We loved everything about this place! Summertime is a great season to explore places far and away especially rest for great food. ‍ As I was searching for farms and produce stands, I noticed this business and since I love pancakes here, there and everywhere, I planned a day away that included farm stands, backroad NJ scenic driving and fruity pancakes. Due to circumstances beyond my control, we arrived at noon on Thursday, breakfast ended at 11am and so we pivoted to lunch items that included a Boars Head cheesesteak, chips and pickle plus a really tasty cheeseburger . As we were leaving, my husband decided on a large chocolate peanut butter milkshake which he deemed awesome. (Thanks Todd for stepping in and making one) We stopped at our pre planned list of farm stands and headed home. Very next day, Friday, up at dawn to get a few chores out of the way so we could head out to Gronsky's for the day #2 breakfast deadline! I prefer sitting at the counter and watching their magician, Tyler, assemble the food for orders, crack open the eggs, drop the pancake batter in the proper corner and keep all meats aligned for the plates. He's the king of that kitchen and each one of those servers is the queen doing the hustle, bustle, slide to the left, back up and move forward like square dancers on the move. From the Taylor ham, provolone and fried egg sandwich on that FRESH Kaiser roll to the omelette with those delicious home fries and my PEACH PANCAKE . . . . all of it was their special take on breakfast served their way. Almost 50 years, folks! Prices are absolutely reasonable for how the food is prepared and presented, quality ingredients cooked according to diners' specifications. What more can you ask for? Our Corvette club stopped by Gronsky's Milk House after our monthly Wednesday night cruise. Since we arrived after 2pm, only the ice cream menu was available. It was very busy when we got there, but they had three employees working between the walk-up window and the inside counter, so the line kept moving. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made it easy for our group to find places to sit and enjoy our ice cream. Even with the crowd, the staff did a good job keeping up with the orders and everything moved along efficiently. If you're looking for a classic spot to grab some ice cream on a warm evening, Gronsky's is definitely worth a stop. read more

So, we hit up Gronsky's Milk House for a late breakfast around 11, and guess what? We got seated right away! Totally wasn't expecting that since this place is usually very busy. The food was amazing as always. I kept it simple with a plain pancake, but man, it was anything but plain they are huge, fluffy, and full of flavor. My husband insisted it was so good because they use real quality butter. My favorite thing was the bacon....finally, someone knows how to do it right. It was crispy, just how I like it, not that limp, chewy mess you get at other spots. I also got the potatoes and they were seasoned to perfection. The staff was super friendly and on point, which gave the place a really friendly laid back vibe. First time for my hubby, and even with his picky tastes, he was all smiles. I went to Gronsky's Milk House for breakfast this morning, because I wanted to try their breakfast burrito. The burrito is huge! Bacon, scrambled eggs, home fries and pepper jack cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with salsa. Outstanding! I didn't get the pancake of the month, which is mint chocolate chip, but let me tell you the pancakes are huge! April will be carrot cake pancakes and I will definitely be ordering one! I sat at the counter and had a nice conversation with some very nice ladies that grew up in the area. Staff is super busy but very accommodating! I went to Gronskys while visiting a friend. Cute, cozy local spot to enjoy breakfast with a store at the front with milk, ice cream and some grocery items and coffee bar. We waited about 15 minutes for a table it was very busy on a Saturday morning. We were seated at the bar and both ordered the breakfast bowl! I asked for potatoes well done and breakfast sausage. Everything came out within 10 minutes. One of the cooks was pretty friendly when he dropped our meals off and said this was one of their most popular dishes. It looked spectacular! Flavor wise we needed some work the eggs well they were eggs so no problems there but the potatoes weren't crisp and they had no flavor, the butterflied sausage was perfect! I asked for some salsa and that helped jazz it up a bit. It was a large portion my friend and I honestly could have shared. Visited Gronskys around 11 on a Saturday. Despite being busy, the two of us waited a short 15 min for an inside table. Our waitress and another waitress were very friendly, accommodating and had perfect timing when checking in on us. The staff behind the bar top were also friendly and interactive with us! The breakfast bowl with pork roll/taylor ham was amazing. Perfect mix of all of the ingredients and very filling! Probably could've saved some for later but it was just too good and the bowl was empty by the time we left. Highly recommend and we will be back! Had many people tell me in the comments of my video's that I needed to try this place so the next time I was passing anywhere near here, I came! Gronsky's is set off of Route 31 a bit but it's far more quiet than the highway area and sits on a nice little stream. It was quite cold when I went but I could imagine it being nice to sit at one of the picnic tables outside and enjoy my food or ice cream. I did see they had a full ice cream setup and that is probably their main draw, but today I am here for the "Jersey Meat", Egg, and Cheese sandwich. Jersey meat = Taylor Ham/Pork Roll, I just refuse to argue about the name of it. 3 slices of the meat, nice roll, plenty of cheese. I would say this was a solid stop and I would regret coming here and making the purchase. The sandwich was $8 and it is cash only. I believe they accept Venmo as well, but I had cash so it was a non issue. I need to go back for some ice cream on a nice day but for now I'll say that Gronsky's Milk House - Didn't Suck! I love this place but rarely get the chance to go when it's NOT busy. On a weekend, you almost always have to wait. That's how good it is! The pancakes are a staple. Good chew on them. Great flavor. Today, I got the Hash and Eggs. Soooo good. REAL corned beef! A little on the greasy side but that's because I had them nix the potatoes that go in it. I can't rave about it enough. Great place with a hometown feel & fun cow decor. Great chatter amongst the locals. Kinda feels like a place where everyone knows your name. They also have ice cream. Small local place that I frequent rarely because it's a little out of the way. Friendly service. Omelette's were above average quality and very large. Bacon is typical diner bacon, thin, streaky & crispy, not the thick meaty rashers I look for! Coffee is typical NJ diner quality so not great. The Hash and Eggs are unbelievable! Homemade corned beef hash. They are always busy but the service doesn't suffer.

Place is nice and very relaxing. We did stop for soft ice cream and it's good. Serving size is big and price is competitive. Service was good and the staff are mostly young people and very friendly. We had a nice stop eating soft ice cream. We will be back next time to dine in because at this time they only serve ice cream and desserts. read more

we stopped by for an ice cream fix after dinner one evening; it was our first time at this establishment. The ice cream options were fantastic with some creative flavor combinations. it was well worth the stop. The ice cream tasted amazing! Unfortunately, we arrived 10 minutes before closing and, while the young lady who waited on us was super sweet and friendly, the person-in-charge (owner?) seemed annoyed and abrupt. It's located near a small stream and picnic tables are set up to enjoy your ice cream with the sounds of the river. Prices are a little bit high, but the flavors are great. Nice little "greasy spoon" near Clinton. I loved the location right in the water with plenty of seating outside and inside. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Great atmosphere inside and out. We visited on July 3 and the kitchen was closed so we only could get ice cream. We split a sundae and the ice cream was great. We wished they had a different container because as soon as we walked out the door the Cherry fell off onto the ground and we had to scramble to eat the top layers that didn't fit in the cup. They have hot fudge and wet walnuts though I only tasted chocolate. We had the Chocolicious, mint chip And chocolate peanut butter. Now a Taylor Ham, egg and cheese isn't exactly rocket science. Sure you can mess it up with a stale roll or overcooking the meat. But I figured how good could it be to be mentioned as one of the best in New Jersey? Well all I have to say is wow. I don't know what they do, but they make a sublime Taylor ham egg and cheese. The other food is good too. I love their home fries and their hash and eggs has to be one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere. Same for the "breakfast bowl". This was our first time at Gronksy's but definitely not our last! I don't believe the icecream is made in house but it's absolutely delicious nonetheless! They had a decent selection of flavors with a couple classics and some fun ones like this coconut flavor, lemon bar, blueberries and cream and more. The icecream wasn't overly sweet and was EXTREMELY creamy. There's nothing worse than hard icecream that's too hard. The texture of theirs was perfect! It's a small icecream place with a decently sized cafe in the back. The girls at the icecream counter were very sweet and extremely attentive. Not Wheelchair Accessible as stated in their info. Unfortunately, we can't review their food because we drove all the way there because their info stated they are wheelchair accessible - which they are not. They have a short, incline leading to their front door (which when I spoke to them they said that's why they are accessible) however, there is no way to get to it because the entire building has a curb all the way around it. (approx 3-4 inch curb/step up.). There is a small curb cut area in the rear (that the owner also mentioned to me) but it is not accessible because they have a bunch of stuff blocking it (large planters with trees etc) so the space to get thru is not wide enough for a wheelchair at all. Add that to absolutely no handicap parking - so for someone with a ramped wheelchair van that's a problem also. I'm sure the food is great, location looked pretty by the water, but do not list yourself as wheelchair accessible when it's not true. read more
