This location is conveniently located on S. 132nd St. just off West Center. There is plenty of parking to allow for easy access. This is one of several Jimmy's Egg locations in the Omaha area. Typically, you can expect a little wait on weekends or during peak hours, but we were fortunate in that they moved people through pretty quickly seated us within minutes of arrival. The Restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Menus are available on the table so you can start to look at options. Plenty of breakfast basics and some interesting spins that allow for healthier options or something if you want to just indulge! Menu is reasonably priced for the quality of product provided. Our server was exceptionally friendly and explained a few questions we had about the menu. Drinks and food were out on the table before we even knew it! The food quality was great and very fresh. We were a party of three on Sunday at around noon. There were around 20 people in front of us but the line moved quickly and we were happy with the short wait. The restaurant was full but the staff were cleaning tables as quickly as they needed to. Our food was delicious- 1 omelet, biscuits and gravy, conquistador omelet, and the Southwest bowl. It was so much food! We had leftovers for dinner. The waitress was efficient and checked on us often without hovering. I only come here with my parents, I swear they're on a first name basis with all the staff. But I can see why, good food and good portions, plus fair pricing, you can't go wrong with a classic breakfast. Sometimes there is a wait, but not for long like other breakfast spots in town. There are several Jimmy's Egg restaurants in the Omaha area but decided to select this location based on Yelp reviews and not because it was the closest, which it wasn't. Baker Square location has plenty of parking and the Sunday morning crowd was already there but we were able to secure a table quickly. Service was very good during the whole time from drinks, ordering, food presentation and taste, and refilling of coffee, to the arrival of the check. With egg prices still sky high, the food prices were still reasonable and this location is very popular. I also would highly recommend this location over others I have been to over the past few years. I will be back very soon. read more

Met a friend for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Even though I arrived before he did, Ashley was flexible enough to seat me at a two-top while I waited. (Their policy is to wait until everyone is there because of the heavy traffic on weekends.) Turns out he is something of a regular, so she knows him. She joked how if she'd known who I was meeting she'd have made me wait, but I think overall it justified her decision. He knew exactly what he wanted without looking, and she knew his special requests before he was able to say them. And that's the great, friendly service that makes a delicious breakfast even better. I like that they offer grits, and the Country Benedict was excellent. There's a reason they were packed from 9:15 when I got there to at least 10:30 or so when we left. Always love ordering from here but stopped as much because the quality has decrease significantly. The hash browns always hard on the bottom to where you have to spit it out I pay for extra cheese on them , and they put the sausage on top so I had to sit and scrap off all of the cheese off my sausage couldn't use it cause it just clumped up together hate to see a great business going down hill read more

I've eaten here several times in the past few years, usually with my mom, and we both enjoy it. They have a huge menu selection and you definitely won't walk away hungry. Coffee is hot and fresh and they keep your cup full with refills. In my experience the staff has always been pleasant and doesn't try to rush you out. This place is usually busy especially on specials occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, etc. One of my favorite menu items is the JIMMY'S GARBAGE BREAKFAST which sounds terrible but is actually really good. Basically, it's hash browns topped with onions, green pepper, sausage and eggs and served with your choice of sides (as if you need them by then). Being on their email list provides you with coupons and special offers every so often. read more

So much competition for breakfast these days, but when you make the list of good food, very consistent and affordable, too, the list is shorter. This isn't fancy but it is well-managed, clean, always good service. They have good coffee and they are quick to refill your cup. That is big for me, If you sit at the breakfast bar there is a lot of character. They know how to make an omelette, never complain about exceptions or last minute changes, like subbing grits and pancakes, asking for egg whites and/or sugar free syrup for pancakes. I think there pancakes are the best in town. Not huge, not too fluffy -and served warm. Made fresh. Breakfast for 2 is always about 25 bucks. Their grits, rare to find in omaha, are true grits. Get it? This place is usually busy but they know how to work the customers and turn tables. They don't leave dirty dishes on tables when there are customers waiting in line. Sometimes the servers are a bit chatty but they are headquartered in Oklahoma. They serve fast. Get here during the week or weekend for breakfast or lunch. Tip well. Good grits. We went here with 6 people on Father's Day. When you walk in you wait in line to get seated we waited for about 30 min and there were a few smaller groups that were in line behind us who got to go ahead of us. When we were seated they took out drink order promptly and maybe 15 min later our witness took our food order. We waited about 20 min for our food I would think. Everything was very affordable and large portions. The food was all very good and very filling. Even though it was the busiest day of the year our service was great and everyone was very friendly.
