We were craving sandwiches and Jimmy John's is pretty consistent in terms of meeting expectations. We ordered take out for lunch last Friday around noon, there were several people working and our order was ready quickly. Restaurant was clean. I ordered the toasted roast beef and cheddar on a whim as it sounded delicious, but it was a snot disappointing when I went to eat it and it was missing the crunchy onions - I also should've added hot peppers as it was bit bland. I love the chips, the kettle cooked chips are thick and full of flavor. We'll be back, but I'll likely just stick with a regular roast beef sandwich next time. Plenty of parking in a shared lot out front and full lot out back. read more

Dude butchered my sandwhich when I opened it the cheese wasn't even in the bread, and forgot my Jimmy peppers, and put like 2 pickles. Sloppy mess. Terrible. Saddest part is these sandwhichs aren't cheap, and the Jimmy peppers are the best part. Do better. read more

I love Jimmy John's, but this specific location needs to be avoided at all cost. This is the 3rd time I have given this location a chance, and yet again they failed miserably. 1st attempt: forgot the mayo and oil/vinegar. Bread was obviously old as well. I could choke down about half of the #9 before I had to throw it away. 2nd attempt: got the #9 (this is my go to). The sandwich had a smell to it and the meat looked slimy, but I did notice this until 2 bites in. Threw it away after that. Ended up with food poisoning like symptoms that I am pretty sure were due to this. 3rd (and absolutely final) attempt: ordered #9. Was basically ignored while I was there. Customer behind me got their sandwich before me. (Yes I only had 1 sandwich). Got half way home and noticed they forgot the peppers. Drove back and got the peppers. Got home and yet again the meat was slimy/smelly and the bread was old, after one half-bite, I immediately remembered the awful taste from last time and threw it away. The Jimmy John's off of Renner in Garland, the one in Plano off Jupiter, basically every other JJs have been great, EVERY TIME, but this place is the exact opposite. This owner needs to sell his franchise spot, or Jimmy John's corporate needs to step in and get this specific location back in order. I strongly suggest you stay away from this location until they fix their issues. Otherwise a terrible taste and an extended amount of time on the toilet is in your future. read more

I've ordered from this location dozens of times in the last year and I don't know why I never learn my lesson. Delivery always takes 45 minutes - 2 hours. Every time I call to ask where the delivery is, they tell me they're short staffed and only have one driver. Tonight was the final straw. The app said my order was delivered but it wasn't at my door when I checked. I called the store and he told me that the app probably "timed out" and said it was delivered, but the order was still on the way. (This was 1 hour and 15 minutes after I placed my order). After another 20 minutes with no order and no call back, I called the store again and told him to cancel my order. He said the delivery driver said the order was delivered. Implying that I was lying??? I told him to cancel the order and he did. He called me back 5 minutes later to say he had "questioned the driver more and she said that she dropped it off at the house across the street." So not only did I wait 2 hours for any sort of resolution, my food had been sitting outside for 40 minutes AND it was at the wrong address. Still no apology from the store. My kids were napping so I paid the extra $6-$7 because I couldn't leave the house. $15 sandwich and the meat was old and dry, the tomatoes were white in the middle so they are almost hard. I really like sandwiches and am a vegetarian so I have had the pleasure of tasting most of the vegetarian options around town. Their veggie sandwich is my favorite. I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff. When I have picked up big orders they have always been very attentive to each of the different sandwich combinations I had for them and I have never experienced a mistake with any of them. This restaurant does not adhere to the freaky fast motto. I have given them several times thinking maybe it was a bad day. Each time I've had an issue. Where has all the service gone? In the day and age of conveniences this place provides a quality product with poor service. We ordered sandwiches today for lunch and need an additional side of the dressing. I walked up to the counter to ask for a side and was met with "We don't do that. We don't have anything to put it in" I suggested a water cup and was again told "We don't do that. Would you like to buy a cup?" Ok-how is it that you are in a service industry but can't find a way to accommodate a simple request. Crazy Should you not try to find a way to help your customers? I've been ordering from this store for years. They have screwed up my orders before but because I really love their sandwiches and always fixed their errors, I've continued to order from them. Tonight they took my money online and didn't deliver my food. I tried calling the store several times and they never answered. It appears they closed early and I won't get my order now, despite them taking my money. I have eaten here several times since they opened a few months ago but withheld reviewing to see if they would get their act together, but I am sorry to report that they have not. The service: part of the experience of a typical JJ's is the casual and fun atmosphere. Expect none of that here in Wylie. Instead, be prepared for rude and dispassionate employees who are utterly disinterested in their jobs. How dare you inconvenience them by coming in and placing a sandwich order! The food: The sandwiches are always great (the bread!) but they have yet to make my sandwich right the first time. Mustard instead of mayo will seriously throw them for a loop. Sad because I love jimmy johns and this is the closest one to my house. We went on Sunday around noon and I am pretty sure we had day old if not longer bread. IT.WAS.SO.CHEWY. Like ridiculously rubbery. We fed our family of 5 there, and no one was happy. Hate having to feed my kids at home after I pay $40+ to feed them at a restaurant. But they couldn't chew the bread. The subs were of average taste, but the service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The order took a while due to our complicated address, but once it got here, the order was completely screwed up in terms of special instructions. We asked for no tomatoes and we got tomatoes. We asked for no onions and we got onions. The driver almost forgot to ask for the money at the end. We were later given free subs from the manager, who was very accommodating, but the order was yet again messed up. We received the wrong type of bread and they forgot the other sub. I can understand the mistakes happen, but having it happen twice is just awful service. The staff have good intentions and were not rude at all. I recently stopped by here on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I go to or order Jimmy John's for their freaky fast subs and they never let me down. That's what they are all about. I don't think they will ever be the greatest sub I've ever had but they offer a good sub, good service, and seriously crazy fast. Anyways, I particularly enjoyed this store because I got exactly what expected as always and then some. The staff at this store were overly friendly, helpful, and all during a busy lunch rush. They took the time to make my suggestions to my friend that had never been their before, even suggested some secret changes and suggestions that they use when they order their own sandwich.
