My 3 coworkers and I went for lunch 2 weeks ago and I've already been back! So excited about their homemade dipping noodles!! We shared 2 orders of buns,1 chicken, 1 pork. The pork was moist the bun was soft and delicate. The pork was crisp but not overly crispy. The bun wasn't overfilled and was perfect! I ordered the Spicy Ramen w/ crispy chicken by accident!! How could I do that??? I went for their homemade dipping noodles!! Dang! Anyway, the broth was aromatic and yummy. The Ramen with the fresh garlic (Extra charge but didnt even need it) and the chili paste...was soo comfy and paired really well with the overcast, rainy weather that day. I kept wondering...how does the chicken stay so crisp?? I've dunked it with every bite and slurp!! Gotta try! As I mentioned, I did go back. For the dipping noodles, and unfortunately, did not enjoy them. They were served cold, which I had read, and was served with a warm broth. The broth wasn't "warm" enough to thoroughly warm the thick handmade dipping noodles, for my liking. I also thought the broth was overly fishy for my taste.

One of our go to ramen spots, whether in person or to go they always hit the spot. Incredible service in there, feels homey and classic and delicious food. Always a treat and really affordable compared to others for the quality you get!!

Food is amazing! Service was great and everything came out pretty fast. We tried a couple different appetizers and soups that Maggie recommended us and it was delicious. She is super sweet and I'll definitely be back.

Went here on a busy and cold night and although parking was quite difficult to find eventually found parking nearby. There is a parking lot in the back but very limited. Once I sat down there was a QR code for the menu and I took a look at it. Lots of great appetizers and tons of great ramen options. We got fried gyoza, nori fries and tonkotsu ramen. It came out very quick and looked absolutely delicious. The ambiance was very busy but it was full of life and perfect for the occasion! Overall, it was a great little spot and the ramen was absolutely delicious.

This was quite the coziest meal! The tonkotsu was very flavorful, the broth was rich and not too oily so that was such a pleasure to enjoy. The pork was tender and a lovely bite, with the noodles having a great bite to them. We were sat and fed in less than an hour and I super appreciate a divine no frills place to eat.

It's been about a year since I've been here and I'm so glad to return! Okiboru is as yummy as I remember it, and my boyfriend, a ramen lover, really enjoyed his meal here. This time we got the Pork Belly Baos and I got the Tonkotsu ramen. The baos were very very tasty, however, I felt that the slice of pork belly to be a bit thin - I wish it was thicker! As for the ramen, my opinions are the same as when I last came. Okiboru is very simple and doesn't add toppings (ex. no ear wood mushrooms, bamboo shoots, etc.) I'm not a fan of how they serve the egg cold, even for ramen dishes, however, the egg is perfectly cooked. The tonkotsu broth is flavorful but not overly dense or oily as I've experienced in other places. Their slices of chasu are one of my favorites - the chasu is so flavorful as well! Normally I cringe a little bit at eating ramen because I expect the meal to be a bit dense, but I love how at Okiboru I can enjoy my ramen without feeling gross afterwards. One cool improvement is they now have special to-go containers that are specially designed for noodle soups - the container has a shallow bowl at the top where you can put noodles or anything you don't want to get soggy, and then you can pour the broth at the bottom of the container. Very neat!

My husband and I came in for lunch on a weekday and thankfully had no issue getting a table. A server was at our table and got us started with drinks within a few minutes. It's been a while since I've been here and not quite how I remember it. We got the pork bao buns and the spicy tonkatsu ramen with garlic. The bao buns were amazing per usual. Though the ramen wasn't as good as I remember. There was only 2 small slices of pork and the portion overall seemed a lot smaller. I usually leave stuffed but was still kinda hungry after. All in all it was good but something is just different about the ramen.

This place knows how to make ramen and I could definitely tell that they made it fresh in house. The okiboru buns were a nice way to start off a light lunch. The broth tasted amazing in both the spicy and regular tonkatsu ramen. Ramen being one of my favorite foods, this place put up some great competition.

Still my favorite ramen spot in Atlanta. The food is great and the service is quick and friendly. I was a die hard J**ya fan for years, but Okiboru's food is way better and you'll pay less for a better bowl of ramen. Don't forget to try the fries they're a 10/10, trust me.

    Sake presentation was very cool.

Omg, the food was so so good. Ordered sake and tonkotsu. The pork was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The broth was super well seasoned. The gentleman who was my server was kick butt. Really attentive without interrupting in any way.

Came here last week because it's been it my saved restaurants and I was in the area. Let me just straight up say, THIS WAS THE BEST RAMEN IVE EVER HAD IN LIFE. I ordered the spicy Tonkotsu with extra garlic. The broth tasted like it was made with love for hoursss. Super flavorful with the perfect ratio of broth to house made noodles. The pork was so juicy and tender. My mouth was dancing as I ate. Manneeeeee. You won't regret it. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Gave recommendations, talked about some of the dishes I had questions to. He packed up all my leftovers at my table without me asking. It aaa almost like a fine dining experience. All the apps were great. You can point to anything on the menu with your eyes closed and it'll be the correct choice lol. Will be back soon.

While a small seating area, they did a good job of seating and serving people quickly even on a busy weekend evening. This was the one entree vegetarian option and it was delicious! Be warned this is spicy but so worth it. It's a no frills and all flavor kind of place so great for a classic lunch or dinner kind of vibe.

We came late last night due to traffic and arrived around 20mins before closing. It was another full house and unfortunately they were not able to accept any more dine in. Staff was very polite to explain and offered to-go option. We never order to-go ramen or tsukemen, not a bad idea to have a picnic outside. Spicy paitan tsukeme with chashu is always my favorite. To-go packaging came handy and easy to manage eating in the car. Broth is just right, not watery not too thick, and I find only Sandy Springs location can keep this consistent. Though we were told all the location should be the same. Hmm went to Buckhead location 2 weeks ago and it was not... and even Duluth location it didn't taste the same. I don't know why, but even tho Sandy Springs is far from home, we'd still rather make the trip down here. It worths... always. Just to satisfy my craving for a good ramen.

You may not be able to park right up front next to the door. I want to say first and foremost the spot has a really good happy hour situation. So you want to take a look at that happy hour menu. You can get a lot for a little when you go. I think I did too much that day LOL! But the happy hour is really good. You can see the stuff that I got below. The service was actually pretty good and was fast so I didn't wait a whole long time to get my food and everybody was really cool and friendly. Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts were okay. They came temporary style so they were fried and battered. I'm pretty sure those are ranch dressing that went along with them, or maybe the sauce for the fries was that and sauce, I'm not sure. But they were okay. But I wouldn't rush back to them necessarily. Crispy chicken - The crispy chicken was decent. It came in very large chunks of chicken, kind of like smaller chicken tenders. Nothing out of the box though. They were only so seasoned, nothing got to make your mouth explode LOL Beef chashu bowl - This bowl was good. Kind of reminds me of that. I'm getting your beef kind of flavor. It's basically a rice bowl if you traded the ramen and the broth for rice. And you have that beef and the egg and a couple of other accompaniments, but it's really good or very far too. I kind of a brown sugar teriyaki kind of blend and if you want to know the flavor profile. Spicy chicken ramen - was good. I got it spicy but it's another level above that. If you want more heat. It comes with two chicken in it, and plenty of very good news. The broth is super savory and it will make you tingle a little bit LOL. French fries - The fries are shoestring fries and they're okay. They tell me the sauce. I'm not sure what it is though. But they are decent, nothing pretty out of the box. Even though it's a chain, the ramen is totally worth it.

I ordered the same spicy Tonkotsu ramen I had before, but it tasted completely different this time. I remember the noodles being very fresh and the broth having a much richer flavor. This visit honestly reminded me a little of Jinya's ramen, which personally isn't my favorite style. The broth almost tasted creamy, like milk had been added. Maybe not, but it just didn't taste as fresh to me with a deep flavor as before. Someone also recommended the Okiboru buns, and I wasn't too impressed with those either. I originally wanted the braised ribs, but TikTok hype convinced me otherwise, so that part is on me. Looking back, I think the ribs or even the panko shrimp probably would've been the better choice. The shrimp is my normal app so I take fault for the switch up. Overall, I'd still say give it a try for yourself because everyone's taste is different. There are a lot of ramen spots around Atlanta now, though, and this visit just didn't leave me as impressed as my previous ones did. Just being honest.
