Amazing old school greasy cheeseburger place. Prices are super reasonable. I highly recommend.

Jennifer H.

You can't go wrong with Jim's Burger Haven for a great burger! It's a fun local neighborhood vibe. I love the thin crispy burgers! The menu isn't huge but has good variety. I didn't love the fries but the onion rings.... Oh the onion rings were so good! The service was fast and everyone was friendly. They aren't open late (maybe 8pm) so check before you go. Skip the fries but order the onion rings!

6 inch double
Ash A.

These. burgers. are. HUGE. My boyfriend ordered the 6inch double when he finished no problem but I swear I saw him struggling to hold it!!! I got the singe 4 inch and I think when I go back I'll get the double 4 inch because I wanted to taste more of the beef! The aesthetic of this place was so cute and retro! The girl at the front desk was so sweet and helpful because it was our first time. I would definitely do back!

Ordering online options

Burgers are great BUT BEWARE if you order online it says to check the everything box, I did check the everything box but nothing came on the burgers... There was a guy in from of me that had the same issue with his burger having nothing even though he checked the everything box. I guess you have to leave all of the auto check boxes checked AND check the everything box. Very confusing and the people working should know to make it with everything on if the everything box is CHECKED regardless of the other boxes.

Service was typical of fast food. Inside was an old school 50s diner vibe but 1/3 of the seats were out of commission or damaged. The burger was very good, but the fries and shake didn't impress. The fries were room temperature and the milkshake was average. My rating is mainly based on the price and the flavor. Don't come here expecting a fancy burger but for a fast food burger it's pretty good.

Melody S.

Good food and okay service, but the actual environment is not a safe space for LGBTQ+ or people of color. My family and I have had multiple bad experiences here. Once where a family was photographing us and ostracizing us just for eating here. And again yesterday, where a different group of people pointed at my husband and called him "gay" for having long hair. I would avoid this location and find a more inclusive space.

This is what an order of cheese curds look

They totally shafted me on my curds manager wouldn't make it right, I've been coming here for years and know this is not the usual size

Lee T.

Since moving here, I've been to this burger joint three times, and I can say the burgers are really good for the price. This reminds me of Highway 55 back down South.

Don't come here unless you want cold food and melted shakes and terrible attitude from the staff. Place has really gone down

Fries and ranch

We love Jim's! The prices are great, and the food is always delicious. The cheese curds and onion rings are incredible. Worth noting, their ranch is so good. The inside is very old school diner vibe. They do have a drive thru too!

Greasy and flavorless. The smell of grease hangs in the air seeping into every dirty nook it can find. Burgers worse than McDonalds.

They have a ton of different burger options and they all sounded so good. From mushroom burgers to bisons to ones that had so much bacon on it, you really can't go wrong here! Came in to pick up and service was pretty quick. They pointed me in the right direction. Not enough interactions to give them a rating. The restaurant and bar was popping. It was busy on this Friday night around 8pm. About 3/4 full. It was sorta loud but good energy. I think I would have preferred to eat in rather than take out. I ordered sweet potato fries (you can sub them out for others like onion rings or truffle fries etc) with my short rib stacker burger. The burger was on point. The fries, maybe because they were cold by time I ate them, were disappointing. The herb infused cream cheese was the cherry on top. The braised short rib wasn't as juicy and I'd never order it separately but together, it made for a pretty good burger. I also had the Brie and bacon bites which are crispy pastry bites stuffed with brie cheese & applewood-smoked bacon. They dust then with powdered sugar which I thought was okay. It is served with housemade cranberry cream sauce. They have multiple locations it turns out. So if you don't pop by this one, don't fret, there are others!

Seating for 6 at best and mostly a counter and a kitchen. Is this in a location that is just a little unexposed to drive by traffic, yes. It is off Sheridan and 10th Ave between apartment buildings and houses not what you expect. As I drove up to the location it is in a building with an off brand convenience store and a dry cleaners with no other businesses nearby. It's not real inviting from the exterior or even the interior as far as that goes. This is a classic case of " don't judge a book by It's cover " or you'll be missing out on a real gem for customer service and tasty eats. We were greeted upon arrival by a very pleasant lady behind the counter. We took one of the three small empty tables and studied the menu. You order at the counter and most of the customer traffic while we were there was Doordash type orders and the to go orders were steady. My son ordered three tacos and a bottle of Coke. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon as the protein and smothered with green chili. This is rare but my son raved about the tacos, not just that they were good. He stated that he would definitely be returning to repeat the experience. He said he could taste every ingredient used to make his tacos. My breakfast burrito was very tasty, every ingredient was cooked to my expectation. The eggs were fluffy, bacon crispy but not burnt and the hash browns cooked to perfection. The star of this dish for me was the green chili that smothered an already delicious breakfast burrito. We both agreed this was one of the best lunches we have enjoyed over the years. Don't be put off by the location or the exterior, its worth a visit. The service was good, food was excellent, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable. I don't know the story behind this restaurant but I hope going forward they get good business demand because good food and good service should be appreciated. In the last three or more years service has certainly declined and good food is harder to find at reasonable prices. I will be back when I am in the area to try other dishes and my son who lives not too far away says it is his new taco place. I would invite other Yelper's to give it a try.

Simple burger (med-rare, I usually order med-rare and get well done, but true med-rare) cream cheese, bacon and grilled jalapeño. That's it and it honestly needs nothing else. Little sweet, little heat but for a lunch burger I am impressed. Bartender was cool and I think ran the whole house at lunch pretty well. We ordered 1/2 of a turkey rubin with fries, one cheese burger with green chili as the side 2 coors light and 2 house margarita's and it cost $70 with a tip. The turkey rubin was not grilled enough, it looked like warm bread. The cheese burger came naked. No lettuce, onion, tomato or pickle. I asked the server, and he said we had to ask for it but it wouldn't be charged extra, even though the cheese was charged $1.50 for a slice of american cheese. THEN WE HAD A FAIR WAGE FEE. (5.00%) of our bill. WHY ARE CUSTOMERS PAYING THAT? The employer should include it in their prices or not charge it. Because $70.00 for this meal that was SUB PAR AT BEST makes me mad. The beer was $2.50 before 4 pm and $3.50 after 4. We would drink beer here. But paying $17 for 2 house margaritas, on happy hour prices, was nuts. The old ownership cared more about the food products that were put out. We will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. $70 FOR A BURGER AND 1/2 OF A SANDWICH AND TWO DRINKS EACH, AND A WAITER WHO DIDN'T ADD CONDIMENTS TO OUR BURGER... shame on you guys.

The passion and care they put into their food is palpable, making the meal even more enjoyable. Best bite: I texted a friend after my second bite of the cheesesteak, and I'm quoting myself here: "I think I just had the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had." The name may have been wrong, but the taste was correct! Perfectly cooked beef, Colorado green chilis, and an amoroso bun that altogether made the perfect bite. The hot chicken sandwich was top tier, with the perfect amount of spice without sacrificing flavor (my biggest pet peeve with spicy food). The smashed burger? Easily in my top 5 (maybe top 3?) in Denver Metro. And that burrito--WOW. Perfectly cooked steak, fresh smashed avocado, and a cheese-crusted tortilla. 10/10, no notes.
