Not the worst Asian food in the area but not too good. I have had really unpleasant customer service experiences both times I ordered. Last time it took over an hour for my food to arrive after the restaurant said driver was on way. I tried to cancel my order and they would not allow me to. I ate in the other time for lunch. Did a takeout lunch and ordered jalapeño beef. The server was polite but not overly friendly. The food took about 10 minutes to come out which is perfectly acceptable to me. The problem was that the food was very bland. I ordered jalapeño beef because I like spicy Asian food, and this was not in the least bit spicy. There was very little flavor to the meal and in my opinion, they used way too many green peppers in the dish. They only gave me one packet of soy sauce, which was really the only flavor in the meal. Tossed in some eggs rolls and crab cheese wontons because I really want to hate my body tomorrow. Everything was real good - did the pickup instead of delivery because I wanted to eat a few egg rolls on the drive home so my wife wouldn't steal them all. Good Chinese is scare in Denver, worse in the burbs. We've tried this place twice now. The first time we ordered Basil Chicken Sesame Chicken, and Chicken Lo Mein. All 3 were good. The Basil one could have used more chicken, but no complaints. The crab cheese wontons were just ok. The second time around we had friends over. We decided to try everything family style to get a better idea. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Beef, and Teriyaki Chicken. Another order of wontons, potstickers, and egg rolls. Almost everything was BLAND. Not a fan of the teriyaki at all. The orange beef would have been ok with some flavor. The Mongolian beef was the only one worth eating. It was $15.95...and there was seriously one big piece of chicken and the rest was not even a bite worth. I was hungry and we ordered at work so I didn't have other food options, so I ended up eating fork after fork full of onions. Thankfully had some rice to help it. I stopped in here for lunch! It's not my neighborhood so I didn't know what to expect... WHOA was I surprised! I love love love hot and sour soup and the flavor of this soup was amazing! I prefer the broth to be it a bit thicker, but I take that trade for the rich flavor of this soup. For my entree I chose shrimp with vegetables and requested it to be made spicy. It was served with an good sized portion of rice and a small enroll. They had added red pepper flakes to the gravy to make it spicy. The peppers flakes added only a slight hint of spicy to the incredible gravy sauce. The shrimp was perfectly cooked as was the assorted veggie mix which was everything usually found in Chinese food. This dish was prepared perfectly. This was simply the best Chinese food I've ever eaten!! read more

Jim's used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in this area. But it's really gone downhill. We ordered a take out order of Sweet &Sour Shrimp a few weeks ago. When we got it home there was no sauce in the order. Due to bad weather we didn't go back for it. Tonight we made the same order to even worse results. The shrimp was so tough a fork had difficulty getting thru. The veggies had no taste nor did the rice. We threw half of it out. Not going back. This review is indicative of my experience for dinner, I ordered the chicken with jalapeños. The dish was presented with a brown sauce and a wilted orchid flower on the plate as a garnish. However, the main issue with my dish was not the sauce or even the wilted orchid, it was the chicken. The texture of the chicken was mushy and spongy it tasted off as well. I thought that it was feasible that the chicken was improperly cooked, I sent the dish back and was told that they use baking soda to treat their chicken, so I should choose a different protein. That was a red flag, but on Christmas there were few options, I proceeded to order the Szechuan beef. After ordering I proceeded to the restroom and heard the chef and a woman arguing in the kitchen. A woman who appeared to be the owner walked up to my table and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, she proceed to warn me that "all of their proteins" including the shrimp and beef are soft in texture. She was condescending and was insinuating that there was something wrong with me, not their food. I cancelled the order. In summary, this restaurants food and attitude need to improve if they expect to stay in business. This extra star is for the server, she cared about my plight, unlike the owner. read more

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant when it was Yen King. Now it's just so expensive and the quality has gone down. Items like Kung Pao Triple delight dont have much meat but a ton of veggies. My wife and I got some crab/cheese wontons (delicious), wonton soup (awful) the Kung Pao, and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce (delicious). My main complaint other than the soup, the PRICE. $42 and that's for take out. FYI... they won't allow dining inside until everyone has COVID vaccine or virus goes away. :( read more
