    Breakfast tacos
    Danielle M.

Came here for brunch a few days ago and thought it was pretty solid. I had the breakfast tacos and they were alright - they tasted like something I could probably make at home just as well. The cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious, but everything else was fairly average? Service was good and it was very busy but they got drinks and food out quickly with no issues.

Le Peep is a must-stop every time. The service is always great, and we're usually able to get seated pretty quickly. They have lots of coffee options, and the lattes are so good -- the lavender honey latte is one of my favorites. The atmosphere isn't too loud, which makes it perfect for groups or catching up over brunch. Hands down one of the best brunch spots in Omaha!

I stoped by Le Peep while waiting for another business to open. I got my usual Belgian waffle combo and enjoyed every bite. The place was clean and food good as always. Frankee provided top of the line service and made this a 5-star visit! Check out Le Peep if you are in the area.

We had a great experience at Le peep! I haven't been here in years, and now I'm not so sure why I waited a long time to come back. The service was great, everyone was really helpful, quick to return with things and friendly. Their portions are huge, so order on the light side. Their pancakes are bigger than your uncle Bob's huge noggin. They are also some of the most flavorful pancakes I have ever tasted, just by themselves. And then the hot syrup and butter... Perfection. A couple other items came with our breakfast: smoky bacon, perfectly soft scrambled eggs, and snappy sausage. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the amount that you get. We will be back soon!

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on March 30th. We arrived about an hour before closing and dining room was full yet we were sat right away. This Le Peep was quieter than others we've been to so we liked that. It was also more open and bright like European cafes we've visited. Our server was new and awesome but I don't remember the young man's name. Even though he was busy he would still pause and just visit even if for a few seconds. We started by sharing a cinnamon roll. It was very good (but our favorite cinnamon roll is still at a little cafe with a farmhouse feel on 84th. :) ). We each got a cafe mocha, hot and chocolatey, perfect. I had the Rueben and would put it in the top of some of the best I've had. Wife had the Stuffed French Toast, loved it. Will be back but going to try out a different location next.

finally made it to Le Peep! have been meaning to make it to this place for a while now. a bit of a wait to get in, but it was saturday mid-morning. The overall restaurant is a bit chaotic and clustered. while waiting we kept feeling like we were in the way since the waiting area was where people paid their bill as well. once we got seated tho it was all good with plenty of room! Our waitress was very on top of everything with getting our orders once we got seated and keeping our water carafe filled. i got one of the eggs benedict with a side of breakfast potatoes, and just a black coffee. the benedict was alright, nothing crazy wow. i had a lot of veggies that were on top of the benedict, but so many they kept falling off so my plate just became a huge mess. overall it was an okay experience, not the best brunch spot in my opinion in omaha area, but it does have a small town vibe which is always enjoyable!!

Le Peep got EVERYTHING right! From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed with Le Peep. They were able to accommodate 12 of us (distanced from other customers) and were extremely friendly. Our waitress rocked! Not only was she patient with our endless questions, she was able to alter a coffee drink to give my mother the exact thing she wanted. All of our food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. I have no complaints. I have no negatives. We be back soon! Happy eating Yelpers!

DP ordered Lemon Berry Pancakes, a plate-filing short stack of goodness. I'd like to say it tasted as good as it looked, but I couldn't tell as DP chowed down like a hound from hell. In a good way, of course. She did allow me to share her Maple Braised Bacon (meaning that I was able to snatch a piece while she wasn't looking). Really, really fine, something I'd definitely order again. For me. Not to share. I had the Schnitzel Bennie with tart cherry jam and lemon hollandaise. Sound unusual? Tasted great! My only gripe was that the pork cutlet was a bit small and could have used a bit more seasoning in the breading. Would I order it again? You betcha! Service was fast and efficient. The decor was quirky and inviting but the space was loud enough that it was really hard to carry a conversation. Overall rating: yahoo!

My husband is a much harsher critic than I am, and he gave it a "rare 5.5 out of 5." The pancakes were some of the fluffiest I've ever had. They also have a great selection of coffee flavors to choose from, which was a fun bonus. The coffee paired perfectly with breakfast, though I probably wouldn't come here just for the coffee alone. The flavor was good but it did have a slight burnt taste. A quick note: you order at the counter before sitting down. It's a mix of self-serve and sit-down service. You order at the counter, grab your own silverware, and seat yourself, but they bring your food and drinks out to you (other than water). I do wish they were a bit more attentive about clearing finished plates during the meal. The restaurant was so busy that the line was out the door when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast. I was worried we wouldn't find a table, yet there were plenty of open seats available. The atmosphere is also really nice and cozy, making it a great spot to start your day.

Ok the other hand, the service is rather iffy & unpredictable. The chicken & waffles is my go-to for each visit, and they have many types of delicious sides to choose from, with my favorites being the biscuits & berries, goat cheese grits, and also the fried green tomatoes. I have zero problems with the food that they serve here, they always do an excellent job at preparing whatever they need to prepare & the portions are always satisfactory. As for the service, there are days where you will receive perfect service while on others the service is not so great. Some days you will be attended to in a timely manner, while there is other days where there isn't anyone available or willing to seat you somewhere. I've also experienced instances where they didn't attend to our table to take orders until I made a complaint. Most of these instances were during days where the place was virtually empty so it's not because of the place being busy. I've also ordered take out from here before, again some instances are perfect and there's other instances where they don't tell you if a certain food is out of stock via text or call so if you ordered something that isn't in stock, you're forced to wait for them to prepare something else once you arrive to pick up your order. They also don't always include syrup or butter in the takeout bags for chicken & waffles. One minor thing I'm also disappointed about is how the portion of grits has lessened over time, going from being served in a bowl to instead being served in a small cup/mug. Overall, I certainly don't return for the service because you never really know if it's going to be a good day or a bad day for that. It's always the food that brings me back. I do want to like this place, and I do to an extent but again the service is always unpredictable. I'd still say the food is worth coming here to see how it goes.

The dinner service manager is knowledgeable and passionate about the dining experience. When we ordered the radicchio salad, I was skeptical that it would be bitter, but was curious to try it. My husband and I could have fought over it--it was that good! The cauliflower was roasted perfectly, and sat upon a sweet and spice infused puree called mahummara with crunchy pine nuts. They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

May 25th, 2026 Food:…read moreWaited a whole hour for an easy order... which was a mini charcuterie board with a plate of avocado toast... when it was served... it looked pretty and at first I didnt mind about the long wait, but I was disappointed because it tasted like it was made an hour ago but was barely being served to me a whole hour later.. so yeah.. not worth it and now I do mind.. a soggy toast isn't on my list.. Ambiance: It was a nice regular refreshing bar/brunch spot. But safety was a HUGE issue which is where I'll get to my point of this low rating. Service: Is negative zero a thing? That goes to the owner... the 1 star is for the decent service my server attended towards me. In unfortunate events it's not the servers fault.. but overall with the owner coming out, couldnt be anymore careless.. The Cause: Either the owner or a staff employee whomever that is responsible for setting up the patio umbrellas, and I mean those large heavy metal patio umbrellas, well, they failed to lock the pole of the umbrella and unfortunately the umbrella lifted and blew away and had hit a family in the face that were dining there also; instant noticeable bruising to the face... I was only a table away from them.. it could have been me too. I am disappointed in the lack of care in general that surrounded the scene. Little 5 ft me... was the only one that came to help while everyone else sat around and minded their own business... it took a long while until one of the staff noticed to help and then the owner came out and awkwardly said a one word-sorry and dipped... didnt come back to offer any hospitality, non-genuine and non-apologetic... it made me lose my appetite. They had the audacity to still charge the family their meal... but I had to tell these really nice folks to make sure they get comped back. It was sickening to me on how careless they were treated. I would never come back! I mean an exaggerating long wait, cold soggy food and careless hospitality from the owner himself. That's three major strikes. P.s. That same wknd.. the news showed up about a South Carolina woman that was struck by a patio umbrella and died on site... that says alot about lacking safety. Yes, search it up. It's real news.. Hope this help improves the business alertness. P.p.s. And although I was disappointed at this dining-bar overall... I still tipped my server a good $20 as the situation was out of their control, my server was still attentive towards me. They all just need social common courtesy in empathy and hospitality. But anyways, my lunch ended with bittersweetness with the family that got struck, they comped my whole meal for genuinely being the only one that was concerned for them. The only service I'm grateful for was that.
