We were running some errands in the area and stopped by Tap & Burger! It's such a cute spot, they have an outdoor area and when it's nice they open up the doors so you have an inside/outside vibe. They have SO many TVs so it's a great spot to grab a beer and watch a game. We started with the cheese curds and I got the simple salad. They were both great, a little dressing heavy but not bad at all! We were here for brunch so I ordered the Royale with Cheese, which was great - loved the special sauce. It's basically a modern day Chili's. Definitely a chain and has multiple different locations not just in Colorado but another states. is that a negative thing? Not necessarily. It's become our hometown stomping place for trivia and catching up football game. Lunch with my mom and dad for Father's Day was $100! It was three of us and just burgers! I ordered mine with french fries and my mom did too. As I was eating, I was thinking oh my gosh these french fries are gross and not worth the calories then my mom said wow, these french fries are gross. We decided to try out Tap and Burger one of those times and the food was great, if only they had like a regular burger it would have been better. I don't need to add 10 ingredients to a burger. I understand seating by waitstaff and availability but when three adults walk into a restaurant and there is a ton of seating available putting them between two large families where they get lost in the chaos and are assigned to what seemed like the only waitress working was a bit of a let down. To start they add in a 20 percent tip when you order so the service is sub par because there really is no incentive for wait staff to be attentive to you. I asked for a drink when I sat down and ordered and got it when my meal was finished (first trip). My brother in law asked for mustard when he ordered and got it it 1/2 way through eating his hamburger (2nd trip different waitress). Their prices have been raised very high and their hamburgers have been reduced in size and they have taken off the fixings they used to put on them like tomatoes lettuce and onions (at least for their happy hour food).
