This review is based on a single eyeglass purchase. I needed updated eyeglasses at short notice. JINS promises eyeglasses in 30 minutes. I reached 30 minutes before closing time, and they said they could not make them before they closed that night. But they took my order and they were ready the next morning. Prices were reasonable compared to other retail stores. Final eyeglasses were flawless and ready when promised. There is machinery in the background that apparently makes the eyeglasses in an automatic assembly line. I assume it's fascinating to watch if you get there when it's in operation. read more

Very affordable! The eyewear appears to be unisex. I went through pretty much every pair. Some of the pairs that don't have the adjustable nose pads don't fit well on bigger noses and not all frames work with the certain lens type. The staff is super helpful and will help you select a good pair. read more

JINS is great. Their frames, lens are both of very high quality and you can get your new glasses with just 30 min waiting. But don't do eye exams in this JINS location, never!!! Eye exam there is not offered by JINS. The staff are rude and they are not even doctors! When I made my appointment, I was told that they had online doctors. But during the whole awful eye exam process, I didn't notice the existence of any online doctors and they had already given me prescriptions! I would mark this review as 1 star to see if this can get attention from JINS management. Your glasses are great, but the eye exam office which doesn't belong to you is ruining your business!!! read more

I have been living with poor vision for 23 years, I thought that was the way the world looked, slightly blurry. I was browsing the Fairfield Mall and on a whim walked in to check JINS out. Within the store they have an area to get your eyes examined, turns out I truly was seeing incorrectly...for 23 years. Having never done glasses shopping or anything of the like before they helped me out. They have many frames and styles to choose from which allows for quite the overwhelming experience. Their prices are clearly set out, you pay for the frame, then it is a set price for the lens, and then additional $20-40 for the additional options such as JINS screen. I work on computers all day so I opted for JINS screen which is their filter for blue light. Within 30 minutes they had created my glasses and I was on my way. Now I can see the world in HD which is incredible, maybe it isn't HD, maybe this is just how I am supposed to see. Initially, I bought a pair of glasses here online for the first time and the process was pretty quick, all I had to do was choose a frame and upload a picture of my prescription with my pupillary distance. When they came in, they fit perfectly, but I ended up losing this pair, so I had to buy a new one and decided to come to the store in person. During COVID-19, the employees do a good job keeping up with sanitizing everything to make it safe for everyone shopping. I made an appointment, picked a frame, and the employee named Mariecor / Mars helped me out with the fit and everything. She, along with the other staff members there that day, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful! I did not expect to come home with the glasses that day, but my glasses were ready in 30 minutes. I love this store for buying glasses since the frames are so cute and affordable, the workers are helpful and nice, and it is such an easy and quick process compared to having to wait weeks at my original optical store! I've always seen this place when I went to the mall pre-covid and I've heard so many good things about their frames but I never actually went in until recently. The person who helped me pick out my frames was Vy and she was really patient as I tried on 10+ frames. She gave pointers about which frames would fit me best and explained clearly about how my lenses would fit on the frames since I have a big difference in the prescription of each eye. She also made sure to sanitize each of the frames I tried on. I came in for prescription glasses but also left with an extra pair of sunglasses!
