Hands down the best restaurant in Stillwater. The food, staff and atmosphere are amazing! You get your bread and cinnamon butter as your seated. Drinks come fast and the food is always delicious! It's always clean and has plenty of smiling staff. The managers always come out and make sure you are pleased with everything! The only downside is they don't open til 4 pm, you cannot make a reservation and I've gone before and been told there was a 4 hour wait...so use the app to check in so youre not standing outside all night...also don't sit at the bar. They mostly just talk amongst themselves and ignore you while youre looking around for your waitress. read more

Surprisingly there was only a 5 minute wait. Our server was attentive and efficient. Their onion is good but it is a poor imitation of the Outback blooming onion. I also don't care for their dipping sauce. The ribeye was seasoned and cooked well. Mushrooms were sautéed and great addition to my steak. I loved the extra crispy fries I ordered. Pretty much like any Texas Roadhouse, the food is always good, service is top notch, and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. The Wife had the 12oz Ribeye, which some parts of seemed a bit chewy, but overall a good steak. I had the 12oz Prime Rib, which is always a good choice. Tender, cooked perfectly and totally eaten up. Upon walking in into the restaurant it was very busy and crowded, especially for it being a Tuesday, so if you were wanting to go for an event or bringing more than just a few people I would call and make a reservation beforehand. The restaurant is very traditional and midwestern but the food is pretty decent if you are going for a VERY casual date or even a quick lunch with family. It does get loud when there is a football game going on so be aware of that. We were sitting in a pretty small area which was quite uncomfortable but our server we were given was extremely nice throughout the whole meal which I believe is what made the experience better for us both. To start we got the famous texas roadhouse rolls and cinnamon butter and for appetizers we ordered cheese fries with bacon, and a Cactus Blossom as well. I also ordered a side house salad with my 8oz steak and loaded baked potato. My husband ordered the bone in ribeye and potato. We both agreed the steak was sub par and the fries were soggy, however with that being said the onion was crispy and the rolls were delicious as always. Asked for medium well and had gotten little under medium, my sister had asked for well done and it happened to come out under medium as well. When asked for the steak to be cooked longer, the top side looked fine and had been cooked correctly on the inside, but had been sever burnt on the bottom side. Texas Roadhouse is my and my fiancé's go-to date spot. He's a big guy with a big appetite, and he loves the 16-oz sirloin with loaded potatoes. I enjoy the sirloin as well: always flavorful and cooked to my liking. They also have a really good Caesar salad so I get it every time. We visit Texas Roadhouse probably about once a month, and every time we go we're greeted with friendly staff and reliably good food. That's not to even mention the rolls with cinnamon butter, which are one of the best things about this place! We have not been to Roadhouse in a while and we remembered why. I do love the house salad and rolls!! Both ribeyes we ordered were over cooked for a medium steak. The server was so nice and the manager was quick to try to fix my over cooked steak. My kids loved their bbq chicken sandwich and pulled pork dinner. The atmosphere is pretty loud and very packed but it's a Friday night. If you do plan on coming to Roadhouse, I would make a reservation online before going. It being the beginning of the school year, they were very busy. We waited longer than normal, and when we finally got out food, our steaks were overcooked. No problem, we understand New Year, new cooks, etc. Here is where I want to give a big shout-out. It was our waiter, Tod. This young man was so pleasant and nice, he didn't hover over us constantly, yet he kept our drinks filled without us asking, and tried to get the cooks to make us new steaks. We told him no because they were so busy that it would have kept us there for quite a bit longer. But he acted like he was just so upset that everything was not perfect, it really made us feel like he was upset about our food not being perfect. I hate this place but my dad loves it so we go here when i visit him. Usually once or twice a year since 2010 or so. The "tender meat" tastes like it's been processed in some way. I really did not enjoy my most recent steak here. Maybe the hand-selected ones in the case are different? I live in a city renowned for its restaurants but usually enjoy the steaks I get in Oklahoma much more. Definitely not the case for this Stillwater location. I don't care for the "peanuts on the floor" and "line dancing waitress" cheesiness of the place. If that's your thing, you'll love it. And -- it is very inexpensive for a steak place. It really good to know you can go into nearly any TXRH and get a well-prepared steak and great sides. I always get great service as well. Tonight was no exception. Paige & Ky owned the bar and dished out great service with a friendly attitude. I asked for well-carmelized onions on my medium steak and it was exactly right. Not a hint of gristle or fat on my 6 oz sirloin. And it arrived incredibly fast. I was hungry so I was pleased to see it. This is a well-run location and both times I have been here I was thoroughly pleased. You may get a steak at a top local place that would be great but for a solo business dinner TXRH is hard to beat. Incredibly disappointed in the take out orders we have received from TRH. While their Caesar salad is still amazing, their ability to cook steak has declined dramatically. We ordered two rib eyes medium-rare, and they were barely cooked. As rare as they were, it was unsafe to eat them and would not have been enjoyable otherwise. First time ever being at. TEXAS Roadhouse. Stopped and asked what butter we prefer. Ummmmok. Then asked if we wanted steaks. Why, yes we do!!! Nice big bone in Rib eye, please. So we are shown a butcher case and asked to pick out our very own steak. That's pretty cool. We choose and the hostess puts tickets on top of the steaks and gives the duplicate ticket to us to show our waitress. Pretty great idea, right? Not when your waitress tells you they are out of steaks, but can hand cut you a juicy sirloin instead. What? We asked about the ticket process...the standing in front of a glass case of steaks... being asked to pick out our very own steak.., am I going mad? Went in last week for dinner with my boyfriend who lives out of town. He's from RI so he's never had Texas Roadhouse. For his first experience, I was almost embarrassed for the establishment myself. His steak was not cooked all the way (almost raw in the middle) and my sweet potato came out literally black. Our server was incredibly kind and offered to take the potato back even before she put it on the table. I am a server as well, so I understand the troubles of incompetent cooks. MADISON WAS AMAZING! If you've never been to a Texas Roadhouse, be aware they have peanuts to snack on in the waiting area and at the tables and it's normal for people to throw the shells on the floor. All over the floor. The waitstaff do random line dancing in the only walk ways between tables to the blaring country music. Upon entering you can see the cuts if meat behind glass if you want to pick your own sreak.
