The first time we ordered breakfast was decent and good. Today we ordered for a second time and ordered the delicious sounding (and looking, according to online menu) chorizo breakfast tacos. We were excited for them. Between the chorizo, pico, and spicy mayo, we thought it would be a wonderful taco. Both of our orders were missing half the ingredients. If it weren't for the chorizo, the eggs and potato would have had no flavor. I had to add my own jar salsa to give some freshness. The cinnamon French toast was good. But the cheesy grits tasted like water and had no seasoning. If you order eggs and pancakes/French toast or any traditional breakfast, you're safe. Single best breakfast my daughter and I have ever had. The restaurant reminds me of an old fashion cafe. Comfortable atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Great team work and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I dine here every Sunday morning after our workout. We usually get the Almost Healthy Skillet with Hash brown. Food is usually good, service on the other hand is hit or miss. There's a server that always gives 100% (unfortunately, I can't remember his name) he makes our visits to Jimmy's Eggs memorable. The meals are reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. Stopped in to Temple to visit my mom and this is the third visit to this location. As the place was busy, you are asked to seat yourself. We sat in a booth that needed to be cleaned and figured we would be noticed by at least one of the waiters. Instead, we were ignored. If the waiters weren't near the kitchen talking amongst themselves, they would stop and visit with other tables at length. Two waiters stopped and had a conversation with the table behind us. I realize the food industry is stressful and desperately needs people, but after almost 20 minutes without being noticed we got up and left. Living in Temple for 16 years and coming back to visit reminds me of how easy it is to be ignored if you don't look like a local. We are crossing Jimmy"s Egg off our list of places to eat. read more

Not their best effort today. Everything was very slow. From taking our order to the our food arriving at our table. Waitress rarely checked on us during the long wait for our food. When food arrived it was cold and the order was wrong. I had to flag down our waitress as she never checked on us after the food was delivered. They remade the food and while it was still slightly wrong, it was hot. I went there for the first time today, 11/1/2021. Luckily I read the reviews before entering & saw the post about them not having butter for their pancakes, french toast & waffles. I asked the waiter about this after sitting down & he said he thought they had butter but he'd check. The small packages he brought back to the table were exactly what was posted earlier - vegetable oil - YUCK!! I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast - it was mediocre AT BEST; it didn't even taste sweet. I don't know how French Toast can be messed up, but they did it. Not sure I'll return. Only gave them 2 stars because of the kindness & good service from the waiter - ask for Tyler, he was great! read more

They were sweet enough and chicken moist enough no syrup was needed. The french toast was delightful as well as the pancakes. Worst food from a Jimmy's Egg we've ever had. Came to Texas to see my mother for Mother's Day and ordered delivery. Ordered the Biscuits and Gravy Omelette. Came with no gravy... and the sausage crumbles used in the omelettes tastes rancid. Home fries were half-cooked (still crunchy) and completely unseasoned. I know it had blue berry topping but it was supposed to be hot. But the whole thing was cold and soggy. I don't know if it sat waiting on other things to finish cooking or what. I ate it still. The portions were kinda small for the prices. 3.29 for a small cup of milk... idk to me that was a little steep. The grits and corned beef hash portions were very small. I've been going on a regular basis for my Pot Roast Benedict. Order it all the time through Menufy at least once a week if not more which seems to be what is attached to them. In the past when I've tried calling nobody answers. In the past items have been missed. Yesterday my order said ASAP and would be ready by11:14AM and I worked at noon. I arrived by 11AM went in and saw to go boxes in a bag on the counter and on the shelf out of the kitchen. The cook entertained me and I appreciated his eye contact. Not his job to help me. Have you ever felt INVISIBLE? Over 15 minutes past. 3 of the 4 people on never even set eyes on me. They did not look or engage. I always tip for my order when I pick up too. I can describe each and every one. The youngest one there finally came and helped me only to find out the one with her hair up and a sour face had written 11:56 on my ticket stating that's what the order said. I'm thinking the order sitting ready that didn't show for the 25 minutes I was there was probably the 11:56 order. I took a screen shot. I asked to cancel my order. Then one who I could not believe had ignored me the whole time said I had to cancel through menufy. I let them know at the location. They did not cook it. They had the ticket and they charge my card and make the money. I went to menufy and when I clicked cancel order it gave me their phone number they never answer. I have NEVER been made to feel so INVISIBLE and that I don't matter anywhere as bad as that. Had they got to me right away maybe they could have done something. I didn't have time to stop for coffee I had to go straight home leaving there at 11:30AM. I contacted Corporate and cricket's. I'd speak to a manager but if there manager was there then the manager is the problem. It was quick and easy money for them. Nobody should feel INVISIBLE ever. We have been going to Jimmy's Egg in Killeen since it opened and found it to be perfect and did not think that excellence could be repeated. But we were wrong as the new Jimmy's Egg in Temple is identical to the one in Killeen. Regina and Jim have managed to put together another excellent eating establishment with nothing less than Great food, prices and an excellent team of great people. Highly recommend that all that have not been to either of the Jimmy's Egg establishments to please go as you will find it is by far the best experience you can have for eating out. read more

Coffee was sad, breakfast skillets were slightly raw and bland and the blueberry pancakes were covered in cold blueberry pie filling that resembled the texture of candle wax. read more

This was an average experience. Staff was nice, food slow in arriving and omelet was luke warm, side of steamed broccoli was too salty. The noise and shouting of orders was not to my liking. i went with my boys today waited 30 mins before I even got asked for drinks. then that person went and told waitress that we been sitting there for a while and she still took 15 mins to come take our order. the other waitress actuall stopped and appologized and got us our drinks and even told the other waitress she needed to get to us asap, in that 15 mins she helped a person at the counter by taking her order, mind you she had just walked in, then when she finally came to take our order I asked her how much of a wait it's going to be and she couldnt even give me an answer. instead of walking back and saying hey how long of wait is food to get out she just looked at me and said I don't know. I told her not to worrie about it and got up and left. I have seen that place busier the. that and only have two waitresses and gotten better service then I did today. if I ever decide to go back i will be asking for a waitress that is not that waitress. worst service I have had there ever. read more
