SURPRISINGLY SATISFIED! After coming to this Jimmy John's location for several times now, I'm sad that I always grew up going to Subway if I ever went to a sandwich fast food place and never stepped foot in a Jimmy John's location. Growing up in a big city, there were always Subway locations closer and I had heard that Jimmy John's is expensive. What I discovered was that Jimmy John's is great if you are NOT a vegetarian. They do have a veggies sandwich option but this place is clearly if you like meat sandwiches. Not being a vegetarian, I love their beach boy sandwich with extra avocado spread and their own JJ-branded chips are a refreshing yummy treat away from typical big chip brands that Subway and grocery stores sell you. Their cookies are also some of the best cookies I've ever bought in this town (I know it sounds strange), especially their chocolate chip cookie. If you come to JJ's, you HAVE to try their barbecue or jalapeño chips, AND their chocolate chip cookie. It's worth the extra couple of dollars! I also find the service to be really friendly and quick every time I have come here. I've never had a negative experience and if you watch the employees during lunch rush hour, they make those sandwiches as fast possible for making a clean, quality sandwich. While I have taken most of my sandwiches to go, I have also eaten inside and this JJ location is clean. I've never felt odd or unsafe eating in here and definitely recommend dining in if you're not in a rush. Overall, I don't know why this place has such negative reviews. This place is very inconsiderate. They rejected a large group I was apart of because they claimed they didn't have enough bread to feed us. Also that the are prioritizing their drive through customers. Get this, there was NO ONE in their drive through. This happened not only once but twice. Soon after ordering my food the Superman of jimmy johns knocked on my door to give me my food and also to let me know my apartment was on fire... like ACTUALLY ON FIRE. After looking out my door and seeing flames coming out of my next door neighbors window I realized he wasn't kidding! He really just delivered a sandwich to a burning building. My neighbors apartment is destroyed and in the midst of running out of my house I forgot my food/ wasn't able to eat it. Easily the best Jimmy John's I've ever been to. My wife and I drive down from Tri-Cities to visit her parents in Walla Walla two to three times a month. We always stop here for lunch because the food is fantastic. Today we met the owner, and now we know why the food is so good. He really goes the extra mile to make sure that the food is fresh and tastes great. You can really tell that he and his staff really I want to give you a great dining experience. Mike Hayne's is the owner of this Jimmy John's and his positive attitude is 1000% reinforced through his employees. The unwiches are the way to go. Efficiency and time are their expertise, so the lack of readily available bread means they're saving money on cost wages. Walla Walla is a small town, and although Jimmy Johns is delicious, they have to be practical. Working there I remember complaining about all the bread we used to through away, and during that time, Jimmy John's wasn't allowing the staff to give the bread to anyone other than the trash can. I'm happy to see that they have fixed that problem, even if it means not having readily available bread. If Ciara is still working there, she's the sexy girl with lots of tats, she'll make sure you feel just as welcome as if you were home making the sandwich yourself. read more

Had a #3 tuna yesterday at this restaurant. I noticed who I believe was the manager had long finger nails that had dirt under them when he came to the front counter. To be fair the sandwich makers were wearing gloves but if this guy was the manager I'd say he doesn't know much about hygiene and sanitary conditions. Very fast but that was about it. Got the "Big John" and it was actually not very big. It was also quite weak on the roast beef. This is the first time I've ordered from them and it will be the last. 10.00 for a sandwich (counting a 2.00 tip) that doesn't fill me up is not going to cut it. I used to think this place was a pretty good place for a sub but once I found out how horrible the service was from the Manager I got very discouraged. I have a client how is disabled and tried to use them to deliver a sandwich because lack of transportation. Well first they kept changing on where they could deliver one time yes she was in the area they could then the next it was a no then again a yes. Not sure they know for sure where they can deliver to. Biggest complaint is that they won't deliver to this disabled patient anymore and are very rude to them when they inquired why. Great food and fast delivery. The only big down fall i have on this place is that its the only one in town and i called and. Placed an order for myself at work and they said they'd have it right out the door for me and have it here soon. End of conversation. First time visiting this newly opened location & was excited to try them out. I was taken aback by the rudeness of the staff; and not just one but three that I interacted with. Ok, they are just open maybe a bit stressed. Prices were comparable with similar sandwich shops and delivery is a plus. Service is very fast. Food was good but not exceptional. Overall, I prefer Subway. Given other options at a comparable price, I'm going to stick with the guys who greet me when I come in the door and at least make me believe it's not an inconvenience to serve me. read more

This is one of the worst I have ever been to, we were informed that they had no French bread just wheat or lettuce, there was no excuse since the there were 3 employees working and we were the only customers.
