My husband and I have eaten here since they opened. We have tried the other Asian restaurants in the area but we always pick jinjins. There food is always hot ,tasty and order up pretty fast. Nastiest crap ever! Ordered veg soup, mostly broccoli,ZERO shiitake mushrooms, and the broth watery tasteless. This is probably the worst experience dealing with a business ive ever had. First off the lady answering the phone put me on hold and sat the phone down for over 10 mins. I had to hang up and call back and she did it again. I could hear her talking to a coworker. So I called again. Didnt know how they did their menu so was asking a few questions but I guess I wasn't fast enough so she said I was to slow and hung up again. My wife wanted jin jin (we grew up on milton jin jin- GREAT) so she called and hurried and ordered. But I had to pick it up and I guess she recognized my voice and after giving me my food, told me off and I think cussed me out in Chinese. She did say she'd spit n my food if i came back. Absolutely horrible customer service. I got the general chicken and wife got beef and broccoli. Mine was very close to undercooked and just gross and luke warm. My wifes sauce had something that looked like powder or flour in iy, not blended completely i guess. And both fried rice was hard like it was cooked that morning and just been sitting. Stopped in to pick up lunch for our office. I walked in and I was not greeted. The workers looked dirt and were missing teeth. The people cooking was wiping sweat over the cooktop. One man cooking was even talking on the phone while cooking. I waited to place my order, but the little old rude lady out front, never took my order. I waited about 5 minutes, and I left. I ended up getting our lunch from Pounders. It was delicious, and we spent a whopping 123.78. Please avoid this dirty looking dump. I had never been here. I am glad she didn't take my order. Came back to edit and add that almost every time I have placed an order, which is usually 4 dinners, they have included a bag of free wontons and/or spring rolls. For years they have done this. You should order! -I have placed two large over $100 orders in the last couple of months. Each time food was ready in 30 minutes or less. It tastes fresh and good. Our staple orders are plain lo mein noodles(soaked in possibly a teryaki) or white rice with Orange chicken mild (you can choose spice level), General Tsao's chicken, Beef with broccoli, Sesame chicken, dumplings, wontons, and spring rolls. Both times our order has been fresh and ready when time specified. I love the new order online system. It is easy and convenient. Enjoying my dinner tonight thanks to Jin Jin Crestview. Outstanding place been here a year and did not try them out till today been to two different location and this place been the best one in niceville and integer place in crestview but this one tops them both ... As far as fast-food Chinese takeout goes, this place is pretty good. I bought food here late one night on a road trip. Good sized portions and the veggies were very fresh and crisp, the way I like it. Good prices too, I was able to buy too much food for a family of five for under $20 bucks. Very Disappointing! This used to be a good place with good food but not so much anymore. As I was sitting there waiting for my food ('15 minutes' turned out to be a half hour) I noticed how shabby and worn down the place has become. I don't think they've ever changed a thing in there since they opened. It really needs a refresh. It makes you wonder if the public area looks this way, what about the prep and cooking areas...? As to the food, to start, the egg rolls were mushy inside and like cardboard outside. I've had better frozen ones that you heat in the oven from the grocery store. Spring rolls were also mushy inside, but at least the wrapper was crispy. Neither of the rolls had very much filling inside, way more wrapper than anything. My standard 'go-to' is Egg Foo Young and it was also a big disappointment. The pork inside was way overcooked and hard and the very few veggies in there were mushy. The sauce or gravy that goes with the Foo Yong was just fair - it wasn't bad but nothing to praise either. The House Special Chow Mein was cooked OK so the veggies were still crisp, but unfortunately it was flavorless, they didn't put any sauce on it and there was no bag of crispy noodles included like it says on the menu. As for the accompanying "fried" rice...it is what it is all over around here...yellow..and bland..and not really fried. I had never seen yellow fried rice until I moved south. So all in all, I don't feel the food was good or worth the money, and it didn't satisfy my cravings. I don't do Chinese take-out very often, but so far, two out of four places in town I've re-visited lately left a lot to be desired. I'm hoping one of the remaining two will be better. By far the best Chinese food I have tasted in the area. The beef and broccoli wasn't the greatest, the sauce was kind of bland but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. I tried this place for the first time yesterday. When I walked in I was immediately iffy on my decision to get my food here since the place was extremely dirty, but I order beef and broccoli and chicken chow mein. Today I was eating the leftover food I bought when I felt a sharp pain in my gums so I spit out in the napkin to find GLASS in my food. I freaked out and checked the rest and found another two pieces of blue glass. I called them to ask if I could get a refund or something to compensate for my bloody gums. When the man answered he spoke English fine. As soon as I complained about the glass he suddenly had no idea what I was saying and kept telling me to just order food. From the Four Seasons to the lemon chicken to include the Mei Fun noodles and boneless ribs, the flavor of the food was dead on!
