Came back to visit our friends in Alpharetta and decided to go back to Jinya Ramen Bar and as before we're not disappointed. As before 3 of the 4 of our group had the Spicy Creamy V Ramen with chicken and all said it was fantastic. For myself, I tried the Spicy Chicken Ramen with chicken and my bowl was also fantastic! The service was spot on and the ambience is very chill & friendly. This time we had to sit at a high top in the bar area which was fine as it gave plenty of room for the meals and adult beverages. Thank you again for a fun time with awesome food!

Excellent bar, restaurant and ramen in downtown Alpharetta. Attentive staff, swanky interior and good ramen. I am fan of Tonkotsu which was good. I like spicy and there were spiciest there to add. Pork gyoza was my appetizer. I didn't drink this time around but the bar is fully stocked...and they advertise The Happy Hour! The only issue I had is with ground pork which was not fine enough for my taste.

Had ramen at JINYA & it was soooooo good: top-end ramen spot. The service was fast & friendly. The interior is upscale, classy, & cool. Great place, only one drawnback - it's a little hard to find from the street as the 'front' door is on the side of the building... :)

    JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010*

We enjoyed the good portion sizes. More than enough to be able to eat in one go or take some leftovers home. The prices could be a bit lower but with the location of the restaurant Im not really surprised. The wonton ramen was not flavorful. If I wasnt looking I wouldnt know what I was eating. The original 2010 was over flavored with fish sauce and seasoning but this could also be upto one's personal preference. The thicker noodles were great though. The creamy tonkatsu was my favorite if it was not spicy. Again this is upto ones personal preference. The restaurant is well visited. Attracts a young crowd and feels great to be in that kind of environment. Its buzzing so if you want that kind of experience, this is the place.

Been craving Ramen, which is hard to find in vegan form where we live. So, traveling allows for more exploration and options. Their menu photo on Yelp showed gluten free noodles, but their in person menu did not have that option. I inquired and was told the rice noodles are made with no gluten ingredients but are boiled in the same water as gluten noodles. That is usually ok for me so I ordered them. Our server was being trained and I assume it was one of his first days, as his trainer had to intercede several times and explain to us what he was saying. Hopefully it's only up from here for him! We ordered the edamame and it had very little salt on it, but when it was dropped off we were told we could ask for more salt. We didn't bother and I don't think we even finished them. We ordered the creamy vegan ramen. It was just "ok". It was very very salty and didn't have a lot of umami compared with many versions I've had. When we arrived we were put on a waiting list with a couple people in front of us. By the time we left the line was out the door. It was very traditional sushi bar decorated with booths and tables. We were offered a high top in the bar, with no wait, but chose to wait for a seat.

From the service to the drinks to the outside scenery and especially the food, Jinya was an amazing place to eat at! It's tucked away in a little corner in the middle of a small shopping and family outing plaza so it's really easy to miss it but even thought it's hidden It is nothing short of spectacular food!

Jinya ramen bar near Alpharetta downtown is a really good place for delicious ramen. The place is trendy, clean and spacious, and the service is quick even during their busy times. The ramens are flavorful and you won't regret any of the listed options. We tried the tonkatsu black, spicy chicken and chicken yuzu and all were great.

Jinya never disappoints. Visiting ATL needed a spot for late night snacks. 宵夜! had some hearty ramen with the right spicy level, and refreshing sake. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere was open, modern and comfortable. Pricing is comparable to the local area. Definitely recommend! by @winedinenvacay

The ramen here is consistently delicious, the service consistently great, and the restaurant consistently clean with the perfect ambience for a ramen bar. Our waitress checked up on us often, and the food came out quick and fresh. The Black Iced Tea is out of this world good, and so is the fried chicken- the best around. The ramen itself never fails to impress. Always good quality and quantity. Every visit here fills me up for the whole meal and the next. The Matcha Green Tea Tiramisu is heaven for all matcha lovers. Will be coming back!

One of my absolute favorite ramen spots in Alpharetta. Fresh ingredients and flavors stress 10/10 every time. The customer service is always top notch no matter which server you get. I love the look and feel inside as well. Definitely a must try.

I got the birria ramen with tofu, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My friend got the tan tan men ramen and I loved the spice level it came with. We both shared the edamame and ATE that like there was no tomorrow!. Our server Aaron was SO kind to us, honestly he's the goat, and that Brazilian hostess was SO sweet to us she made us laugh #baghooks! We adored the vibe it's so chill and everything is so cute! 10/10 me and my friend WILL come back!

I could eat ramen every single day, I truly love it that much (even in summer). Jinya is located right in the heart of downtown Alpharetta. Although parking can be limited, I've learned it's usually best to just park in the parking deck behind (near the library). The spicy chicken is my all time favorite, but all of their menu items are delicious! They even have some summer specials including cold ramen and refreshing drinks like the watermelon delight or the cucumber chiller. They have a long list of toppings you can add to your ramen such as seasoned egg, spicy bean sprouts, or bok choy, etc., and their seaweed salad is a great starter! The tempura Brussels sprouts are another favorite of mine. I'm sure it won't be long until I visit again!

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Alpharetta

    Is the takeout in plastic?

The ramen is in paper-type containers (did not leak) with plastic covers. They separate the broth from the noodles/meat/toppings. Other things like apps came in styrofoam

    Are they closed now permanently?

most places are doing to go orders. i would call the number listed.

Is the noodle egg and dairy free?

I believe so. They have a Vegan Ramen option available so the noodles should be egg + dairy free. They also have an option to sub in kale noodles for an additional cost.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes, they do

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

When I first had their ramen that's all I could think about when we visited Atl. After moving in the area and having this on a random Tuesday night idk what it was but I got their spicy kimchi ramen and my husband got their tonkotsu ramen and it lacked flavor. I asked for spicy Sichuan pepper sauce on side and all it was doing with a tiny bit in my ramen was making my tongue tingle the whole time. It kind of ruined my appetite. I had this better and not sure why that happened. I was charged extra without being informed of this and I gave her the whole sauce back after telling the server about this. I just like being informed of what I will be charged extra for, that's all. Anyways, overall did not appreciate this location at all.

My Crispy Chicken Rice Burger was quite hard to eat without it falling apart and eating it layer by layer. The Thai Iced Tea was pretty good and so was a Purple Sweet Potato Fries. The Omurice was also good but lacking great as well as the Yinyang bowl. Overall my expectations were not met but glad I got to check out this popular franchise.

Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???

I happen to be shopping in Alpharetta and I had seen a TikTok review about his place so I decided to try it out. This establishment specializes in chicken. Everything is Korean chicken. It has this special sauce and grated pickles. It was so good. The bun was soft and the chicken was crispy. This was the kind of sandwich that would knock Popeyes chicken sandwich out of this atmosphere !!! The place was clean. It was quite a few people enjoying their lunch when I arrived. The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.
