been in Colorado for 10 years originally from LA haven't found a burger to match. It went to Jim's satisfied, delicious and great for families that's on a budget. Must try five star. delicious milkshakes. We had a 6 in.² triple very delicious service was good and food was piping hot.

Service is great! Ambiance is finer style which is perfect for this joint. Food - I am a burger connoisseur and although they do make an absolutely giant burger that is affordable priced,, in my eyes I've had better tasting. They serve smash burgers but it could definitely use more of a char to the burger. The flavor just was not there for me. Don't try me wrong, it was a good burger and a huge burger but it was definitely lacking flavor. Salt is needed. A char is needed. A mayonnaise is needed. I will be back. They have a lot of other items that I would love to try out. Burger was just lacking in flavor.

    6" smash combo

Great food and atmosphere!! It looks like a 50s diner and has plenty of space despite being pretty busy. The food was decently priced as well. We will go back!

Been in Colorado for 10 years originally from LA haven't found a burger yet came to this place. Very big quantities delicious food. Milkshake was bomb. Staff was helpful. Must try grateful for families that are on a budget.

4" single Burger with American & "Jimmies" (onion rings/fries). 10$

Super quick order taking, Waited 5-10 minutes for food and it was amazing! Burgers cooked well and portions just right. I highly recommend this small local burger joint to satisfy your hunger.

Jim's has been rocking the burgers since 1961. There is always a line and it is worth the wait. There is a decent amount of parking. The menu is prominently displayed so you can make decisions prior to reaching the register. I have not had a bad experience here. I normally get the 4" with cheese and all that comes on it: yellow mustard, shaved lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle. The beef is from Colorado and the buns are from Aspen Baking Company. They are local and they support local. This last time instead of fries, I got the cheese curds with ranch. They were tasty. The atmosphere is fun. Lots of old pictures and feels like you are walking back in time. It is worth the stop.

Came here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Jim's is a 50s style burger joint that uses local Colorado ingredients. I ordered a 4 inch cheeseburger combo with fries and a Diet Coke. The beef was super flavorful and fries were perfectly crispy. Prices are very reasonable - my meal was around eight dollars total. My partner got a pineapple shake that had and real chunks of pineapple- super good and fresh tasting! Def coming back here!

I've been going to Jim's burger, haven't since seventh grade.I am now 63 and The quality has slowly gotten worse and worse. And today's visit just topped it off.Worst hamburger I got in 50 years ! I only got a 1/2 a piece of tomato. There's more than just the meat and the bread. This buger was over $8.00

Jim's classic 6" and 4" side by side.

Maybe a matter of taste, but the smashburger was not for me. Fries were also soggy. Onion rings were good though. Won't be going back.

I mean a post-hike burger loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and cheddar cheese - what could possibly be better. Nothing, absolutely nothing. ++ There's a variety of ways to further customize your meal, whether it be adding toppings, sauces, or swapping out the grass-fed beef patty for a chicken or veggie patty. ++ Did I mention they offer up some additional specials to add a little something different from time to time? Love that! ++ They needed to whip up more of their chipotle mayo, so I was already planning on foregoing sampling it with my meal when the server brought out a cup for us. YUM! It was just what my sweet potato fries needed. -- The only drawback we experienced was brief uncertainty over whether they were actually going to be open during our visit. Sounds like the hours may fluctuate a bit from day to day. Not what our grumbling bellies were wanting to hear. So glad that ended up not being the case. The Mighty Burger definitely checked my burger-craving boxes. I'll gladly make my way back when in Boulder.

This is maybe the most convoluted review I've ever written:…read moreWe were happy to get a spot here on OpenTable for Mother's Day. Fortunately, it is close to our home and the reviews looked great. When we arrived, we redirected from the main dining room to another space the restaurant owns 2 doors down. I wonder if we may have had a more attentive experience had we been in the original? The first disappointment was that our meal took 40 minutes to arrive from the time that we sat down. Our waiter consistently forgot that my husband had ordered a Diet Coke or to refill the drink when he had offered. The tables around us seemingly were served earlier, even though we all placed our orders around the same time. I ordered the Thai Pork Belly Benedict, which was absolutely delectable and definitely something write home about! And the country potatoes side was perfectly seasoned and crispy. I would absolutely go back for this, just maybe on a weekday brunch due to the wait. I thought it was extremely unique how the children's menu was plated in a muffin tin, with 6 different food choices for just $12. Great deal! My husband had a Belgian waffle topped with fruit, which was really unremarkable. Reminiscent of something that you might self-make at a hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, his waffle was cold, and he requested that they remake, which our server made sure was done in a timely manner. All in all, our meal was very reasonably priced at around $43. I just wish it hadn't been such a long wait, both to receive the initial order and for drink refills.
