I don't know why this place has bad reviews... I've been here twice in the last 2 weeks and it's been good. It's a sub place... I get the turkey Tom with just about everything on it, and it's been consistently good both times and the staff is nice. They are fast with the order and helpful. I love their turkey sub... sooo good!

I've had Jimmy Johns a few times at banquets and other functions but I've never ordered it on my own or reviewed one before. JJ's is similar to Subway in that most of their subs are cold. I don't believe they even have a toaster for the entire sub, just certain toppings that require heating up. Sandwich sizes are smaller overall, they don't go beyond 8''. I don't even think they have sandwiches other than 8'' ones. The difference between their Plain Slims (just bread and meats), 8'' Sub Sandwiches (all toppings), and Giant Club Sandwiches (double toppings of 8'' Sub Sandwiches) are the quantity of toppings between the bread. I ordered the Giant Italian Nightclub ($6.69) which contains Genoa salami, capicola, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo & an Italian vinaigrette. I ordered online but service could have been better with regards to filling my order as it was put through but they didn't notice it until I arrived there. Nonetheless, the employees were nice and made my order promptly. Despite being 8'', I found that it wasn't as filling as an Italian from Firehouse and Subway sandwiches. Maybe I was more hungrier than usual but then again JJ sandwiches aren't as big as other chains overall. Sandwiches still aren't too pricey and are better options for lunch than dinner in my honest opinion. In any case, next time I come here or to another JJ location to review, I'd like to try some of their other sandwiches. It's nestled in a busy plaza with other eateries and businesses across from Nino Salvaggio's so it could be tough to find. Overall, though it has it's own unique taste that's worth checking out!

Walking into Detroit 75 Kitchen in Madison Heights for a quick lunch, my expectations were high!…read moreFrom a visual standpoint, the food looks simply irresistible on social. Before I even got to the food, the restaurant itself made a great first impression. The property is incredibly well maintained inside and out. There's a spacious outdoor patio for Michigan summer days, along with plenty of indoor seating ranging from communal tables for larger groups to individual booths if you're flying solo. It's a thoughtfully designed space that feels welcoming no matter why you're there. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll admit something that surprised me. I've been to Detroit probably 50 times, and I honestly can't remember ever hearing about a Detroit-style cheesesteak. Judging by the walls covered in awards and accolades, though, it's clearly something they're known for. The sandwich certainly sounds like a winner on paper: ribeye and sirloin, provolone and Swiss cheeses, roasted mushrooms and peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapeños, aioli, house-made vinaigrette, all served on a freshly baked sesame roll. I mean... what's not to love? Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn. The ingredients themselves are good. The flavors are there. The problem is the execution. The ratios are simply off. The freshly baked roll completely dominates the sandwich, overwhelming everything inside it. The steak gets lost between all that bread, and instead of each bite showcasing the beef, cheese, and vegetables working together, the bread becomes the star--and that's not what you want from a cheesesteak. I do want to give credit where it's due. The portions are generous, and I especially appreciated that they take the time to make their own dipping sauces for the fries. Little details like that don't go unnoticed. There are plenty of positives here, and it's easy to see why Detroit 75 Kitchen has earned such a loyal following. But as someone who takes sandwiches seriously, I think this one is technically flawed. A great sandwich is all about balance, and for me, this one never found it. I genuinely wanted to love it. This sandwich lover just couldn't get behind the way it was built.

I wasn't too annoyed but my parents hadn't eaten all day so they were a little annoyed (and there was an engagement party going on) We ordered quite a few things so here's my run down: - skip the rangoons - skip the Korean bowl entree (not pictured) - skip the shawarma burrito - skip anything that had rice honestly :/ - GET THE CHICKEN PARM!!! (With the Alfredo, it was so so good) - GET THE TROY CHEESESTEAK! So mad I didn't order it as my entree. - the pastas are good! Pretty solid choices. - Marsala came with very good mashed potatoes. - the truffle fries were delicious too!! - the ranch was delicious! /5 ** I deducted a point because of the wait & the rice being really bad. Other than that, I will come back.

I want to come back here and I'm bringing the crew. Parking is scares so keep that in mind. They can accommodate large groups. They have a huge menu with plenty of options. I'll be back and I just might bring the crew with me.

I went with a lavender lemonade which was sweet and tart, a little floral but in a good way. Also ordered the buddha bowl which was super disappointing. Not much flavor and dry. Needed a different or more dressing. Cheese quesadilla off the kids menu was okay as well, came with a store bought apple sauce cup. But the sweet potato fries were amazing. Great flavor and had a crunch to them, not soggy. I will say the portions were pretty big.

Relative to their hard liquor, it would appear by in large that the larger formats of 750 mL on up are for the most part are at state minimum prices. This is always one of the key criteria for me when looking for liquor stores in addition to a large selection to choose from. Main purpose of my visit here was in obtaining a bottle of Combier orange liquor, which is my go to orange liquor when making my Blanco margaritas. This particular liquor is extremely hard to find in Michigan where in the past I had to order it online, which is no longer an option due to the Michigan out of state liquor restrictions. This liquor definately falls into the Boutique criteria where it is very difficult to find in most liquor shops in Michigan, which should give you an indication of the types of wines and liquors that this business carries. Additionally, they offer you the ability to order online if they dont have it in stock, at state minimum prices, which I took advantage of as they only had one of the four bottles I was looking for. Nice! Most liquor shops will not go through the hassle of doing this but this business did and with no deposit required. Double nice!! Overall this is an excellent liquor shop that offers great selection, at good prices and goes out of the way to take care of the customer. I will definately be shopping here again in the near future!

We ordered the Whipped Feta Dip to start and I got the Falafel meal and hubby got the fish sandwich meal. The Feta dip came out first. They allowed us to order half soft and half crunchy pita chips to go with it. The dip is drizzled with honey which makes for a very good sweet and savory taste combination. We both really loved this and thought it could serve as a dessert as well. My Falafel meal came with a choice of salad and a side. I chose the Greek Salad and the Roasted Red Potatoes. Hubby also thought the fish was really fresh - it came with chips and a choice of side. He chose fresh fruit - pineapple, grapes, and melon. I am sorry I haven't stopped here sooner.
