My son loves coming here for their Taro Smoothie! He's obsessed with it. Really cute small place located on the corner of this shopping center. It's always been clean! Convenient kiosk to order from (but you can't use the Yelp discount on it) and you can't collect rewards since the rewards system is different than the register. I'm not going to be a repeat customer so doesn't matter to me. Ordered a large shaved snow and a drink. Texture was very fluffy. Flavor of the snow was weak and tasted watery. Toppings I picked were mango and mochi If you're going to advertise in season fruits, at least have ripe fruit.... the mango was hard and sour. Topping amounts were also very little for a large shaved snow. Redeeming factor was the condense milk which saved the whole thing just barely. I would still not come back again. The experience was also not helped by the fact that the to go container was sticky in the outside and dripping melted snow onto my lap due to some being on the outside of the container. This was my second visit here. Both times the staff weren't very friendly, especially the female who I interacted with on both visits. She doesn't even smile when interacting with customers, its awkward and uncomfortable. On this visit I tried the crispy tofu, and got a boba milk tea (which I tried last time). The milk tea is fine, nothing special about it. The boba were undercooked this time though. Requires an unhealthy about of chewing, not good for anyone's jaw. Probably going to try and open up my drink and toss the boba. The crispy tofu was AMAZING. It's prepared and seasoned just like the popcorn chicken, and like the fried tofu from Quickly, which I also love. A few issues: I ordered on GrubHub and purposely did not choose utensils, but they still included them. And I asked for non-spicy but yet they included a spicy sauce and didn't even warn me it was spicy. It also took like 20 mins for my food which is quite a while IMO. Honestly I much prefer Quickly to this place. Sadly Quickly closes early now, and they aren't available on delivery apps... and I had a GrubHub gift card so that's why I stopped here tonight.
