I only realized after the lady behind the counter didn't look up once or acknowledge me, which gave me unwelcoming vibes. I last reviewed this spot in May 2022, when I praised it for its generous portions and unbeatable prices in Kirkland. Back then, you could get a bowl of pho for just $11, which seemed like a steal. However, after visiting countless times over the past two years, I've watched this place go from affordable to outrageously overpriced, and sadly the portion sizes have shrunk drastically over the years; the bowls are smaller, and the toppings are disappointingly sparse. In just two years, the prices have skyrocketed by over 85%, far exceeding inflation and even S&P 500 gains during that time. They're clearly using inflation as an excuse for these ridiculous hikes. For example, their steak pho, which used to be $11, has been rebranded as "Pasture-Raised Steak Pho" and now costs a staggering $20.80--for exactly the same dish; don't be fooled. The value just isn't there anymore, and it's no surprise the place is always empty. There are plenty of better options in the area that offer larger portions, more toppings, and far better prices. To make matters worse, the service and wasteful practices are frustrating. Everything except the metal tray is disposable--the bowls, plates, and even the utensils--creating an unnecessary amount of trash. And why is there a tip option when you have to place your own order, pick it up yourself, and even clean up afterward? If you don't bus your table, the staff will ask you to return and clean it, which makes the tipping system even more baffling. If you're looking for good pho in the area, I highly recommend: - Uptown Pho in Kirkland - Yummy Pho in Redmond - Ba Bar in Seattle I don't expect much to change in the next couple of years, but I hope to return eventually. I'm not sure of her name, but there is a woman who is always wearing glasses who I see you give her 200% to the customers. The food here is always fresh and hot, the ordering is pretty self explanatory, and the parking lot is actually right below it, and they validate your parking pass. For up to four hours I believe. I love getting Pho here. Usually to go, they're very quick and package everything up nicely with a microwaveable, compostable bowl (and unfortunately traditional plastic containers for the broth). We usually get one chicken and a beef brisket. Both are excellent. It's also nice for eat in with a ton of plants, good ambiance and a wall of beer if you want a pint. I come here every now and then for a quick bite to eat and it's good. You can order through the kiosk or online. I usually order online and would recommend it during the lunch rush otherwise I'd go through the kiosk. I usually get their Tofu Spring Rolls with peanut sauce and so good!! This is one of those times that I really wish Yelp would allow half star ratings. It's a solid 3.5. But I can't justify rounding up, so I have to round down. For our dinner, we had a simple dinner of two phos - a steak and a shrimp. The proteins are good - both the beef slices and the shrimps which are halved. The shrimps are wild gulf prawns; if true, that's a step up than most. Most folks say they like their broth. It's too sweet for me. Not a sweet-savory as is sometimes used to describe a flavorful and potent bone broth, this just tasted more sweet than savory. I'm not a fan; hubby is ok with it. Another ding is the insufficient and sad bean sprouts. They put in a full-size multi-leaves mint in the herb component and a little dallop of wilted bean sprouts. (See photos) I'm used to a bundle of bean sprouts overflowing on the plate. Their packaging is fairly convenient and allows the broth to be nuked and then poured into the take home container. Their cost is higher than most. Their protein is higher quality, so it's somewhat justified. I'm a hard pass on the broth though. I probably won't be returning unless friends want to go. read more

You can also park in the QFC parking garage and buy something to get validated for 4 hours. The deco was very bright and modern with the counter space and self serve wall. The service was very warm and friendly. I ordered a combo pho, a steak combo, a steak ban mi and a bottle of cold brew coffee Togo. There was an area that you can grab the Togo utensils, water and the condiments. Everything was delicious and perfect amount of food. The shrimp pho was very delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I enjoyed the broth.

I heard a lot of people raving about the food here and unfortunately for me I tried to go to the Bellevue location not realizing a) it was a food truck b) a lot of people do pre-orders for it and c) it was already sold out anyway. So since I was in the area anyway, I went to the location in Kirkland Urban. Menu wise: the options were relatively light in terms of the pho choices. At the time I went, they had steak, brisket, chicken, shrimp, beyond meatball or tofu. So no tripe nor tendon but they make up for it in other ways. Like they given alternatives for noodles. But they also had vermicelli bowls and regular banh mi. One thing I learned that different locations had different options so there might be things in the Kent location not available in Kirkland. In terms of appetizers, they had banh mi bites (which I regret not getting). They also had spring rolls and fried rolls. At the time I went they had an appetizer on the menu called "deep fried pho." They had a sticker next to it saying unavailable so I didn't know if there was a specific flavor unavailable or that the item itself was not there (it was latter). As a dessert option, they had macadons. They also had their beer wall next to the register. I wasn't into getting that at the time so I didn't indulge. They had water (and utensils/condiments) next to the wall though As pictured, I had the steak pho with egg. The broth was great and it was generally enjoyable. The space was open for indoor seating and they had a variety of seating for different group sizes. When you are done with your meal, you take care of the plates and tray yourself. When you enter the door, you see plants and a fresh, clean environment with the kitchen area behind a high counter on the right. You place your order at a kiosk and wait for your food to be ready. There is a large monitor above the pick-up counter where you can see your name and order number along with time remaining until it's ready. We ordered brisket pho and a chicken lemongrass Banh Mi sandwich. Both tasted absolutely delicious! The perfect mix of flavors and just what we were looking for. They have a beer wall! I'm shocked to not find as many in Washington with all of the great beer choices we have up here. Im so happy to finally find one! I love that you can try a little of one beer and a little of another without needing to commit to a whole glass or a flight.
