    Vegan Spicy Creamy V Ramen*
    Marlene K.

Been craving Ramen, which is hard to find in vegan form where we live. So, traveling allows for more exploration and options. Their menu photo on Yelp showed gluten free noodles, but their in person menu did not have that option. I inquired and was told the rice noodles are made with no gluten ingredients but are boiled in the same water as gluten noodles. That is usually ok for me so I ordered them. Our server was being trained and I assume it was one of his first days, as his trainer had to intercede several times and explain to us what he was saying. Hopefully it's only up from here for him! We ordered the edamame and it had very little salt on it, but when it was dropped off we were told we could ask for more salt. We didn't bother and I don't think we even finished them. We ordered the creamy vegan ramen. It was just "ok". It was very very salty and didn't have a lot of umami compared with many versions I've had. When we arrived we were put on a waiting list with a couple people in front of us. By the time we left the line was out the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very traditional sushi bar decorated with booths and tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were offered a high top in the bar, with no wait, but chose to wait for a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

From the service to the drinks to [[HIGHLIGHT]]the outside scenery[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and especially the food, Jinya was an amazing place to eat at! It's tucked away in a little corner in the middle of a small shopping and family outing plaza so it's really easy to miss it but even thought it's hidden It is nothing short of spectacular food!

Jinya ramen bar near Alpharetta downtown is a really good place for delicious ramen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is trendy, clean and spacious, and the service is quick even during their busy times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ramens are flavorful and you won't regret any of the listed options. We tried the tonkatsu black, spicy chicken and chicken yuzu and all were great.

Jinya never disappoints. Visiting ATL needed a spot for late night snacks. 宵夜! had some hearty ramen with the right spicy level, and refreshing sake. Service was wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was open, modern and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pricing is comparable to the local area. Definitely recommend! by @winedinenvacay

The ramen here is consistently delicious, the service consistently great, and the restaurant consistently clean with the perfect ambience for a ramen bar. Our waitress checked up on us often, and the food came out quick and fresh. The Black Iced Tea is out of this world good, and so is the fried chicken- the best around. The ramen itself never fails to impress. Always good quality and quantity. Every visit here fills me up for the whole meal and the next. The Matcha Green Tea Tiramisu is heaven for all matcha lovers. Will be coming back!

I got the birria ramen with tofu, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My friend got the tan tan men ramen and I loved the spice level it came with. We both shared the edamame and ATE that like there was no tomorrow!. Our server Aaron was SO kind to us, honestly he's the goat, and that Brazilian hostess was SO sweet to us she made us laugh #baghooks! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We adored the vibe it's so chill and everything is so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 me and my friend WILL come back!

The decor is great, the location in downtown Alpharetta is perfect. The spicy chicken ramen bowl is delicious!

I could eat ramen every single day, I truly love it that much (even in summer). Jinya is located right in the heart of downtown Alpharetta. Although parking can be limited, I've learned it's usually best to just park in the parking deck behind (near the library). The spicy chicken is my all time favorite, but all of their menu items are delicious! They even have some summer specials including cold ramen and refreshing drinks like the watermelon delight or the cucumber chiller. They have a long list of toppings you can add to your ramen such as seasoned egg, spicy bean sprouts, or bok choy, etc., and their seaweed salad is a great starter! The tempura Brussels sprouts are another favorite of mine. I'm sure it won't be long until I visit again!

Went for the second time and it was as delicious as the first time. I loved what I ordered the first time so why change it up. I added a better pic of the pork bun in the photos. Both times it was crowded which screams "super yummy food". Great ambiance, lively and great service. Free parking garage. I suggest getting on the waitlist as soon as you decide you want to go especially on the weekend evenings. There were other Ramen restaurant choices but I really love the choices here and I know I love the food.

Zach was the best. I arrived30 minutes before my party. Was allowed to sit with my drink and kept checking on me. My guest and I needed a relaxing meal. We were not rushed. Every detail was explained to my guest who never had ramen. I'm a ramen fan to the biggest degree...Last meal? Yes. I could say I would do a bowl of really good ramen. Theirs is the match. Red Tonkatsu with added mushrooms, extra egg, garlic and fried onion....supurb. Who knew tempura Brussels was a thing? It's a 45 minute drive. Let's got back tomorrow!

Consistent and delicious! JINYA is a great place to grab ramen in downtown Alpharetta! It's located in a bustling area that's really walkable and right in the heart of downtown, with lots of things to do. The ambiance is super chill and trendy, and the staff are friendly! My favorite dish there has got to be one of their appetizers, the JINYA bun! The pork inside simply melts in your mouth with the delicious aioli and crisp lettuce, and the bao is just so soft and pillowy. Their ramen is top notch as well and portions are great! I got the chicken chashu bowl for the first time when I visited recently and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Alpharetta

    Is the takeout in plastic?

The ramen is in paper-type containers (did not leak) with plastic covers. They separate the broth from the noodles/meat/toppings. Other things like apps came in styrofoam

    Are they closed now permanently?

most places are doing to go orders. i would call the number listed.

Is the noodle egg and dairy free?

I believe so. They have a Vegan Ramen option available so the noodles should be egg + dairy free. They also have an option to sub in kale noodles for an additional cost.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes, they do

We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, my husband ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the lettuce wraps app as my main. The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!

What made matters worse, she served another person who sat down after I did, which lead me back to the hostess desk because I did not want to have a bad experience at the bar!!! I sat outside and the wait was very long before a familiar waiter (the saving grace of this experience) came along. Another waiter brought my drink spilling out and I had to ask for napkins, otherwise it would be a mess. Food is always on point! I had the 'Fruit of the Sea' Special. DELICIOUS!! We chose Coalition to celebrate a friend's birthday, but what should have been a special evening turned into an exercise in patience. Our meal took 2 hours and 45 minutes, which is simply unacceptable. While we understand holiday weekends can be busy, there was very little communication about the delays, and the service throughout the evening was slow, inconsistent, and overall well below expectations. We often found ourselves waiting long stretches for drinks, food, and even basic check-ins. What made the experience even more frustrating was the response from the manager, Victoria. She failed to demonstrate genuine concern for the situation, offered no meaningful effort to compensate us for the nearly three-hour wait, and instead put the burden on us by asking what we thought should be done to make things right. As the customer, we shouldn't have been expected to determine an appropriate resolution after such a poor experience. Throughout the interaction, she came across as disengaged, unhelpful, and somewhat passive-aggressive rather than empathetic or solution-oriented. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the experience. It was just okay--nothing stood out as exceptional or memorable enough to justify the wait. By the end of the evening, we were so exhausted and frustrated that we didn't even cut into the birthday cake we had brought to celebrate our friend. That alone says everything about how the night unfolded. There are too many outstanding restaurants in Alpharetta to spend nearly three hours waiting for an average meal and leave feeling like your time and celebration didn't matter. I hope this was an isolated incident, but based on our experience, I can't recommend Coalition until they improve both their service standards and their approach to customer care.
