The absolute worst service I have have ever seen. We are literally .4 miles from their location in Steamboat. We placed an order an hour early for delivery. It never came. I called the location 30 minutes AFTER it was scheduled for delivery. The kid on the phone put me on hold for 20 minutes. When he answered he said that they had our order, but it wasn't made yet. And, they had NO deceivers drivers. I asked why they didn't let us know, he responded that they were busy. I asked them to cancel our order and refund our monies. The guy on the phone hung up on me. With ALL of the money that is spent in this town by tourists, you would think that customer service would be priority one in Steamboat Springs. I am very disappointed in Jimmy John's. read more

I can't say our sandwiches were made in the advertised "freaky fast" time, but it was us and another family in the store and we had zero wait. Sandwiches tasted good, no issues. Also, the subway across the plaza closed down and we just wanted something quick, so this was a perfect solution. read more

You can see why these guys have a 1.5 star. I've been going to Jimmy John's for almost 25 years, starting in Charleston, IL. I thought I'd give these guys a chance to redeem themselves by contacting them directly. However, I was only contacted by the corporate website. I ordered The Pepe as an Unwich (lettuce wrap) and literally just got pieces of lettuce and tomato with mayonnaise in it. No cheese, no meat, just lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. This is a great and super efficient t sandwich shop. Service is friendly and food is consistently tasty.

At this location, the employees are overall not very polite compared to other fast food restaurants. They also advertise that they are "freaky fast" which is not the case. The one good thing is that the sandwiches usually are pretty good but besides that the service is just subpar. read more

This location is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. We ordered 5 sandwiches from the manager Chrissy or Christy and went to hike Fish Creek Falls. We get to the top and are all looking forward to our sandwiches but every single one was wrong. We brought the sandwiches back to the store after spending nearly $50. The manager had disappeared leaving the clueless and rude younger employess in charge. The manager was supposed to contact us the following day to refund us our money but we never heard from her. We called again and again and she never picked up nor got back to us. This place sucks. I should have known better now seeing the horrendous reviews. Ok - so we come to SS twice for a week each ski season and didn't know there was a JJ. We had a lazy night and didn't want to leave the hotel. I found out there was a JJ and ordered without thinking twice based on my positive experience with JJ elsewhere. We ordered online for a family of 4 and then decided to read the reviews. Needless to say, the reviews worried me. 31 minutes later, knock at the door, very friendly young kid delivering, and the food was exactly what I expected from past experiences. Simple but delicious. The staff is super friendly! Could tell they were super busy when I came in because I could see all the tickets that was printed out. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they have to not only make the sandwiches, but also get the sides for everybody. Chrissy was awesome! My family and I were in Steamboat Springs this weekend with 55 other families to be with our private school's first soccer game of the season and it was such a nice time until we stopped at Jimmy John's on the way out of town. I have never had such horrible service and I want everyone to know before they walk in to Jimmy John's what they should expect. For starters, when we first ordered a sandwich, we requested a toasted number 16 - the Lulu which is a BLT. The sandwich maker told us, if we wanted a toasted sub, we should take our sandwich to Subway. I thought he was just being funny! Not so much! After that, when I unwrapped my sandwich, the lettuce was missing on my BLT. I asked the guy if he could put lettuce on it, he then grabbed the sandwich and slammed it in to the garbage and proceeded to make a new one. After I received the 2nd sandwich, I unwrapped it and it was missing bacon. I asked the guy where the bacon was and he gave me a look like i was putting him out and he asked for my sandwich back. Knowing that he would be throwing that sandwich in the trash, I said, why don't you just give me the bacon on the side and I'll add it myself which he did but it was cold bacon. Moving on . . . my daughter was waiting on her sub that she had ordered separately, and the guy never made it. I only realized this, when another customer behind us received her two sandwiches before my daughter got hers. I asked him, how much longer will my daughter's sub take and he said, I don't have a ticket for that sandwich but I had paid for it 10 minutes earlier. The sandwich maker's co-worker, said, yes she did pay for it, so lets make it now. I wish I had recorded this employee's demeanor and behavior and the looks that he kept giving us like we were putting him out for requesting a sandwich. In all my years of customer service, I have never had such horrific and disrespectful food service. Seriously, how hard is it to make a BLT? Jimmy John's is a place that my family continues to brag about and this being my first time there, I can easily say, I will never return. My hopes in writing this review is to let every customer know what they are walking in to before they spend their hard earned cash. read more

Just terrible. I understand it's steamboat and hard to hire but then stop taking delivery orders. The manager was the only delivery driver. They made our sandwiches wrong. It took over an hour to get there. Then they would not just credit the wrong sandwich but insisted on delivering to us but we were gone by the time they could bring it back. After more than a year of not ordering from this Jimmy John's because of previous bad service, I decided to try again. Just as bad as before. Out of three orders, the first was completed correctly. The second was cancelled by the store because they decided to close early. The third was delivered incomplete and the store has yet to refund my money or contact me even after my communications with Jimmy John's corporate offices who reached out to the Steamboat store asking that they contact me. So, bottom line, they stole my money. Stay away from this local franchise. It is incompetent and they steal money. read more

Horrible service! The young guy at the register greeted us with "Know what you want" and those were the only words spoken by him. He very obviously is miserable at his job. The lady who made our order called out 2 of our 3 sandwiches when they were ready, I waited a couple mins for the 3rd, thinking she was still working on it. A third unhappy employee asked what I needed, told him a sandwich was missing from our order, the lady behind the counter said yes, she had forgotten it & literally threw the sandwich on the counter in front of me.
