Originally, I left this review on Google, but I really want to emphasise how much care was given to me at this tea shop. Walking in, it's a very maximalist, lolita-esque designed cafe, all in your face. QR codes are how to order via the phone, or the kiosk at the front. The meals are a bit pricey but well portioned, but the crown jewel of this are indeed the teas. While I was originally apprehensive about the prices, they're really worth the price based on the size of the drink. During one of my visits, a character mascot came out and gave away some free teas (like tea leaves in the bottom, just add water) There is an additional part that I'd like to include, and if I could give this place 10 stars I would. One night, I unfortunately left my wallet here when I left around late 11PM. Upon realising, I called and a very kind man working in the kitchen helped me look for it, finding it in the outside trash can with all my cash gone. I got there as quick as I could around 12AM, and I had a little bit of a crying fit (luckily my cards were still there). During this time, the man was extremely patient, letting me sit down while I checked for all the rest of my things and making me a small drink to help me calm down. It comes out as a thick brick of toasted bread topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a mix of fresh fruit with honey drizzled over everything. The outside of the toast is crispy while the inside stays soft and buttery, and once the ice cream starts melting into the bread it gets even better. The fruit adds a nice balance so it is sweet but not overwhelming. It is a big portion and definitely something to share unless you are really committed. Don't waste your time or your money! We (sadly) went here for Mother's Day. The place is extremely cramped and hot as there isn't any ac, the staff are rude and the food is extremely over priced. They have you use a QR code to place orders, but it is an extremely frustrated process. If one person places an order, it freezes everyone else's ordering process at your table. They need to just switch to ordering with a human. One of the employees was dressed so distasteful I couldn't believe it. She was wearing a crop top that said 'Chula' that exposed her entire back every time she bent over with a mini skirt. (Remember, this is Mother's Day.) After my sister ordered her very over priced (and not good) popcorn chicken that took forever, she asked the employee for sauce, to which her response was, 'Later'. After ordering and waiting a long time for over fried (and again overpriced) avocado, I realized I never received my iced tea. I informed the same employee whose immediate response was, 'It's being worked on.' Over 20 minutes for iced tea? Isn't that the main beverage of the tea house? This place is absolutely adorable and has a great atmosphere for celebrating special occasions. It's definitely a cute spot for birthdays or small gatherings. However, the service and overall experience were quite disappointing. I came here with my friends to celebrate my birthday. After we were seated, there was no guidance at all on how to order or how the system worked. There were QR codes to view the menu, but we had to place the order on our own phones. No one explained anything, so we spent a long time trying to figure it out. While we were having trouble ordering, we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come help us. Eventually, we managed to place our order, but we were surprised that we had to pay tip and service fees upfront before receiving any service. It felt uncomfortable since we usually prefer to tip based on the actual experience. Also, we wanted to order additional items later depending on how we felt, but there is a service fee every time you place an order, which made the process very inconvenient. After placing our order, It took another 30 minutes to receive our first dish and we never received water even though we had asked for it when ordering. Throughout our entire visit, no one came to check on us or ask if we needed anything. We ordered the $85 afternoon tea combo for my birthday too with other main menus, and honestly, it was very underwhelming. The set mostly consisted of small pieces of cake and dry bread, along with just one very simple lettuce and mayo sandwich nothing like the salmon, cucumber, or egg sandwiches shown in the photos. The decoration with whipped cream was really cute and pretty, but there weren't enough tea sandwiches or cakes. Although the menu indicated it serves multiple people, what we received did not match what was advertised. They did bring out a cute basket with utensils, but there weren't enough utensils and they didn't look very clean. Later, we found a small card inside the basket that explained how to order and how to call a server using a call bell. This should have been explained from the beginning instead of something we had to discover ourselves after we finished eating. Overall, the space is very aesthetic and great for photos, but the service and food quality did not meet expectations. The COSTCO frozen crème brûlée was more authentic and tastier than this place.) The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food comes out pretty quickly. It's part tea house part Sanrio Shop. The decor is cute, in fact it's off the charts in cuteness, flowers and butterflies everywhere, kind of feels like grandma's house but with more flowers. They also have a lot of things you can purchase (stuffed animal, pens, pencil, etc.). The restroom is all the way to the back of the room. I had made a reservation for 11am and it turns out that they open at 11am. So I was the first customer for the day. I met up with one of my friends and we decided to do English style tea set (Afternoon tea combo). Instead of doing hot tea we opted out for iced fruit tea. The Afternoon tea combo ($75): 1 pot of tea and 3 tier cake stand (mostly sweets and one tier of sandwiches).
