orders even though not everyone knows and it looks like i'm some random guy just sitting in the lobby.
