Excellent bar, restaurant and ramen in downtown Alpharetta. Attentive staff, swanky interior and good ramen. I am fan of Tonkotsu which was good. I like spicy and there were spiciest there to add. Pork gyoza was my appetizer. I didn't drink this time around but the bar is fully stocked...and they advertise The Happy Hour! The only issue I had is with ground pork which was not fine enough for my taste.

The environment was very polarizing. The tables were smushed close together (less than a foot between our table and the next) and there was an open wall to the kitchen, so you heard the noises from the kitchen. I wasn't a fan, but I didn't take off any stars for it, since it's just preference and some people might like that. One thing I am taking a star for is the fact that the staff would all randomly yell in unison (like a cult) periodically throughout the meal. We asked our waiter at the end of our meal, and he said they yelled "welcome" in Japanese whenever a new patron walked in. To clarify, they didn't even look at the person entering when they did this, nor did they explain the term to anyone. Just the whole kitchen and staff yelling a random Japanese word periodically throughout the meal. Service was fast, we ordered at 6pm and received our food at 6:10. Waters refilled within 5-10 minutes of being empty. I ordered the JINYA chicken ramen (pictured), with low spice. The broth and noodles were delicious but the chicken didn't seem like it was seasoned at all. My sister had Tankatsu ramen red with 3/10 spice, she liked it. The chairs were comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean.

Been craving Ramen, which is hard to find in vegan form where we live. So, traveling allows for more exploration and options. Their menu photo on Yelp showed gluten free noodles, but their in person menu did not have that option. I inquired and was told the rice noodles are made with no gluten ingredients but are boiled in the same water as gluten noodles. That is usually ok for me so I ordered them. Our server was being trained and I assume it was one of his first days, as his trainer had to intercede several times and explain to us what he was saying. Hopefully it's only up from here for him! We ordered the edamame and it had very little salt on it, but when it was dropped off we were told we could ask for more salt. We didn't bother and I don't think we even finished them. We ordered the creamy vegan ramen. It was just "ok". It was very very salty and didn't have a lot of umami compared with many versions I've had. When we arrived we were put on a waiting list with a couple people in front of us. By the time we left the line was out the door. It was very traditional sushi bar decorated with booths and tables. We were offered a high top in the bar, with no wait, but chose to wait for a seat.

Jinya ramen bar near Alpharetta downtown is a really good place for delicious ramen. The place is trendy, clean and spacious, and the service is quick even during their busy times. The ramens are flavorful and you won't regret any of the listed options. We tried the tonkatsu black, spicy chicken and chicken yuzu and all were great.

Jinya never disappoints. Visiting ATL needed a spot for late night snacks. 宵夜! had some hearty ramen with the right spicy level, and refreshing sake. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere was open, modern and comfortable. Pricing is comparable to the local area. Definitely recommend! by @winedinenvacay

One of my absolute favorite ramen spots in Alpharetta. Fresh ingredients and flavors stress 10/10 every time. The customer service is always top notch no matter which server you get. I love the look and feel inside as well. Definitely a must try.

The ramen here is consistently delicious, the service consistently great, and the restaurant consistently clean with the perfect ambience for a ramen bar. Our waitress checked up on us often, and the food came out quick and fresh. The Black Iced Tea is out of this world good, and so is the fried chicken- the best around. The ramen itself never fails to impress. Always good quality and quantity. Every visit here fills me up for the whole meal and the next. The Matcha Green Tea Tiramisu is heaven for all matcha lovers. Will be coming back!

I got the birria ramen with tofu, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My friend got the tan tan men ramen and I loved the spice level it came with. We both shared the edamame and ATE that like there was no tomorrow!. Our server Aaron was SO kind to us, honestly he's the goat, and that Brazilian hostess was SO sweet to us she made us laugh #baghooks! We adored the vibe it's so chill and everything is so cute! 10/10 me and my friend WILL come back!

Went for the second time and it was as delicious as the first time. I loved what I ordered the first time so why change it up. I added a better pic of the pork bun in the photos. Both times it was crowded which screams "super yummy food". Great ambiance, lively and great service. Free parking garage. I suggest getting on the waitlist as soon as you decide you want to go especially on the weekend evenings. There were other Ramen restaurant choices but I really love the choices here and I know I love the food.

I could eat ramen every single day, I truly love it that much (even in summer). Jinya is located right in the heart of downtown Alpharetta. Although parking can be limited, I've learned it's usually best to just park in the parking deck behind (near the library). The spicy chicken is my all time favorite, but all of their menu items are delicious! They even have some summer specials including cold ramen and refreshing drinks like the watermelon delight or the cucumber chiller. They have a long list of toppings you can add to your ramen such as seasoned egg, spicy bean sprouts, or bok choy, etc., and their seaweed salad is a great starter! The tempura Brussels sprouts are another favorite of mine. I'm sure it won't be long until I visit again!

Zach was the best. I arrived30 minutes before my party. Was allowed to sit with my drink and kept checking on me. My guest and I needed a relaxing meal. We were not rushed. Every detail was explained to my guest who never had ramen. I'm a ramen fan to the biggest degree...Last meal? Yes. I could say I would do a bowl of really good ramen. Theirs is the match. Red Tonkatsu with added mushrooms, extra egg, garlic and fried onion....supurb. Who knew tempura Brussels was a thing? It's a 45 minute drive. Let's got back tomorrow!

Consistent and delicious! JINYA is a great place to grab ramen in downtown Alpharetta! It's located in a bustling area that's really walkable and right in the heart of downtown, with lots of things to do. The ambiance is super chill and trendy, and the staff are friendly! My favorite dish there has got to be one of their appetizers, the JINYA bun! The pork inside simply melts in your mouth with the delicious aioli and crisp lettuce, and the bao is just so soft and pillowy. Their ramen is top notch as well and portions are great! I got the chicken chashu bowl for the first time when I visited recently and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Alpharetta

    Is the takeout in plastic?

The ramen is in paper-type containers (did not leak) with plastic covers. They separate the broth from the noodles/meat/toppings. Other things like apps came in styrofoam

    Are they closed now permanently?

most places are doing to go orders. i would call the number listed.

Is the noodle egg and dairy free?

I believe so. They have a Vegan Ramen option available so the noodles should be egg + dairy free. They also have an option to sub in kale noodles for an additional cost.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes, they do

Ok let me first say that I haven't dined here yet!!…read more I was looking at hosting a bridal shower in the area, where I'm out of town so dont have a way to come visit/scope out the place. Shannon was so accomodating, he sent me photos of the place where the shower would be, and answered a ton of questions for me. The level of service from him was impeccable, especially when I was pretty clear from the beginning that I was looking at quite a few different places. We ultimately chose somewhere else due to budget and we wanted a more "light and airy" vibe. I just wanted to drop a line here and say that this spot is really perfect for a smaller shower and for a pretty competitive price!

I did not know what to expect because the area seemed like upscale IMO and I was a little hesitant I would be treated a certain way. I was not . The place was very clean and nice, also has a fancy feel to it. The food i had tasted amazing, but the rice was a little on the salty side for me. I am not sure if its a southern food thing ( I am from the other side of the U.S) but, seasoned rice has been salty to me all over GA. I would definitely recommend this place to someone though. It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!
