Black Milk Tea, Less Ice, 50% Sweet w/ Honey Boba ($7.25) - The tea is of the warm spiced variety that I've encountered only in a couple of boba shops, tasting kind of like cinnamon and cloves. It's a little weak in flavor, a bit on the watery side in taste even with the addition of non-dairy creamer. Half sweet is nice though, and same with the ice level. It doesn't otherwise stand out much. The way Teamate serves the boba is interesting, and not in a good way. They pre-portion out the boba in cups, rather than scooping to order. Who knows how long the pearls sit in those cups before being served. The texture reminds me of the microwave boba packets, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. In this case, however, there's some real inconsistency in texture. The pearls are generally lumpy, but some are way softer, approaching mushy, and some are way more firm. Mixed boba batches? I'm not sure. They're not all bad though, probably half of the pearls are nicely bouncy and chewy. Milk Tea Rating: 3.5/5 Boba Rating: 2/5 I found the drink from Tea Mate to be mediocre, especially since they don't treat the boba properly. I wouldn't visit again. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms
