Nice and clean location
Devin W.

A buffalo area staple. This location is always clean and never that busy. Good service. Poutine serving size seems to have changed or at least the size of the container has gotten smaller. This place isn't cheap. That's neither a pro or a con, it's just a fact. Came here with my teen and pre-teen. They are always happy with their poutine and steak fries. Since I'm trying to be more health conscious, I ordered a chicken sandwich. I was happy with it.

Ordered 2 large tacos. And picked them up right away. They were cold like a fridge. Not a good way to enjoy my lunch.

My children are very picky eaters. I ordered a salami sub for my youngest with cheese and pickles, nothing else. They somehow forgot one of the three ingredients, the pickles. My older daughter wanted chicken fingers with a side of BBQ sauce. Low and behold, they forgot another main item, the BBQ sauce. I ordered a sub and philly fries for myself. The philly fries are basically dried pieces of leftover steak from a previous order and a half slice of cheese. What a waste of money. How do you mess up a sub with three components...

A mess.

I ordered a chicken and waffle sandwich. two large fries and a large drink. Easy right. Negative. 45 mins later I ask where my food is because why would someone kindly update me that it's going to be behind?!? I finally get it. And there is poutine inside the bag. Why? I'm not sure. The sandwich is tapped shut. But the poutine which is a sloppy mess is not. The food I'm starving and dying to eat is now covered in gravy. I do not like gravy nor the smell of said gravy. Disappointing.

Chicken finger sub. Perfect after drinking

Jim's steakout - a Western New York Classic. Service never seems to be great. It's a bunch of young adults playing on their phones and cooking on the grill. The food though? Exactly what I want when I am looking for a greasy, cheesy, fattening cheat meal or drunk meal. Their chicken finger subs are delicious. Their menu has subs, tacos, hoagies, French fries, poutine fries, taco in a bag, etc. Just recently they added a chicken and waffles sandwhich which I have heard is pretty good!

I always wanted to try this Spot ever time I go to Buffalo. So I decided to get a Cheesesteak Hoagie and some fries , me being a Philly Native born and Raised I wanted to see if they could make a Authentic Cheesesteak. Ok let's start the plus side they use good quality steak and their frie bangin but on the bad side they don't have good Italian Rolls like we have in Philadelphia therefore my Cheesesteak was Mad soggy so I couldn't post a picture off it. I will give them another try just to try their Buffalo chicken finger hoagie

If you live in WNY, you likely already know of Jim's. If not, you may be living under a rock,- or you are at the very least living a deprived life. A lot of places will say they have moth watering subs.- Jim's actually does! Get a steak hoagie supreme. You will feel like you are in heaven. And the offer a discount for vets too boot.

We came on Ash Wednesday for the new "buffalo fish wings" and they were good and creative! However, I didn't really care for how they looked. The advertisement photo vs. what we got was really different. The fish was also drenched in sauce. However! If you told me this was fish, I would be fooled. They tasted like boneless wings. A good twist on fish. Overall, I would rate the food itself a solid 3.

So good it is half gone

On first look it appears to be a typical sub shop but the menu is very extensive. Lots of choices and they all look good! Yes there are pictures! The young lady that took our order at the counter answered our questions and offered us tastes. Prices are good, 12.00 for a sub fries and drink. They delivered our food to our table promptly and everything was delicious. I got steak with fried onions and mushrooms and was able to get a small one as they had three different sizes to choose from. The negatives- the restaurant needs work, painting and cleaning. Didn't love the atmosphere. Maybe takeout is the way to go.

Is this a joke? Half of the amount of food than always before.

Worst veggie burrito ever! Cold shell, cold shredded cheddar, lettuce and tomato. Lame! Should have gone further to the mighty taco.

The have a salsa bar where you can go up and get sauces, and salsa. There was a guacamole salsa on the bar, which I've never had, and it was amazing! The guacamole itself also was very good. Flavorful and fresh.. All the food was made to order. Came to the table hot. All ingredients were very fresh, vibrant in color and flavorful! I went for the chicken fajitas, that came with beans, rice, little green salad, and guacamole and sour cream. Portions were nice size no need ask for extra. My chicken fajitas were delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly, sizzled the whole time while at the table. Topped with peppers, onions and mushrooms. Normally not a big rice fan, but the rice was so good, I loved it! At first I was like 24 bucks for fatijas seemed little high, but after coming to the table, felt portion to price was good. If you like loud, obnoxious, party-bar atmosphere- then this is the place for you. If you don't,…read moreyou will probably NOT have a good time. I came here with some family who were visiting from out of town. We wanted somewhere that everyone could eat at since we have omnis, GFs, and vegans. Love that there were options for everyone. However, my partner and I ordered the guacamole azteca which came out with cheese clearly on it and mixed in. I asked the server immediately if it was cheese and he said no, they would never put cheese in it. I had my doubts but thought perhaps it could be finely minced garlic. So we started eating. About halfway through we hit a pocket of unmixed cheese and I stopped eating. Asked the server a second time who denied it was cheese. He claims he also asked in the kitchen and they assured him it wasn't cheese. Well, it was- I got sick that night. My vegan dinner was small- no rice or beans. Just two sad little enchiladas with very little filling. There was a pile of iceburg lettuce next to them with a small scoop of pico. But all in all, the meal is NOT worth the price. The vegan options were the same price or more than the meat options, but came out with half the food on the plate. I felt this meal deserved only 1 star, but the fact that there were vegan options on the menu bumped it up to 2 stars. I will not be going back, I would much rather eat elsewhere in a more quiet atmosphere where the servers and kitchen staff KNOW what they put dairy in.

Give me one margarita...well, you know how the song goes. Margarita's is a great party atmosphere…read more I love the interior vibes, and when the warm weather hits the patio is a vibe of its own. My husband and I love sitting at the bar and watching the show of endless birthday singing, and patron sparklers with music. There is always music. You can't be in Margaritas and not smile at least once. The spirit in there is infectious. On this particular date, we got to catch some of the Sabres game, which was a treat and celebrate St. Patrick's weekend drinking margaritas. I got a flight, as always. I'm usually not a frozen marg girl, but when at Margaritas...plus on one flavor you always get a mini rubber duck and they are adorable and you can take it home with you. I like adding it to my collection in my Jeep. The standout marg was the watermelon. It wasn't too sweet. Prickly pear and dragon fruit were a little too sweet for me. Because I was hungry, but not hungry enough, I went with two side orders. I got a tostada and a taco. They were fine. My husband got a burrito and finished his meal. If you like a little excitement and party in your life, I highly recommend this place. Employees are friendly.
