Was sat at it took 30 minutes just to get service. Good was average at best. Was not impressed with the food or service. I was so disappointed I ended up eating something else later.

Had dinner out earlier this week and decided to check out Jimmy's American Grill. I live in the area but hadn't come to Jimmy's since they rebranded some time ago from Alstarz Sports Bar. The place is absolutely enormous and despite the packed parking lot, we were seated immediately in a large side dining room which has a second full sized bar. We had plenty of space and it was nice to not be in a crowded area. Service was great. She was busy but we always knew she hadn't lost track of us. We ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and the steak & blue salad. Food was very good and overall experience assured that we'll be back again soon.

Jimmy's never disappoint! We've been here 4 times so far and every time the service is great, the food is very good and the whole atmosphere of this place is just great, relaxed and chill. The portions are huge, the prices are very reasonable Definitely be back again again and again ...

Quality food but business practices shifty. Weekend's have become more limited with brunch menu choices with only 20 some items compared to the full breakfast menu they had.

I'll be trying this place again, I'm just hoping they had an off day. This is my first time here. We ordered the bases loaded skins (potato skins) and the server kept saying hey they're almost out, then our meals showed. They tried to bring out the skins right after and asked if we just wanted to take them to go or to remove from the receipt. We would have brought them home but we asked for no scallions and they were loaded all over it, so we said no and to remove from the receipt. I ordered the chicken parm on ciabatta bread, the sauce from the marinara sauce was loaded with onions and to be honest didn't really have much flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a great amount of cheese, just bummed about the marinara. The fries were the star of the show though - those things were amazing. I just moved to the area so I'll def give it another shot.

After an event my husband hosted here tonight and in an attempt to make sure I ate (we all know how that goes lol), he called and asked if he could bring something home. Sure I said thinking that I was going to get run of the mill bar food that would be a waste of money. BOY WAS I WRONG. He ordered me the large fried shrimp. It came with a salad, and they added some asparagus for me. When I say that this food was fresh, cooked perfectly, not greasy, and the asparagus was some of the best I've had - I mean it! Just wow. I'm a picky eater. Very picky. I asked where you were located (exactly) so that we could come back! I have a picture here that by no means represents the taste (the steam hit it on the ride home). See you soon!

I have extended family that visits NJ twice a year. We always plan a lunch together so we catch up. We have been meeting in the Bordentown area because it is a midway point for those driving. So six months ago we were served some undercooked food at our regular place( they did not charge us for the food and did everything reasonable to keep us happy) but we decided to try Jimmy's American Grill which is very close by. Jimmy's shares a massive parking lot with the other place. They have a grand entrance, a large bar, patio and dining room. The decor is stylish and has the preamble on a mural. There were Christmas decorations and giant poinsettia plants and holiday music playing. We received a specials menu, full menu and breakfast offerings which they serve until 2:00 on weekends. We mostly ordered sandwiches and all six of us were pleased with the food. We sat around and talked and although the server was good, I realized it had been two hours since we were served and he had yet to come by to offer us dessert. Due to the low average from Yelp reviews I was reluctant to try Jimmy's American Grill, but I am a Maverick. Yelp has even awarded me a badge that says so. I have to say I was glad I ignored the reviews. Our experience was great. As always your mileage may vary but we will most definitely be back.

We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.

It had been more than a year since my last visit to Marty's Place. Time flies!…read more I was driving by this morning after court, having skipped breakfast at home in order to get a jump on traffic going into the city. I saw a new sign out front on a Bud Light white board that breakfast was now being served 7 days a week! Hot diggity! I parked out back and walked in to a mostly empty bar (2 customers who looked like they were regulars). The bartender approached and we engaged about their breakfast menu. It was pretty wide open if my desires had anything to do with eggs. They did. I opted for a sausage, egg and cheese on Kaiser roll, and mug of java. While it was being created in the kitchen I watched a show about exotic car auctions. A Borgati opening at a cool million bucks was an eye opener. Another black transport used by John Lennon around London was also put up and sold. Pretty cool entertainment. The sandwich was great! Double patty, fried egg, American cheese and a fresh, quality roll, made for a tasty and fun meal. The side of homefries was likewise excellent - hot, crisp and spicy with sautéed onions in the mix. Coffee, strong and kicking. The only shortcomings were the lack of a joe refill offering, and lack of utensils. Luckily, I had a spoon from the coffee, which was fine as a shovel. For years I have been boring friends, family and anyone who would listen about the wretched state of service in the US, unfortunately made even more dismal by the pandemic. Service here is as gracious and precise as a metronome and is a welcome respite from the current shambolic state of things on planet earth. And before I forget, the food... almost matching the service which is saying something. I absolutely loved the Restaurant Week Hangar Steak and Tomato Bisque with a finger sandwich of grilled cheese and lobster. Tastes that I'm unlikely to replicate as I return to the assorted diners and dives that are not privy to the safe harbor of witness protection and the unwashed remnants of the one percent. Damn. Sadly, our weekday meal was a disappointment. My friend and I were only one of two parties dining in the restaurant. The menu overall feels old and dated. It features Just the classics, which is fine if executed well, but the execution was seriously lacking. The little gem salad featured pickled cucumbers in a very sharp vinegar sitting next to overdressed, lettuce and kale. It also had very large round carrots, which I think were completely unnecessary. The complimentary bread was brought to the table, warm and featured little mini salads on the side, which was a thoughtful touch. My entree of duck was a substitute for the more exciting braised short ribs mentioned initially. The breast was tough and chewy and the bread crumb on the leg was mushy and not crisp. Desert was our last hope but the flourless cake proved to be a hard, tough dome. Shout out for the kind and thoughtful wait staff! Overall, however, a let down. What a shame! There are too many excellent restaurants in the Princeton area and a clientele that definitely have a global palate so I worry this place might not last.

We decided to move sections because we wanted to sit near a window since it was so dark in the main dining area. Unfortunately, we got the same server. Also, it was a very hot day and it did not seem like they had the AC on. Weird. The food and drinks were meh. I ordered the peach sangria. It was decent. Not too strong and not too sweet. My dad ordered a Coors Light. They didn't have it on draft so he had to get a cold glass. He enjoyed it. Their cocktail menu was very limited considering they have a full bar. We ordered one appetizer which was the onion soup. For our entree's we ordered the the B2 Bistro Burger, Mustard crusted salmon, and grilled chicken pasta. The French Onion Soup was delicious. The Mustard Crusted salmon was meh. The salmon itself wasn't very flavorful. The rice was pretty bland but the green beans were delicious. The grilled chicken pasta was probably the best dish of the evening. It was very flavorful, hot, and cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed that entree. I passed it on the way to my hotel and immediately decided it was a place I wanted to check out. I'll admit I was a little alarmed when I walked in and realized it was giving neighborhood bar energy instead of the chic bistro vibes is expecting. I happened to arrive during trivia night, and most of the patrons seemed really into it so it was much louder and rowdier than I anticipated. So much for a quiet dinner. I asked the hostess if I could be seated in a booth away from the activity, but even in a less crowded section, the atmosphere remained pretty overstimulating. In addition to the enthusiastic trivia-playing patrons, there were loud, animated conversations among various staff members, music playing from staff member's phone while music was already playing throughout the restaurant, and just a lot of competing noise. After a three-hour drive, I was really hoping for a glass of wine, a nice meal, and a more relaxed environment. That said, the staff were all incredibly friendly and pleasant. You could tell that they genuinely enjoy working there and enjoy each other's company, which made it difficult to be too annoyed. Eventually, I popped in my AirPods and dissociated so that I could focus on enjoying my meal. For dinner, the Chicken Francaise with a glass of the Italian Pinot Grigio (The name escapes me at the moment). The wine paired beautifully with the meal. The chicken itself was a fairly thick cut and cooked perfectly, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. I also would have loved to see some of the risotto sauce drizzled over the chicken because, while the texture was spot on, the flavor was a little underwhelming on its own. The green beans were excellent. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch and lightly seasoned. But the real star of the show was the Parmesan lemon risotto. That risotto is easily among the top three best risottos I've ever had. The brightness of the lemon combined with the creamy parmesan made for an absolutely unforgettable dish. I was genuinely disappointed that I couldn't finish it because every bite was fantastic. Honestly, I could have ordered a plate of that risotto by itself and left completely satisfied. While the atmosphere wasn't quite what I was looking for, the friendly service and that unforgettable delectable risotto made the visit worthwhile.
